Top shelf material here, wow. Great backing track Richie, really well played, and then when you put MIME4E's vocals in with your great instrumental, well, it moves into another level.

A great collaboration between two of the Loop's finest. I need a big fat "FAVORITE" button right about now, haha.

I really enjoyed the chilled vibe on this one. It is definitely cinematic and would work well in a movie. I really liked your guitar work on this one, very nice bass line too.

Every time I sit down to listen to one of your songs, I am star struck. Everything from your phrasing to your control, perfect pitch.....you are what I call a "singer's singer." If anyone is interested in how to do this the right way, they simply need to only stop by and listen to your work.

The bass line is amazing on this one, and the guitar solo, well, fantastic. Absolutely flawless.

But that should be no surprise because you continually set the bar very, very high.

Bravo.

Well done Coney. Definitely a stellar effort. A bit hip hop, a bit RnB, but a whole lot enjoyable. I would love to hear a rapper on this to see if you can take it to the next level. If not, it's pretty amazing as it is.

Vicen, great pop song here. Your voice is a perfect match for the music. Thanks for posting the translation as well. While it is nice to know what you are singing, your music is universal in its appeal.

Man you have such great guitar chops.....timing, tone, everything just impeccable. The bass line on this is stellar.

This track is radio ready, a great track to listen to while driving down the highways of the US.

Just checking through my tracks reviews and noticed I haven't responded to your comments here. My apologies.

I always appreciate your take on my work and particularly comments on the individual bits that make it up. Lots of acoustic guitar on this track (Ovation Celebrity) and most of it the old fashioned way using a mic (old school!) Farisha is such a talent - we need more quality like this.

And I thought Slap Johnson was the only one with talented kids....you showed me, haha. Great job by both of you. As Michael said, the fabulous Kikajon's are one of the best acts on the Loop. Loved the guitar battle at the end....EPIC rock and roll.

Outstanding vocals and one of the best bass lines I've heard in a long while. I saw John thought the vox needed to come up a bit....they sounded pretty good on my system.

Very nice work from start to finish. It had me bobbin' and weavin' with the beat.

Every little thing in this one shines, but it is the bass that steals the show (as it should). A beautiful sentiment and a beautiful tribute.

Ritchie, you nailed this one on the proverbial head. Great instrumentation....sounds like this one was recorded live in 1978 (and that's a good thing).

Awesome mix, and the vocals....well, they are perfect, as usual. Ms. MIM4E is such a huge talent, and together, you two are unstoppable.

This one is definitely ready for prime time. Well done to both of you. Thanks for a trip back in time.

Great to hear from you. The thing is I can remember playing live in 1978 (I was 28 and working in a club band in Chester, UK) and they were good times. I wanted an authentic disco dance feel to the track so pleased with your comments and glad you enjoyed the "retro" feel.

I think I have heard probably hundreds of different versions of this song, but by far, this is one of the best. I loved the blending of the children with your vocals.

Words cannot describe your talent. I would love a copy of this for Mama Bear's Christmas music collection on her IPod if that is possible.

Great guitar work on this one....stellar tone, nicely distorted, with that rock and roll growl I absolutely love. I didn't have a chance to hear this without vocals, but the vox definitely belong.

Mix is spot on as well. That you on the lead? If so, awesome work there as well.

This one is definitely a 10/10.

You are bringing the fire on this one!!!!! Great percussion and I love all of the elements you added. If I was a rapper trying to gain some credibility, I would be be all over this one. Nice crisp mix as well.

I know you have this in hip hop, but damn man, this is as close to RnB as you can get.....you remind me a bit of Al Green - if he was a baritone. Great vocal chops.

The recording issues are all things that can be rectified with a good sound engineer and great equipment. Loved the backing track on this one as well.

I would love to hear a duet with you and MusicIzMee4Ever. That would be epic.

Anyway, enjoyed the listen and best of luck.

Thanks for the comments. We have been working on this since the posting, and it's come a long way; just a few minor tweaks remain. And...ummmmm...I'm not a baritone...lol...perhaps when I am a LOT older.

Hey Dex, always, always use strings :) I believe they are the secret between good tracks and great tracks, and this is a great track.

I'd say your first track after the return to Looperman is a resounding success.
