Description : 2002. Just sharing some Christmas memories.
Of course, I knew nothing about recording, mixing, mastering, so PAY NO ATTENTION TO ANY OF THAT. :-)
P.S. Not gonna put it up for DL cuz I really just want to share them, but if you would like a copy just ask.
Well that was pretty cool with your kids filling in the background like that. Puts a new curve on that Christmas song I hadn't heard before. It was cute and very good.
Not sure I'll do a Christmas instrumental this year. I did one a couple years ago which is within my tracks section. Working on a slide Blues tune now, as I haven't done slide guitar in awhile. lol
Anyway's, I always enjoy listening to your songs and reading about you here and there, and seeing your vids.
you're becoming a pleasure to listen to. My neighbours already had their lights up 2 weeks ago, but this is bringing in the Xmas spirit nicely, adorable sound clips! rat-a-tat-tat, u rock
I think I have heard probably hundreds of different versions of this song, but by far, this is one of the best. I loved the blending of the children with your vocals.
Words cannot describe your talent. I would love a copy of this for Mama Bear's Christmas music collection on her IPod if that is possible.
The harmony is killer! And the kid "rap" very cute! Thanks for sharing this. Oh, and...ummmm...you look like a 15 year old on your photo. Imaginne my surprise when you mentioned kids!!! hahaha
lol. i try to keep my personal life away from this aspect of my life...but yes, i have children and as i listen now i am VERY proud of them for their contribution to the songs.
The song sounds good...and reminds me a bit of the some the Christmas tracks the Jackson 5 used to do...Christmas didn't feel like Christmas in my house until we played the Christmas in Motown LP whilst putting up the decorations.
Description : After 6 months, i turned into Sister Nancy and bam bam bam my plants grew like my inspiration. i try to get better with my mixes. Im feeling like i never find my eq balance on vox.
Description : I wrote this song about 25 years ago; a feel good Christmas song of my own.
Using 3 part harmonies during the verse and 5 part harmonies during the chorus; 2 and 3 part acoustic guitar harmonies during the "solo".
I am performing all except for Apple drum loops.
Done in the style of Country.
Description : Gospel track sung by Patricia Edwards.I had remixed this with a verse by Lacrae. I pulled the verse but thought to upload the track anyhow. Maybe some Looper will drop a verse in it. Feel free to use on the condition to drop me a link and respect Patricia's, no commercial use clause.
Description : This hymn, (also known as the Navy Hymn), was my wife’s grandmother’s favourite hymn. Wasn’t familiar with it. The Wikipedia article had an arrangement which I used for this track. Harmony is not my work, but the orchestration is. Made the track more as an exercise in exploring harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration. I realize this is not anything close to the norm of tracks here on Looperman, but it’s always good to stir things up a bit, right?
