on Lovin me wrong featuring Patricia Edwards by RichieWinn
Richie, you do it again....and man do you do it well. Every time you and Patricia get together it is a master's class in songwriting, performing, production, every last aspect that it takes to do a great song.

I don't have an adjectives to describe this. All I can say is I really admire your amazing talents and sure am glad you share them with all of us. Patricia, well we all know just how good she is.

This is top shelf, radio ready material. My hat is off to both of you. Thanks for the download as well. I hope all is well.

Hi Bear

It is always a pleasure having you stop by and write some comments. Thank you for your highly complimentary words and your support of our work.

I guess what is more pleasing for me with this track is I not currently at home so don't have access to my usual array of instruments and hardware. It's all been done on borrowed stuff!

Glad you enjoyed the song and thanks again. Hope all is well with you too.

Regards

Richie

Gray Floyd returns :) Very nice. Love the guitar work on this one and the chilled vibe. I just picked up a copy of Samplitude 11.5 Producer Edition and so far I'm really impressed. Looks like you have it pretty well figured out judging by this track.

Outstanding effort my friend. Great to have you back on the old Loop.

thanks bear, i am loving sampro 11.5!!! it is perfect for me and my "old school" recording background... i could not be more happy with it... plus, now that i know that you have it, there is a function to email an entire project... so lets get grey floyd back together!!!
all the best to you and yours, always, neil
ShortBusMusic
Great work Carlos! Outstanding vibe that really plays well to Patricia's vocals. Stellar effort, reminds me of some of the great songs of the 70's.

The ending was a bit strange, haha, but it was different and that is good :) Another terrific song by two great artists.

Well done.

EPIC, EPIC, and should I say EPIC!!!! The dynamics in this one are absolutely breathtaking. Your vocals just soar like a bird in the winds. Stunning in every way possible.

I do miss the "favorite" button at times like these.

Thank you so much my dear friend for your review. I truly missed the Looper Community while I took my sabbatical. I need to do that sometimes to get a renewed perspective on things (music).

I shared this song with my mother a while back as I was compiling the music. It, at the time, only contained a scat vocal. She asked me to complete it and this is the outcome. We both were pleased with the outcome and I am so glad you are too.

Have a blessed week, my friend and I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Fila, I've never been to Bangkok, but after listening to this one I definitely want to go :) Like Dave said, I'm going to file your bass riff away for some other time, hahaha, great job as usual. Loved all the instrumentation and the mix is spot on as well.

Another Fila classic. Hope all is well.

Very nice. This is a good start on what could be a pretty good song. It's a rock/hip hop vibe and has catchy percussion. It would be great to see if you could expand on things a little, maybe add a chorus section. Anyway, well done my friend.

on SKANKY ANN by Planetjazzbass
Dave, you always do it up right. The bass on this one is a lesson for all of us who own a bass, but never really learned how to play it the right way. I think a lot of people forget just how important that bass line is to everything else in a song. Zappo again illustrates his huge talents and Slap, well we all know how great he is.

This is the melding of three huge talents and the resulting product is perfect. I needed a little pick me up this morning and this one did the trick. I think I'll head off to the pool now for a cold beverage and a dip in the deep end :) Maybe Skanky Ann will be there in her bikini, hahaha.

Hope all is well. Downloaded to enjoy over and over. Thanks for that.

on Move Your Car muzic by Shortbusmusic by FullCapicityMuzic
This is by far, one of the best driving songs I've heard. Your vocals took this one way over the top and it is now burned to CD's and on the IPod and will be played loudly and proudly in my car, especially when following some little old lady with blue hair who feels the need to occupy the fast lane while driving 1/2 the speed limit, hahaha.

Patricia, you could sing the phone book and make it sound great. I knew you were versatile, but this shows that you can do anything and do it extremely well. Brilliant lyrics, brilliant vocals. This should be the anthem for our nation of commuters, hahaha.

AWESOME work!!!!!

Carlos, you had me with the bassline!!!!!! This one is so good on so many different levels...the mix is outstanding.

There is nothing to critique here. This is fabulous material from start to finish, an absolute professional job.

I guess if I had to sum it up I would say it was flawless. My only complaint was it was too short, hahaha.

I want more!!!

Outstanding effort my friend.

Rarely does a song live up to its description, but this one does just that. I was able to see those trees and feel the emotion of that moment in your life.

Absolutely beautiful in every way possible. Sometimes we all need to just sit back, close our eyes, and let ourselves be part of a song. Thanks for allowing me that privilege.

And a huge thank you for the download. I will save this song for those times in my life when I need a little bit of peace and beauty. I hope all is well.

Bear,

Thank you dearly for the gracious comment. Music for me is a way of expressing myself. What I can't always put into words, I just sit at the piano, and let my fingers do the talking.

Thank you again!

Hey VSS, you have courage my friend. As has been said, most people stick to one genre or maybe two, but rarely move out of their comfort zone. I salute you!!!

Like Ed, if I went to a club, all I would do is check out the girls as well :) I did crank this one up this morning and gave the neighbors something to talk about, hahaha.....now all I have to do is put the paintings back up on the wall, hahaha. Great bass work on this one.

No advice here, just a satisfied listener and that is what counts most. Well done. I look forward to your next experimental dark house....house track. I hope all is well.

Hey Bear my friend, I hope you & yours are all well(all is good with me & mine with-in the greater scheme of things thanks)? Thanx for taking time out to listen & review. I love the fact we have circled the world and ##### up ya neighbours ears. That has put a huge smile on my face. I am trying to alter the way I work & produce stuff and hopefully will get there eventually. Knowing such talented individuals as your-self are listening and enjoying gives me the inspiration to keep on trying to do my stuff my way. Thanx again mate I really do appreciate your comments.

Well FR, not much gets me off my chair anymore, but this tune sure did get my fat #$$ up and moving this morning. I was going to attribute it to my coffee, but I think it was definitely your song that did the trick :)

I have no knowledge of this genre, but I do know good music when I hear it, and this falls into the category of great music. Very nice chord progressions, and I do love those pads and delayed piano.

Mix sounds great on my end as well. A definite 10 and a tip of the hat to both you and Romy.

When I see a collaboration with you and Richie, I always know it is going to be something special indeed....and I was not disappointed on this one.

Richie is an absolute genius and one of the few musicians who can reach the same level as your vocals. This is outstanding work (that bass line is just fantastic).

As Nick said, "We are not worthy."

But I'm glad you two share your talents with all of us.

Bravo.

on Speechless - feat RaRCharm by violetflame20
Nicely done....great mix, you really have everything sitting pretty nicely in the mix. The only issue I can hear is the vox are getting a bit lost in the mix when the harpsichord (possibly an accordion) comes in (at least I think that might be what it is, it comes in on the chorus right after the bell). Anyway, it seems to be occupying the same space as the vox and muddies things a bit. Other than that small detail, you really have nice spacing and great pacing throughout. I enjoyed your effort and can tell you put a great deal of time into the arranging, recording, and production.

Well done.

Thanks. Believe me, when i downloaded his acapella from here, it sounded spectacular but when i tried to mix it with my song, it did not fit at all. First i had to compress the vocals because the lead was much louder then the backing and even the instrumental. And when i made it mono, it sounded to weak, but leaving it normal left me with a muddy sound. The accordion was 50% to the right. I had to completely hard pan it and it still didn't help. So my choice was either make it mono and have it sound kinda weak, or just leave the amazing vocals of RaRCharm at its glory. Obvious choice right? Hmmm. I wander if i could've found a middle ground.... Lol thanks for the love.

Wow, I am really impressed. Beautiful lyrics, beautiful guitar work and really, really nice vocal work. This is a song that is current and relevant and could/should be something the kids are listening to on the radio.

An extremely nice composition performed really well. When the bass guitar dropped, it was a special moment. Bravo.

I am a little late with this, but welcome to the Loop.

I do know that you have transformed a simple piano piece into something very special. I am officially retiring the original track, so my apologies to any who try to follow the link to my track listing.

When I heard this I IMMEDIATELY DLd it and began working on it! I put aside the project I was working on and didn't even write down one word, they all just came to me!

That's when you know something is meant to be!!!

Thanks Bear, I'm just glad it didn't go for another round of Zero reviews and Zero downloads like it did when i first uploaded it. It did sound like c**p when i played it back again though. The LFO's were so harsh it sounded a bit like one of those old ferric oxide tapes when they got old and worn out lol.
It's funny you should turn up now as i found myself staring at the "get on the bus" rar file earlier and thinking "I was going to have a go at that wasn't i?" tsk tsk! Perhaps now would be a good time to start huh?

You're welcome! I appreciate your positive comments. I did modify the mp3 slightly and uploaded the edit so if you haven't gotten the most recent version you may want the new one, which is a little less dissonant toward the end.

Again, thanks for the track. (Hint, hint: the intervals on the 12-tone "circle of fifths" for a Native Style flute are 32232.)
