The way its going, I might actually end up using this one. I'm normally decent with making my own percussion, but nothing I make seems to fit the track xD
Oh yeah, I know what you mean... I have been personally really battling that in a certain way.
I already almost KNOW how everything I do is going to sound when I start recording, so I get really frustrated and bored when it becomes predictable...
It reminds me of the dayz when I was in bands, and I always fed off of that synergy, and surprise you get from working with other people (or for this site's case --- Loops).
But yea.. I will make some more and post them up later on!
Definatly the sort of thing my track needs. In all honesty, I'm not at all happy with my drumloop, and I'm probably gonna try and make something like this, the pattern I used was WAY too generic and over-used.
I like the sound of it though, even if you don't.
It was a generic pattern, but I really liked your pattern tho... I felt it BIG time. Please let me know when you get any further? I would loooove to see how the track progresses!
This sounds really nice, good quality, I might see if I can use this in a track, Probably won't be able to use it as a solo lead but I might be able to use it as an effect or to add another layer to a track.
Nice recording and playing here Thethanx, I'll let you know if I use it.
Sounds great, might work alongside some other things in a house track in an intro perhaps? I'll try it out, see what I can do and post again if I get the track up later.
Just ignore them. I think the quality of this loop may be better if you stand a little further away from the mic. If the best insult they can come up with is "gay" then they clearly haven't got many brain cells. Also, how can a loop be gay? Last time I looked, loops were genderless.
Sorry about the raving there, but these two are just arrogant and I hate it when people call a song/loop gay, because they probably cant do better.
So my advice is get a better microphone and maybe keep your distance. A quiet loop is better than a louder one, ok?
This sounds really good, but I dont think Im going to be using it unless I run out of Ideas for my own pads. Thanks for the upload though, because this does sound nice.
