Its only just occured to me that I haven't actually listened to your tracks despite knowing about you as a member for about 10 months.. glad to say I finally got round to take a listen.

This track is amazingly relaxing, great strings, nice fx's in the background, it all flows together really well and you've done a really good job here.

I can't really point out much for improvement either, which is always a good thing.

Nice job, I doubt this will be the last track of yours I review!

on Words for Thought (Feat Thezerit) by yeshintae
Great rhodes and chimes at the start, nice bass, great vocals from thez, nice sounding drumloop.

Really chilled out, I think the sounds used here are great, nice melodies all overlapping each other, sounds really professional.

Fav'd from the start of the vocals and downloaded.
A seriously amazing track.. now you just need to collab with Butcha, Thez and coney all at once to make an awesome explosion of musical creativity.

on Pendulum The Island remix excerpt by victormusic01x
Love the drum patterns in the start, this remix is full to the brim with energy and musical creativity. Nice bass sound and sweeps, I like the way the synth lead comes in as well, sounds like the sort of thing you'd hear on an album. I like the way the vocals fitted around the bass as well, I'm surprised this didn't get a runner up.

I would have liked to have seen the bass change when the chorus came in though, that would have made it better in my opinion.

Nice remix of a good song!

Wow, really nice track here. I like the bass, nice drum pattern, good sample with reverb on it. Nice kick too, but I think perhaps making it more punchy would be a good idea. Great vocal sample followed up by a great bass sequence, nice arcade like lasor sounds in the background. As JohnB mentioned earlier, the transitons are great. Kind of reminds me of Benny Benassi in the sense that the bass is awesome and the robot vocals come in just before you add the bass.

Not much to say on this one in terms of improvement.

Fav'd again, and downloaded it, very well produced!

I thought that as you'd reviewed two of my tracks, I thought I'd take the time to sit down and listen to a couple of yours.

I would like to say that everyones been focusing on your reviews, to me it doesn't matter much, but just to say, be careful what you say to some people. Its fine to give an expireienced musician some criticism, but younger musicians and people who are new to making music might take offense, but I'm not going to complain, because you've definatly done a lot on this site in a short space of time, which is more than I can say about myself.

Getting on to your track however, I really like the drums, however, I felt that a few things were needed to improve it. I think the drums needed some more reverb on them, just to make the track flow, but the bass has something of a glitch about it, and if it wasn't for the consistency of the drumloop I'd have classed this track as IDM. The bass itself could be improved with a really deep sub-bass underneath the one you currently have, and I think maybe adding a punchier kick and a sidechain to the bass from that kick would be a good idea.

But this is a really nice track to listen to, very well composed, and I think that I'm going to listen to another one of your tracks now, beacuse you've definatley made a good first impression on me with this track.

Fav'd.

Everyone focused on my reviews? where is this?
With the limit on how many uploads are allowed per week IT limits me to what I can put up.
Thanks for your feedback that is why I post tracks up in the first place. I can only hope to see more reviews from you.

on DEEP ORCHESTRA BEAT (DEMO VER) by yeshintae
Love the strings and chimes, its thanks to you that I feel I'm going to do well with my orchestra recognition. Love the trumpets as well, the drums are really powerful, but not overpowering so that the rest of the track is distorted.

It seems you've been putting in so much effort into your track recently, and I can really see it paying off. The only problem is is that I still have no new tracks up because I'm spending too much time listening to all the ones you've sent me ;)

Fav'd, yet again.

on Big Bad Bass by ChrissG
I like the sound of the strings, nice bass too, like the sweeps in there chris, like the drumloop and how penetrating it is. Something destructive about this track. The bass is fantastic, must have taken a while to get that right.. or maybe dubstep basses come naturally to you?

Nice track Chris, really like how destructive this track is, like the drums and bassline are cutting into the strings.

on EPIC VIOLIN (WITH ORCHESTRA) BEAT by yeshintae
Love it.

The violin line is perfect, the drumloop and bass compliment it perfectly, even without mastering. The background strings are also fantastic. I really like this, I can see this bieng used in movies, adverts, TV shows, maybe even a game. This is VERY high quality stuff here yesh, one of the best I've heard from you. As for advice, may I reccomend a high violin solo or a piano? They would also work well alongside this track.

Also, lyrics are a good idea, but lyrics are easy with fl, just slap them over the top.

Fav'd from when the drums first came in, amazing track yesh, really hope you do more to it.

on Mind Grenade by CrashTheSystem
Really like the descending synth in the start, nice punchy kicks, nice sounding arps as well, I also really like the way that the hats only come in only on a few bars at first. Nice wobblesynth too, sounds really great, Lfo on the cutoff, right?

The vocals added a nice build too, but I was a bit unsure about them.

Nice bongo loop too :D

All in all, a good song!

Really like the snare hits in the beginning, nice drum loop too, don't really need to say much about the main loop as its Yesh's :P I really like the scratches too.

What I really like about this track is that you keep changing the drum loop, which is something I struggle to do.

Great job!

on Salvation by yeshintae
I really like the sound of that piano, really nice ambience in the intro, the kick is perfectly volumed, the buildup is nice, the whole track flows together really well, and I really think you need someone to rap over this one. I would volunteer.. but I think I'd sound bad and no-one would be able to take this great track seriously.

Fav'd from the moment the drums came in.

on Am I Me(John Boutilier Lyrics Mix) by JohnAidan
Really like the intro, the echoing claps sounded fantastic, Eshars vocals worked with the song, I loved the trancebass too, sounded really good, sounded like such an emotional song, really like the drums. I really like the pads too, sounded like a great thing. I think a supersaw pad may have fitted the song better at parts.

but all in all this is a very well composed track, beautiful blend of sounds, and its a great track!

Nice one!

Ste :)

Great intro, loved the kick great use of FX and synths, I feel like the synths could have used a lowpass introduction though as they seem to come in just a tiny bit too quickly, however the track sounds very nice, great drumloop too, nice bass, and really liking the lead too.

Nice job!

on End of Seasons by Cybertooth
The intro piano sounded great, fantastic intro to your song there Cyber, I loved the drumloop, it was relaxing yet crazy, and when the disharmonic piano came in at parts it really added a different creepy element to the song. When the pads and fx came in it took the track in a completely different direction, almost in a creepy way.

I loved the choir, it was also creepy, and the piano seemed happy which seemed to really blend the emotions there. In a way, the darker section seemed to be like it was going to get worse before it got better (in terms of the emotion, not the song itself).

Nice one Cyber, and thanks for the add on Facebook!

I loved the guitar in the intro to this, and the way that all the sounds blended, I loved the strings as well, the drumloop was something different as well, nice :)

I think you did a great job with everything here, loved the synth that came in at 1:29, as oasis said, this needs vocals more than any other song I've heard, the backwards FX sounded great, and I loved the bongoline!

Again, Great work!

on Trance For Life by JoyfulWAVE
I love the intro sound, great bunch of sounds, kind of reminds me of above and beyond, especially the bass. The high notes sound awesome, the vocals were nice, added to the build of the track. The arps/second high notes sounded awesome, again reminding me of A%B. The melody was really nice as well, you've clearly spent a lot of time on this track, and it all sounds really nice. I think maybe a full vocal with an actual verse and maybe a pad breakdown would help to improve this track.. supersaw pads always have a great trance atmosphere about them and can really make the vocals sound so much better, so maybe look into that, but its a great track and not much else can improve it to me.

But nice song, I can see why its one of your faviroutes!

Well you can thank Bilbozo for this review after mentioning it breifly on his radio show (Great job there by the way bil!)

I really love everything about this track, nice playing from PJB, great guitarwork, a faviroute from me for certain. Really relaxing track, whether or not you intended it to be I don't know, but I know for sure I could listen to this for hours. I love it, especially the backwards guitar parts (they are backwards aren't they?).

So a quick recap. Awesome, Fav'd, Download.

I loved the intro, it all flows together and builds up really well, Maybe make the synth that comes in on the second verse a little quiter cos it kind of sounds like its louder than it should be, and it partially drowns out the vocals.

I'll save the rest of my review for the full thing, let me know when you update, preferably through the contacts page or in a reply.

But nice song so far!

on reCycling - Incandescent Shivaism by n0mad23
I loved the middle eastern intro with the Dhol drums and sitar sound, it might be something else, but It sounded like it to me. I get excited when I see a new song from you and this is the reason why, the track flows together really well, and is just generally relaxing. I agree with The_Acidizer, I listened all the way to the end, and I like the last line of the description that it is a recycled cosmic dance, it seems to fit your track pretty well.

As always, great job Nomad!

Ste :)
n0mad23
n0mad23 replied Unknown
The first tablas you hear are from Deepest India sample pack, and the second to enter are mine (pics of the set in my pics). I think they still need to be arranged better. The sitar sound is actually the free VSTi Alieno that I've manipulated with other VSTs. I was actually shooting for a Far East sound at least in the beginning due to the nod to Shiva as a reflection of recycling principals. Of course, Shiva is also the Lord of the Dance, so I was really happy to see the girls in my house bopping to it while I was putting it together. I think it's off to a good start, and I'm probably the most curious of all to see where it ends up! Thanks for the encouraging review Ste!
