I love your drum patterns and variations in that department but i would have liked to have heard you do a bit more with the main riff. If you added an L.F.O. to it and i dunno, maybe introduced a bit of distortion on it later in the track.
It's a good tune but it needs some more variation in it to make it really good.

i'm starting to get into this bluesy sound just off late as i've heard a lot of good numbers from other artists over the past few weeks. You can tell you've listened to a lot of this style as it's all set out very professionally and everything sounds great
What i particularly like is it has a real "smoky room" live feel to it which add's another level of depth and atmosphere.

I thought i'd cruise over and check out your tunage as you were nice enough to comment in Mr V's thread.
This makes me feel about five years old again with it's style and old school flavours. I'm not familiar with the origional track but that doesn't stop me from being able to connect with that classic 80's vibe.
Lot's of energy and drama going on all at the same time so there's plenty of positive points going on here.
i have to agree with Mr Maloo about the vocals though. They do get hidden away behind the music at times but aside from that this is a good track and i always think anyone who gets on the mic is far braver than i.

This is great. The mix clarity is all on point. Love the vocal and i can't pick fault with it at all.

I'm a big fan of stuff played in minor keys so i just had to bag myself a copy of this. Cigarettes are bloody expensive, So is everything else. This tune gets me thinking about the demise of capitalism as it all implodes in on it's self and although it's a dark track i find that image strangely satisfying.
This is a great tune mate. Enjoyed from start to finish.

Love this kind of style & you've pulled it off with style and finesse. Lovelly basses, nice delayed sounds and snippets of funky guitar to polish it all off.
I dig the intricateness of this tune, there's loads of stuff going on and you can tell that there's been a lot of time spent on getting this one right.
i can't fault this track and it just HAS to be another download.

Absolutely love this. It's got a kind of "specials" vibe to it. Your definitely at the top of your game with this style & i reckon if you could find a singer to throw a few words over this you'd be on to even more of a winner.

Well this is pretty much the exact polar opposite of the last track you posted. That was really angry. This one says i'm all good, i'm chilled and nothing's going to upset me (even finding out that Eddie Sh**s the supporting act for the concert you just bought tickets for)
Tranquility i would say sums this up in one word.
I feel like going to the beach now (not Brighton though. It's filthy and covered in stones)

I'm laughing to myself because your avatar kind of suggests that people are going to be in store for a bit of Antonio Banderas style, Tequila slamming, Mariachi music.
Again you're synth work is really good here (is that a midi guitar you're using?) It's got me thinking UFO landings and little green men. Again the attention to detail is what strikes me about this and musically it's spot on. We just need to get you to focus a little more on your backbeats and stuff and when that happens you're going to be making some killer stuff.
As i said in my last post i can send you some stuff to work with if you like. I think your fancy synth work would compliment what i do really well.

I'm digging what's going down here. It's got me in the mood for a game of "wipeout" because it reminds me a little of that soundtrack.
I always think breakbeat's under rated round here so it's nice that i've landed on a piece of well designed, quality tunage.

I can't see why this missed out. We must be playing host to a right bunch of scrooges & grinches on this website since only three people have commented on this most excellent christmas track before me.
The only complaint i have to make about it is that half way through i went out to check the stocking i'd hung up by the chimney before i realized that he aint coming for another nine months!

For some reason this piece has got me thinking vampires in the dessert like in that film "near dark"
Again i'm thinking to myself "spend more time on ableton" i see it's paying off dividends for your music.

For some reason i keep repeating this phrase to myself "I've got to get the hang of that bloody Ableton live"

Anyway, i still think this is great and the explosion at the end just seals the deal.

I saw this pop up in the featured section and thought i'd write another comment. I was actually playing this in the car the other day and i couldn't remember who it was. So although i might be a forgetfull c**t it just goes to show that your track blends in niceley with all the other "professional" (lucky b4$tards) tracks that i have on my MP3.

Fantastic work! I like the down tempo jazzy vibe to the music and your singing voice is superb (So good in fact i had to dive straight in and see if you'd uploaded any accapellas i could play with. Drat says i!)
I'm listening on rubbish speakers at present and i can tell this tune is worth listening to again on a propper sound system so i'm going to do it the justice it deserves and return when the rest of the house is awake. (Or i might just wake 'em all up with this)

This would be a really nice track if it wasn't for that distortion on it. i dunno if you wanted it to sound like that but personally i would have preferred it if you'd just dropped the gain down a little and made it smooth.
Musically it's a really good arrangement. Once you've taken care of the noise this will be spot on.

Everything in this track is wicked. Reminds me of a the stuff i was going chicken oriental to before age caught up with me.
I would suggest swapping the kick drum for a more punchy sounding one but that's the only thing i would alter. Everthing else is 'avin it!

This is bloody brilliant mate. Nice to see someone taking a different approach to the rap genre. The vocals remind me a little of massive attack and the musics a bit left fieldy (two bands i rate very highly)
So you see, It's worth going off on a random one sometimes. It gets people to check out your stuff.

This is some pretty mental stuff going here dude. It's sort of contemporary drum and bass. You might want to put a patent on that before someone robs it.
It's nice to hear someone break the mould with something that works for a change.
