Description : This is a not too sub oriented bass, which is created from a multisample of the Yamaha PSS-30 which I am currently modifying. This is some of the low notes of the stock Xylophone patch, which is a very cool attack-decay oriented sound. Key of B Phrygian. Composed along with the other "Thinking of You" loops, which are at 140 BPM, and are 3 bars long.
Description : This is the basic march rhythm from the classic Yamaha PSS-30 keyboard, which is currently on my "chopping block." The keyboard is commonly considered of little use, but I am making the best of it with modifications. Composed along with the other "Thinking of You" loops, which are at 140 BPM, and are 3 bars long.
Description : A loop which was created use a recently circuit bent Casio SK-1. This device has a "one key play" function, where a sequence of notes is recorded, and the sequence can be played back one note a time by pushing a button. On the circuit bent, a banana jack can be used with a pulse wave, in order to simulate a button press. In this case, my modular synth was used to simulate a button press, while different circuit bends were used on the matrix patch bay which I created. Some effects were used to enhance the atmosphere. Composed along with the other "Thinking of You" loops, which are at 140 BPM, and are 3 bars long.
Description : A somewhat hard kick drum to back up the Yamaha PSS-30 March beat. Simple but effective, and sound design is courtesy of the Eat Lead Copper modular synthesizer. Composed along with the other "Thinking of You" loops, which are at 140 BPM, and are 3 bars long.
Description : A loop which was sampled from my first "Studio A" recording of a recent instrument build called the Bias Machine. This instrument is intended for performance use, and is based on magnetic tape of any sort. It has a hand held playback and record head, with two inputs to record from, when recordable tape is used on the changeable tape mats. Playback head can be used with any sort of audio tape, which is sacrificed to be placed on the tape mat "atlars." Has a very turntable type of feel, especially when combined with effects. Composed along with the other "Thinking of You" loops, which are at 140 BPM, and are 3 bars long.
Description : The one shots which went into this loop were created a while back, for my buddy Stohgs. Some sort of DIY analog synthesizer was used for it, though I'm not sure what exactly. Composed along with the other "Thinking of You" loops, which are at 140 BPM, and are 3 bars long.
Description : A little melody that I created with samples from a Stella acoustic guitar, built circa 1939. The loop has kind of an eastern feel to my ears. The guitar had many problems, and has since been salvaged for parts. RIP dude down the street who was in his apartment for months with no one noticing his absence, thanks for the guitar.
Description : A basic trance style melody with a good harmonic structure.
Description : A hard kick build, drop or break drum section.
Description : A hard and glitchy kick and snare variation. Good dynamics.
Description : First in a series of lead melody synths. Frequency modulation has arrived.
Description : Another lead synth melody variation. Frequency modulation synthesis
Description : Third variation of the synth lead made with frequency modulation technology.
Description : Modular bass riff theme, good for electronic styles such as trance and dubstep.
Description : Modular bass sounds with cool envelopes, this time in a build up or break.
Description : Just a repetitive creepy psy trance bass with clicky overtones. Could be useful in techno or glitch or whatever as well.
Description : A build or drop with the creepy autopsy trance bass. Has some clicky attacks to go with the overtones.
Description : Very creepy psy trance bass synth, with some really crunchy overtones. V2
Description : Love this loop! Very vocal quality with a creepy bending synth aspect. Would be cool in so many different styles, and I'd enjoy hearing your work with it!
Description : First version of a dirty arpeggio progression. Not a clue where this sound came from.
Description : Evil dirty arpeggio progression v2. Don't know how I made this.
Description : A double time rendition to compliment the dirty dub drums, and break things up a bit.
Description : The full half time drum section of this dirty dub loop collection. Trippy.
Description : A nice shuffling pattern in the dirty dub drum loop loops. All this needs is your phat snare work!
Description : Just a dirty kick part for the dirty dub drum loops.
