Nice sounding drums and bass at the start. Has a really great energetic feel to it. The gated lead melody sounds nice too. The closed hats seem to be at just the right volume: not too loud or too quiet. The reverse crash felt like it cut off too soon, and I think would have been better if it had a regular crash placed immediatly afterwards.
The pads in this sound nice too. I liked the sound of the piano too.

A really enjoyable listen.

Nice sounding kicks snares and bass in the start. The piano sounded quite good, but I think it needed a little delay and reverb just to fill out the space a little bit. The bass drops were awesome though. The subtle wobbles were pretty awesome as well. Definatly an enjoyable listen, keep it up!

Thanks so much for your review! That's a good idea about delay and reverb on the piano part. Glad you liked the drops and bass! I really appreciate you listening and commenting!

I like the sound of this. Nice sounding synths at the start. I agree with the first guy, having a harder kick with more space inbetween it would suit a lot a better than having a lot of little ones. The vocals and pads sound nice though, as does the sitar. Some pretty good snare rolls in there too.

I really like the sound of this Alivid. The drums sound fantastic, the phaser actually really works well with them. The background synths fit in really well with the bass and drums, and it feels like it all fits together, without anything sticking out. The strings in the middle sounded fantastic, love the way that the drums were then re-introduced.

Really high quality track here 'Livid, I enjoyed the listen!

Nice one, really like the clangs at the start. Fantastic strings and drums, nice bass, everything seems really well mixed together, and the song doesn't clip at all.
Really well produced!

Forgot to listen to it before :P

Really like the drum. The snare sound is perfect. The hats sound nice as well. The clangs and subtle bass sound are really well put together. The vocal sample fits, but I think it needs some more effects on it, just to make it a little nicer to listen to. I suggest Vocodex's drum presets, along with dblue glich in a send channel.
The little arp melody and rhodes(?) sound really nice as well.
I like the drum drop out and sudden dark change. It has almost an IDM/Glitch feel to it, the returning drums sound great too.

Nice job rolla!

Didn't know that I put it up for download, lol. I actually had a vocalist ready and forgot to make it, but this is pretty damn awesome. Nice sounding lyrics, great sounding voice.
This came completely as a surprise though, still glad you did this. Just make sure that you ask permission next time, in case you end up infringing copyright. I don't mind, but other people might so make sure you contact them on their profile before uploading the song.

Anyways, I really like this, good job friend!

Figured I'd take a listen after seeing your forum posts.

The strings at the start sound quite nice, and have a nice progression, but feel like they could use some reverb to make it flow a little better. The drone synth sounds really nice, as do the synth melodies. Try using a different drum to claps, because they don't really fit in songs like this unless heavily effected by the mixer. Judging from the vocal sample you are an FL user, as are most people on this site, so I'm certain you'll be able to get help on how to add effects.

Its a nice sounding track, but I think it needs a few more things in the background to make it better.

on Even a bit More - Ioka Flow by Ioka
Nice sounding track, has a nice tribal feel to it. Nice sounding drums and opening synths, the bass drop after the build was great, but felt like it was a little too early and perhaps should have been bought in a little later on. Really liked the piano melodies and the drop out-drop in, great sounding composition!

donno about the first drop need to keep the song in a certain time means to make it not longer than 4 or 5 mins also the 4 or 8 bars scheme needs to be retained otherwise its not really danceable and lost its flow you know what i mean^^

Love the sounds in the start. Fantastic guitar and drums. Nice sounding pad effects too. You're a crazy person Alivid, you know that? This song is so energetic, destructive, and crosses so many genre boundaries, but I geuss you know that already.

Hah! Thanks man! Yeah I have been really working on this one the most lately..

I am still really not pleased with it just yet.. It's like one of those tracks where I change one level and then everything is out of wack!
Lotsa side-chaining.

The bass and cymbals need some love... sigh
I balanced the mix offa Pendulums - Self vs. Self (ft In Flames) Good God do I love the compression on that monster track.

Thanks Stephen! I need to stop by, it's been awhile

Thank you tho!

Great sounds here! The opening sounds are awesome, nice sounding drums, nice deep bass and rhodes sounds. Great flow from Chase, hope more people hear this one, it's not getting the attention it deserves at the moment. Hopefully you can update it with new vocals, that might get it more listens.

Awesome piano by the way.

Hey Ste, glad to see you're enjoying the song! Took me a while to get everything right! I was going to for a sad depressed vibe and i wanted it to be gritty and really deep. Good to see I satisfied those conditions! Thnx for the continuous support! Unfortunately I lost the file for the beat and I cant find it. So no new vocals, sorry :(

Thnx for the listen! I appreciate it a lot.

on 21 ideas for an Intro by Phyruis
Sorry for not reviewing earlier, my computer hates me.

This has a nice futuristic feel to it, while yet at the same time creepy, kinda like it belongs in that film "signs". The chime sounds are very creepy, nice sounding tribal drums too. Love the vocal sample and the delay that goes along with it, definatly something creepy. Don't listen to it in a dark room with headphones though, a lot of the time it made me feel like someone was gonna come up behind me with a knife.

Great job Phyruis!

Really like the synth and guitar choices, the piano is nice sounding. Really like the drums too. Like yesh, I really like the bass drop, cause its hearable through headphones (and DEFINATLY through speakers :D) which is something much bass isn't.

Nice one 9r!

Really like the pads, I think they need a little reverb without any dry volume though, or an increase on the attack, because they click a bit at the start. Kinda hard to notice it through the drums though. The piano sounds nice, could use a little more of a decay. The bass sounds good though. Really like the arp melody that comes in after a while too.

Really nice relaxed dnb.

Damn, sorry to hear about getting stuck in jail :/
Found out last year, forgot to check out your profile, and now I've suddenly remembered.

So.. on to the review.

Nice blend of melodies in the start, great choice of sounds, the half tempo drumloop in the middle suited the track really well, sounds really well done, great arrangement, can't spot any flaws in this track.

The 8 bit sounds in the start seem to stand out a little. I'd lower the volume of the chiptune synth just so it flows along with the chime melody a little more smoothly.

The drum pattern and bass sound quite nice together, and the additional 8 bit sounds sound quite nice as well.

Theres a lot of room for improvement in this track though, and I'd say a lot of that lies in the mixing and mastering. The first snare hit sounds fine, the second reverb snare however seems to be a little to over powering. Lower the volume on the that a little, and that will be one step in the right direction. Try and get your volumes so that it doesn't make the meter doesn't go into the red area/doesn't hit the top of the meter.

Follow Shortbusmusic's advice, he seems to be able to explain it better than I can.

I know I went a little negative in my review but don't worry, its a good track, you just need to learn to mix and master a little better. I can't really suggest how to do it, bieng as I'm not amazing at it myself, but if it feels like everything flows smoothly and you can hear all the sounds you put into the song clearly, then you've probably done a good job.

About the negative aspect of it, It´s all cool. I know how to take it the right way, as long as critique is sincere it´s always helpful in some way you know. :)

I figured I'd review one of your tracks after you reviewed one of mine.

The piano intro to this sounds really nice. The sweeps build it up and prepare you for the drums and bassline that follow. The synth bell/chime sounds really nice and gives the track an extra layer of relaxing-ness to it, in a way. Definatly something I would listen to while traveling. The snare seems to be panned off to the left, I suggest you get that centred, because it sounds a little wierd only coming out of one side of the headphone. Either that, or make it so it pans from left to right on every hit.

This is a good track though, nice job!

yesh... this is awesome.

The piano has a creepy-wintery feel to it. The drums are nice, sounds like a lot of sampler channels there yesh. Nice sounding strings accompanying everything else adds another layer to a track.

Somewhat dark for a Christmas track, but it still is really good to listen to.

Great Job yesh!

on Come Back Down feat K Dilemma - Chill Out by JoyfulWAVE
Nice chilled out drumloops, liked the background synth layers. I think that it still retains that element that makes it a joyfulwave track, even when its slowed down. The vocal delay really adds to more of a chilled out layer..

Really like this, WAY different from your normal stuff but it still got that element that makes it your own track.

So I like your dance stuff. I like the metal crossever stuff. And now I like your chillout stuff too.

Great job joyful!

Love the bass on this, nice sounding drumloop as well. Nice bunch of synth leads as well thrown into this track, as spivkurl already said, the title fits this track perfectly.

Nice sounding secondary lead arp as well, nice way of switching the track up.
