on Being from a VacUUmeD similar to my being Behnam by deciBel
My brother Benham, there are times when the student teaches the professor a few things about this thing we call music.....

and this is one of those times.

There are no words to adequately describe what you have done here. I think Janis said it best, "I can almost feel your soul in my hands as I'm listening to this exceptional beauty."

This is truly a masterpiece in every way possible. I thank you for sharing this with all of us. I hope all is well with you.

My lovely Brother , Bear , before evertything wish U'll excuse me for latency about reply about this one .

Wow

Wow

Wow again.....absolutely love the quality of your voice. For your first jazz tune, you really knocked it out of the park. Exceptional work. You are more than welcome to anything I have on my page (not sure I have anything worthy).

Fantastic work. I look forward to many, many more from you. Great backing track as well.

My brother Behnam, I would not change a thing on this one. It is absolutely perfect. I have visions of the Grand Bazaar in Tehran when I listen to this.

You have such a unique and wonderful style with all of your music. Just when I think I have you figured out, you go another direction and show me another facet of your musical talents.

Really well done Behnam. A song for the ages. I hope all is well.

on Speechless by Mahloo13
Malu, it is amazing how your unfinished works often sound better than the "finished tracks" offered up by most of us. It really is a shame that you guys could not revisit this one and really polish it up. It has huge potential. Perhaps someday both of you will get a break and be able to finish it. Even so, a most enjoyable listen.

It's good to see you posting some tracks again. I hope all is well.

Mr. Morgan, thank you for the kind words, you are being way to generous with them.

We did talk with RarCharm a lot back then about it. It would have been nice if the whole idea would have became reality.

I'm glad you've enjoyed it and thank you once again for the review!

Best wishes!

on Let me be the one - featuring Patricia Edwards by RichieWinn
Richie it is great to see you back and even better, you bring an amazing song with you.

It's hard to describe just how good this one is. So I think the best thing I can do is sit back, grab another cup of coffee, and hit replay.

You and Patricia really should hit the road together. This is absolute perfection. Kudos to both of you. Another great song by two of the Loop's finest!!

I hope all is well. Thanks for the download as well :)

Yo Bear!

It's good to be here and thanks for the welcome back. It's always a great pleasure working with Patricia and this collaboration developed slightly differently than previous ones. Very much a voyage of discovery! Thanks for the comments and if we do ever get on the road together I'll let you know (bit difficult but who knows?).

Regards

on The Moorlough Shore - The Furknight Remix by sigmamanone
I think the true test of how good a song is this simple question -

Would I put my hard earned cash down for a copy....

and in this case I would happily buy this one. Top shelf material. Everything from the guitar to the vocals is perfect. Fantastic job!

on Shameless by Maxomunz
Hey bro, it sounds really good. Love the chopped up piano loop of Martin's. I look forward to someone adding vocals to it. As it stands now, it gets a little repetitive towards the end.

Nice mix, with really good balance. All in all I would say you have a real winner here. Hope all is well.

Maxomunz
Maxomunz replied 23rd Apr 2013 - 12 years ago
Thanks for the comment. I was thinking of adding more towards the end but was afraid it would be a bit too much for a vocalist. If it hadn't been for your second pair of drums near the end it probably would have ended up bland, so I gotta thank you for that.

Great job gents!!!

Man that piano is so good!

This version is as good or better than the original. Hopefully someone throws down the vox for this one. Until then it works quite nicely as an instrumental.

Killer guitar solos, oh man James, they are so good!!

And that drum work on the outro, holy cow!!!!

A tip of the hat to all involved. AWESOME!!

I'm on the road listening to this on laptop speakers, but it sounds pretty good to me. Great track and it is like everything was planned out for ahead of time. Seemless in every way. Outstanding effort Colin. It would be amazing to have you and Minette in the studio at the same time....I think the results would be spectacular.

Mr. Brown, this one is as smooth as 21 year old Glengoyne Scotch...and believe me when I say that puts you in good company.

Beautiful keyboard work on this one, with a mix that matches the performance.

Great way to wind down at the end of the day. Well done.

I listened to your other version of this first, then came to this one...wow, what a huge difference a good mix and master makes.

All of you have mad skills, and I really enjoyed this track.

on an Instrumental hymnography by deciBel
Behnam my brother, what a great track. It reminds me of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young in a way, and a bit like the Eagles as well (the chorus on the guitar is outstanding). It would be spectacular with vocals on it, but it is really, really good as it is.

I absolutely love the flute (memories of Jethro Tull).

I have to say this is a 10 out of 10 my friend. Fabulous work. I hope all is well. I added this to my favorites list, and downloaded to enjoy again and again (thanks for that)!!

wow dear adapt Bear ,I've learned alot here from my looperman family her,in this virtual world that is quite real for me , and you & your loops have been one of my best teachers in this recent year .do you know in all the years that I've tried to composed(since I was 14-till now that I'm 33yrs old ) ,I have never used no one loops,or no one Idea,no one musical thoughts,as much as I've used your golden loops (althought you have never heard my tracks which are made by your various loops) ,or even you may laugh to me if I tell you first time & by one of your golden loops in Bm that I found it about 6 months ago ,I discovered that there's something names ( Rhodes )which I've ever heard its sound but I didn't know its name & then I worked & studing about rh0des for 3months to use it , I'm sure you even can't guess how much you have learned me all over of this recently year(2012&these3months; of2013) & it's why you're only man I've call him adapt(& I don't know how I should call my teacher in english) cause how you may know I have never had any teacher about music in all this 19years that I've played some instruments),althought you've never known it.and else & beside dear adapt Bear, no doubt such amateur & experimental musician like me , never could be like thse great artists who you've written their name , for example althought you may hear flutes sound in my various trials, but funny if I say I've never seen any flutes (the same how I've never seen most of the Instruments that you play, like sax, trumpeth,or most of the other brass instruments) . I just try to composed by their sound , by converting various keys & using all my engineering mathemathical functions, althought it's not enough when you have never seen(or hear from near)some Instruments ,just bcause of being born in primitivism of middle east between muslim people who sometimes seems that they can close their brain, like their eyes(hahaha).
any way It would be honoured for me to see one of my most favorites artists in looperman, and one of 2 men that I've download most of their tracks in here ( U + beside the dancer finger Ed Cunningham-two artists that I've downloaded most tracks from their tracks ) has such possitive comments about any of my trials . & beyond the music it's such a good feeling(with proud) for me that I don't think to can describe it , when you call me brother .
about vocal line I'm agree with you, think it wouldn't be completed till there's not any vocal line, but my problem is this that I have various lyrics but all in my motherhood language. also I think this timing(5':15'')for such track is a little long.
my greatest appreciation about your such kind words which encourages me , wish all the bests for you .greates regards.__Behnam .

Thank you Bear! I'm really glad you liked it, and even happier that you'd try to put vox ón it. That'll be neat I bet. It took forever to get to here, and I might still feel the need to turn a knob here and there. The piano is not mine to take crédit for. I only arranged and mixed it. I wish it was though :-P
