on Leaving The Shadow by MOONLYTE
Outstanding work EYEDYE. You have a nice quality to your voice. I think if you had an opportunity to sing this one in a studio you would be amazed at how good you would sound.

This one has huge potential, especially if you want to add instrumentation (strings, bass, guitar, and possibly some percussion). It has an epic feel to it as it stands, but a ton of potential as well if you want to take it to another level. Really sounds like something Coldplay would do (and I happen to really like Coldplay's music). Very nice job. I hope all is well.

Love the dynamics on this one....great transitions, mix is spot on as well. No critique here, just a great beat that leaves a lot of room for a vocalist to do their thing. Much respect my friend. I hope all is well.

Man Richie, you never ever disappoint....just stellar results time after time after time.

No critique here, just a big smile listening to real pros at work. You always set the bar so high....and set an example for the rest of us to try and emulate. Awesome track.

I hope the UK is treating you well.

Bonjour DOMR. Chanson amusante. Il coule bien et le mélange semble assez bonne. Pas sûr de la dissonance de la protection, mais pour la plupart, il s'agit d'un effort solide. Bien fait.

on admiration of the nature by deciBel
I've always been a fan of the pan flute, and have listened to Zamfir for a long time. This song reminds me of some of his work. Beautifully arranged as always and such a joy to listen to Behnam. Like all of your work, this one is special indeed.

This went perfectly with my morning coffee. Thank you my friend for the peaceful interlude this morning. I hope all is well.

I have to agree with the others....this one definitely has "liquidity" to it, flows so nicely. Mix is really crisp as well. Great little track that's been produced nicely. Nothing to critique here, just a really enjoyable listen on a sunny Sunday morning. This song, plus my coffee, made my day start out just right. I hope all is well.

It sounds like you are figuring out the usage of loops just fine :) But the real star of this show is your marvelous voice. You have some mad vocal talent and I look forward to more of your voice in the future. Thanks for sharing your talents with all of us. I hope you are feeling better.

oh yes I'm better .
i'm not a singer just sing what I hear in my head but promise to sing bette next time .
I'm a fan of opera and theatrical sound tracks
and composing a proper platfrom for that genre needs more knowledge and skills than mine .
I've just found many marvelous loops from you to create a classical composition.
I promise second will be better than this first attempt .
i am honoured to see your comment .
really appreciate your feedback and support.

on The Summer Of Minor Regrets by Orlando51
Just to echo the others, there is nothing to critique here...this one is ready for a film!!! It has a Celtic feel to it, maybe because of the haunting violin.

Beautiful piano work throughout as well.

Everything is spot on.

God what a beautiful piece of music Orlando, from start to finish. Absolutely flawless like a 20ct. diamond.

Beautiful, simply beautiful. I hope all is well.

Really nice work, like sitting in on a jam session. Sax is pretty realistic sounding so hats off to you for that...not an easy thing to do. Some of the best songs I've heard were jam sessions, and this is no exception. Hope all is well.

ShortBusMusic
First thing I want to know, is when this hits the big time, who do they write out the check to.....Mark or Larry, hahaha.

Like the others have said, a few minor tweaks to the mix would take this one over the top. Just a suggestion, but maybe bring the acoustic/vocals up to the level of synths, etc. in the mix. While the acoustic and vocals in the beginning are nice and soft....and sitting a bit to the right in the mix (at least in my headphones), I think they are missing that stereo picture that would really benefit them. They seem a bit flat and mono compared to the rest of the piece.

Anyway, I'm simply nitpicking here. It really is a great tune even if you leave it the way it is right now. Great job Mark...er Larry, haha. I hope all is well.

Hi Bear,
Great to here from you, and this alto-ego of mine sometimes has me wondering who would pick up the money!!! I suspect Larry would win!!!! thanks for your advice and will be taking it seriously, but it also really nice to know that you like it the way it is. Things are fine this end and hope all is well across the water.
Take care,

on NO to child labour Behnam ZanDi deciBel by deciBel
Behnam, you my friend are a genius....absolutely a genius. I would like to echo Steve's sentiments about you taking up a great cause, and this song absolutely captures the gut wrenching emotion that comes from thinking about all of those kids being forced into slave labor.

This song demands a video!!!! Man, this is so good on so many different levels....and that guitar is just fantastic.

Nothing to critique here, just massive amounts of respect Behnam. And a huge thank you for allowing the download.

And for all of the links.

EPIC work brother, absolutely EPIC

on sang av ensomhet by Prelude
Absolutely breathtaking! I can see this one could go in a cinematic direction quite easily....perhaps acoustic guitar playing something in a minor key, then add the pads, the strings, perhaps some light percussion and then fishish quietly with the acoustic guitar again.

Or as StaticNomad and Steve said, you could go in a more percussive direction. It will be fun hearing which way you end up going.

If you want to make this downloadable, I would be happy to give it a go on my end. Beautiful work, absolutely beautiful.

on No More Waiting by srbrown7
Hey Steve, great track (I know I hate it when people say that...but it really is a great track, haha). Like Danke said, the bass line is really special, but I've got a soft spot for great pads and this one has some of the best sounding pads I've heard in a while. Mix is spot on and the master is stellar.

I think I'll join Danke in rising and applauding this one. Fantastic job. I hope all is well.

Hi Bear, really nice to hear from you again..I get your great track comment but I think it's ok when it heart felt! Nice to hear the mix is clean and balanced at your end but when I listen to professionally finished music its still needs "something"...soften the tone or remove certain frqeuencies? Not sure but its not bad for just a home PC. All is good here and looking forward to some of your new work?
Cheers

Farid, first let me say thank you for introducing all of us to this marvelous instrument. It has a beautiful sound, especially in the hands of an expert :). Like Ed said, it is amazing that this was recorded on a webcam microphone....but also shows that you don't need a bunch of fancy equipment to make a great recording.

Really well done!!! Keep making beautiful music. I hope all is well.

on Starting todaY- Brandon Michelle ft Behnam Zandi by deciBel
There is not much to say here.....this is absolutely incredible. Mere words cannot describe the emotions I feel when listening to this. Your guitar work is so special, and than you add in Miss Brandon Michell's vocal work, and it is like something from heaven.

I'm on my third listen to this and it keeps getting better and better. This could and should be on radio. There is nothing better than an acoustic and a great vocalist. This track illustrates that.

Since I have no adequate words for this, I will simply stand and applaud both of your efforts.

Bravo Maestro, Bravo.

Hey Steve, great job on this one. I know the guy who played the guitar on the Magix loops and he would be pleased with what you have done here. You gave his guitar plenty of room to breathe. You might not know how to play an instrument, but you definitely know how to arrange a great song. Terrific effort.

I've put together a zip file with over 500 of my loops (all royalty free and yours if you want). It's a big zip file - 1.2gb - but you might find something you can use in there. Here is the link to pick them up:
