Description : Once again the very talented MusicIzMee4Ever provides the inspiration for a dance disco groove track. EZdrummer provides the kit and I have added a little Ultrabeat riff and some congas too. The bass line I doubled with my electric guitar. There's also some "house fever disco strings" and a synth patch from my GR55 in the solo as well as a couple of extra bass parts that arrive around half way through. Oh there's a piano and a triangle in there too!

Yeehh!
This is definitely retro-disco vibe!
I love the well-syncoped synth solo, and the clavinet pump is just grooving to death!
I don't know how you manage to make those horns sound like this...
My turn to congrat you!
Thanks for the comments - really appreciated it. Glad you liked the retro fell and the synth solo (played on my guitar through a Roland GR 55 guitar synth).
wow...i really dig this...reminds me of backyard parties back in the day one of the best tracks i can say ive heard in a while...straight up funky ass track i really like this
Thanks for the comments - really appreciate you taking the time to listen and review. Glad you liked the "retro" feel of the track. Flared trousers, open neck shirts, sounds good to me!
I agree with everyone, this has all those elements that take you back and Wow,those drums are tight and on the money.
Yes my music collection is full of disco,I love it!
Thanks for taking the time to listen and review - much appreciated. Drums are very much a passion of mine (I played for years back in the day) so spend a lot of time trying to get a live feel and make it sound like it's a human being playing them. Thank you for the great feedback.
Hope the track now sits well with your disco collection.
Ritchie, you nailed this one on the proverbial head. Great instrumentation....sounds like this one was recorded live in 1978 (and that's a good thing).
Awesome mix, and the vocals....well, they are perfect, as usual. Ms. MIM4E is such a huge talent, and together, you two are unstoppable.
This one is definitely ready for prime time. Well done to both of you. Thanks for a trip back in time.
Great to hear from you. The thing is I can remember playing live in 1978 (I was 28 and working in a club band in Chester, UK) and they were good times. I wanted an authentic disco dance feel to the track so pleased with your comments and glad you enjoyed the "retro" feel.
this seems more authentic than Foxy Cleopatra herself. Leads me to believe that you good sir were guilty of an unbuttoned shirt and bellbottoms back in 78'...or at least late nites @ the roller rink. In the musical realm of things, neat to hear something seemingly so forgotten, yet original. I bet MizM never knew what was gonna hit her, cheerz to that, ohright
I still have those bellbottoms and shirt! Unfortunately I can't get into them anymore (they must have shrunk!!!) It was actually a surprise to me the way this track turned out but hey, the 70s, who can forget?
Description : This is only a snippet of a little thing I threw together today. It features the lead vocal of our own Janis71. I have added 3 harmonies to her original loop. Kinda sounds Disco-y. I am very new to audio mixing, and hence am only stabbing in the dark here.
Description : Did I mention that I almost daily listen to funk and disco whilst working? Well, it is the perfect mixture of positive vibes and a steady groove. However I found it always challenging to put a good groovy Disco / Funk songs together. I guess you already heard Silver Bellas song from the AlanMcLarenProject. This is my (totally different) version. Please tell me if your feet went into the groove :-) Cheers, Oli
Description : Inspired by true events :)
Hey Looperfam!
-The vocal is in my acapella section.
I would love to hear some remixes. It was originally recorded as punk/glam, then I found the arpeggiator.
Hit me up for hi-res source.
Have a great day!

Description : I used a sample from the song Avicii and the rest of the instruments I added myself, I made this song because I do like a melodic line ...
Description : A little disco, a little funk, and just feel good 70s style music. Featuring some drum, bass, and guitar solos, with some groovy horns and disco vocals. Check it out...It will do you no harm!
Description : Decided to try my hand at making a 70’s old-school Disco track, shamelessly complete with a variety of Disco cliches. Tried to write some Disco lyrics but couldn’t come up with anything worthwhile. Decided to write lyrics about our cat. Name is “Bailey”, but mostly we call her “Bailey Boo”. Vocals made with Synthesizer V Studio from Dreamtonics.
Description : I created a new song in the 80s disco-pop style. Well, who still remembers the days when we danced for hours in the club? Yeah... maybe we're a little older now, but the groove is still alive! or ;-)
