How ctrl-Z on this site will delete the text, but not redo it if ya press on it again. Just something I found out.

Also, funny how ya mentioned liking Juno Reactor on one of your other tracks coz parts of this remind me of the Mortal Kombat soundtracks. Speaking of which, did you know that most of Traci Lords tracks were done by him (if I'm not mistaken). Anywho, this track has alot of energy that'd be good for action packed stuff. Don't really get the name, unless you were making a nod to the old PS1 game N20 (still got that one somewhere around here). Later on!

Try breaking this into sections and increase the pace per sample. Like I did on my track "Something More (tempo change version)". Daaam that'd be crazy! Where the beat almost bleeds together to become one long drum roll. Lates!

on The Storm 2 by DaMann
Mr.Discoverer_of_Site_Errors. Ok, onto the track. Hadta turn it up when it first started coz of how low it was playin. Maybe you could tweak those levels if ya remaster this.

Yeah, those synths were pretty wicked. And I couldn't help thinking the entire time was how ya said something about Goa-Psy in the desc and back to all the times I would listen to that station on http://www.di.fm. It made me thing of the thwarping bass that would accompany the synth parts like that. In a way I'm envious because I've wanted to make a Goa-Psy track for a while now. Anywho, nice intro into what I'm hoping is a larger mix set. Later on!

on The Return of Blunted... by DougieDJ
Eh, Blunt- I've noticed that too coz it's happened to me a few times (mostly when I qual check listen to my tunes upon upload). Dunno what to say there.

This is a cool tribute. The game soundy blips add a nice touch and the header of this came from the way ya made the bass sound. Rawk on homie!

The fade of the kick is pretty cool. So which games were you thinkin of when ya made this? In a way I'm kinda reminded of Half-Life, dunno why, but I could just see this in some kind of sci-fi FPS dealing with either some sort of murderous genetic infection or a creepy alien invasion scenario. Both I believe were elements of the above mentioned game. Course, I could also see this bein for some Resident Evil spin off or sequel. You def captured the vibe on this. Lates mate!
Avail
Avail replied Unknown
Well thx for the review i had a bit The Suffering in mind in the first part then a bit hitman 3 which changed a bit its style to horror and a rather bit splinter cell after the fadeout

on Experimental exercises by Avail
Is what sold me. I just hadta check this one out first. I immediately hear what ya mean about it having House elements. Coz that's what the bass had me thinkin right after it started. Dunno what the drums are, but the synth makes it sound almost Euro. Yes, no!?

Isn't it great what can come from just messin around? The lil break down @ around 3:01 and repeating a few moments later is flippin sweet. This is actually a pretty solid track, not as out there as I was initially thinkin it was gonna be. Later on!

Avail replied Unknown
Well from now on i will name my tracks like that :D The bass is house yeah the drums have the feeling of slowed down trance imo and about the lead i have no idea it got out pretty fast actually i don't like the mid of the song much. Yeah i love messin around when out of ideas. Glad you liked it.

on Intro by Eurosam
Be first, why? Haha, ok so here we go...

The beat's nice and I like the way ya got the synth all subdued. It's remindin me of the way a Vacuum cleaner sounds from across the house. Isn't that weird, yah. Dunno why, but that's what popped into my head. Childhood memories of playin with toys on the floor in my room with my mom out in the livin room cleanin up. And those vocal samples're killer. Kinda keeping in pace with that Transformers vibe that I periodically embrace. Keep 'em comin mate. Later on!

Did you happen to see the movie- Little Nicky? I'm reminded of the scene where the dog is sleeping and as he's snoring he goes- "La la lala la la. La lala la la." Sorta like how it goes in this song. Crazy stuff dood, crazy stuff. And this is exactly why I stay away from large sharp knives, hahaha!

on Sax Tastic by blairrock957
I like the way you've got the effects on the Sax to sound as if they're bein played in a large room. The amount of reverb bouncin back is great. I could almost see this being recorded live in a studio. Or the Green Room as they call the behind stage lounge area for performers at the WSRE station here. Funny thing there is I always thought that was what they called the part of the studio that they use to add CGI backdrops. Eh, shrugs.

And the strings sound as if they are being played on stage. Excellent work, my friend!

on something in A by blairrock957
Rap-a-tap-tapping. What were you bangin on to get those sounds, eh? As for the Guitar part, it sounded pretty sweet. As for the recording time error, I've done that a few times. Mostly on Magix MM12, because for some odd reason it sets at 8 seconds and won't allow you to record audio longer than that. It'll automatically stop, even if you keep goin. So you got to stretch it out to where you know it won't cut you off. Say like 8 minutes and once you're done it won't auto crop to match where the ending of the recording is. You actually have to go back and manually move it to there. Needless to say it can be very frustrating so I don't use it that often.

Ooh, I just had a thought for a song you could make with the following chords- A, C, G. Just gonna throw out a random pattern. A-C-G-C-G-C-G, A-C-G-G-A-C-A, A-C-G-A-C-C-A or somethin like that. Later on mate!

on Chillin Like A Villain by ZibmasterZ
Anyone? Haha, that's what the poppin back n forth kicks reminded me of. The sounds ya get in a Racketball court either off the walls or the floors. The accent ya put on the pads is real nice. A subdued melodic feel, but not overbearing like some are. And ya matched the bass decently, though you could maybe stand to turn both up a bit or fade down the drums a little in parts. Otherwise a really jammin track. Lates!

Coz I got it and am at the moment super reminded of Robert Miles older stuff. Like Fable or similar. The rising n falling keys on this are superb. Very awesome song here, lates!

I know what you mean and I encountered this problem with my track Tides, part II. Hadta drop it down to 96 KBPS just to load it on here. So that's what I'd recommend ya doing with yer stuff. On average I convert my stuff @ 112 KBPS and it comes out soundin just fine. Good luck with everything there. Later on!

I love Trance, but I really create more DnB in my lab. Yea I feel in love with the crystal falls and rises myself and went from there. I have lots of DnB tracks to upload, but they all have to be cut down because they are all like 7-10Mb. :( THANKS

Be a hero? That's somethin my n my Bragg buds useta say whenever someone was actin in a way like they were about to do somethin dumb, haha.

As for the message, I can relate. Not that I've ever done hard time, but I do sorta know what it's like to lose my freedom and lemme tell you, once you get it back those first few moments you appreciate everything. Even the silly and small things you'd normally overlook. Like how beautiful the sky can be. And I'm not talking about pretty sunsets, I'm talkin about just stoppin to look up into the endless blue. That's what I did when I got mine back.

As for similar lyrics I'll throw out a snippet of Shitwhistle-

"..if only, these homies could be
Aimin for history instead of the penitentiaries..."

Later on mate!

on Untitled - Preview by DougieDJ
Before I start to comment. Alright, lemme play that again...

The intro kinda reminds me of 2 things. Water cascading out of a fountain and then being lifted up by something. Like riding on an escalator, wait, more like walking up it (to go faster). The drums are tight when they finally take off fully they sound somewhat retro. The bass only adds to that, but the melody parts kinda detract from that and give it a dreamy cinematic feel. Sorta remindin me of that level from the PS game Omega Boost where the mech is travelling down that shaft.

Maybe with the introduction of the different synth parts near the end you could do a brief fade out/abrupt re-introduction. Starting with the drums and then leveling down the volume on the bass until it's almost completely gone. Just what I was thinkin the last time I played it. Lengthwise, maybe stretch it out to around just shy of 4 minutes? Off for now. Lates!

I was reminded a bit of Orbital's style, but as it progressed it took on a life of it's own. Though I could see The Crystal Method doin somethin with this. Throwin in some vocal snippets of an old news report, some DOT talk off of a scanner, or somethin like that.

The Bass is super wicked and I really like the way you've got this set up with periodic breaks n transitions. This one's very dance-worthy. Later on!

on End Results by DJ_JEZZA
Elements of D&B in this, but I'm reminded a little of a track that TravisHuckins did which he classified as Chemical. Anywho, just thought that I'd throw that out there.

As for Contra I can kinda hear similarities. Course, I dunno if yer into gaming at all, but I'm thinkin that this would go great for a game like Unreal Tournament or something. In close I will say that this is definately a very nicely arranged song. Later on!

PS. If you are into video games
you should def check out Contra
they're top 25 classics. SuperC
for the NES was my personal fav.

But goldy, eh? I did this too a few months ago. To about the same results on most of 'em (refering to the here-to-for zero reviews). Opted instead to take 'em down and create a link to that album on my profile here to my soundclick page to free up song space.

As for this, the keys n bass are wicked. And I like the way ya have that one element that fades in and out. This song makes things spin as if in a playground somewhere on a tire swing going back and forth, round and round while looking up at the sky and trying not to get motion sickness, haha. Later on!

Ya got this in the genre you do I was wondering what kinda flick you were thinking this'd be good for? At the mo, I picture it being used in one of The Borne films. Kinda like the way the score for Supremacy sounded. Or maybe for some sort of Matrix spin-off. I'm def gonna sav/fav this one. Really diggin the retro Freestyle type snicks or rim shots ya added to this. Later on!

I think all those videos were silly, because in the event of a nuclear blast- ground 0 would be vaporized. The only possible survival area is ground 3 (or is it 4- the fall-out area only hit by radiation). Lotta good crouching underneath a desk or behind a brick wall would do. Wanna know something retarded= The Army actually still has a section of their soldier's manual that instructs that people lay down, face down, headed away from the explosion. And don't even get me started on the gas reaction steps. Sorry for the rant, interesting mix man. Lates!

on Rain by blairrock957
Taken back to a moment in the summer of '90, I think. I just remember that it was back when I lived in Va Beach and on one particular day it started raining and instead of seeking shelter inside my friends and I stayed and played out in it. I'd say that it was probably in the mid 80s that day and the rain was nice and cold. About the same as the water in an indoor swimming pool. I tell you, once we were all completely drenched it was one of the most refreshing sensations a person could feel with their cloths on. Ok, that was a bad joke ending, but it did feel really great. And I remember that once the rain stopped it kinda made me sad. As if our good little time was over with the passing of the storm clouds. Thanks for the flashback!
