Ha I remember this one a while back. How you been Stephen? Hope everything is good. Nice ambient chill vibes mixed with a minimal roll of dnb. Not too shabby. Great work, hope to see you around. peace!
Mate sorry for not reviewing any tracks of late, but was of site for a long time, due to personal reason's which is explained in a link on one of my tracks, mate loving this DnB very easy on the ear, relaxing but also has a nice groove to make you move some, not a genre I know to much about, have just done my second ever attempt at the genre, after listening to yours my one sounds a little lame compared to yours, excellent listen matey, hope you been keeping well over there...Fav'd...Peace dude...Mosaic...
I like the pauses, but they feel just a tiny bit too long sometimes. Aside from that, this has some nice elements! Keep doing what you do. Peace n Love Audiotism
Where ya been, living life? lol Good to see ya back and posting songs. This is nice, cool vibe, sweet sounding synths and a nice beat. Mix sounds good.
Hey man, very nice to see a familiar face around here amongst all the newcomers. I've been busy with school and thus haven't really had the time to either contribute to this site through text nor create the audio that I'd like to upload. As for the guitar thing, I'm still practicing on a frequent basis although I rarely get time to record it.
Thanks for droppin by though, I'll do the same for you mate :)
Nice comeback track here ste. Dig the guitar mixed in with the bongos. Goes together very well with other sounds too. Tad too short though, definitely could grow into something more. Good chill out stuff here. peace!
Sorry for the late reply, hadn't realized you'd commented, stupid spam filters. Immensely glad you liked the track, working on it a lot now, hoping to have it uploaded and updated pretty soon :D
Man...I love this one..can`t consider myself a fan of jazz standards but I really like to hear some of the concepts with a modern touch...Would really like to hear you finish this one Stephen...its got a whole lot of promise so if this short piece is any indication you gotta have a good one going...be great if you even mail me for a listen when you do the rest...It`ll be worth it....keep on...Ed
Nice melody, This could actually translate nicely into a drum and bass type thing. I would have liked to have heard a few more instruments coming in but i guess this is ultimately just a demo. Reminds me a little of the Smiths style wise so yeah, looking forward to hearing where this ends up. FR
Stephen my friend there is the genesis of a great track here. Sounds, to me, a bit like Bowie in the Hunky Dory era. Mate stick with this and build on it as I reckon you can use this as the template for something special. Respect to ya mate.
Hey Ste, been a while since I've seen ya. I didn't know you played guitar. I forget to use a metronome all the time, haha. Stinks because you can't go back and add a drum loop unless you get into warping the acoustic track in Ableton or playing it by hand. Not bad at all for a first try. Now you need to add some strings and try your hand at singing. Pretty soon you'll be the next James Taylor. :)
Well I hope you are feeling better, keep on rockin'!
Not been playing for a massive length of time, only really been mucking about with it since late August/early September. As for strings, sure, but I'm gonna pass on the singing. Generally dislike my voice, can't tend to snap to notes properly and miss them by about a quarter of a semitone :P Anyways, as for the whole illness thing, I've been walking myself to school, slowly just recovering from sitting around for pretty much three weeks. Shouldn't be too long till I'm able to pick up my electric (because I don't like to record whilst sitting :P)
Alright mush. Saw you pop up in the featured track section so i thought i'd drop by. Well i have to say this track should have bagged more than just 4 (including this one) measly reviews. It reminds me a little of Milo with regards to the synth lick (except not as boring lol). Nice touch with the vocder and the percussion. A failed collab in this case is a good thing. fr
No idea you'd returned to the site, don't know if you've revealed your identity, but I know who you are. Great to hear from you. Surprised tracks like this are still getting reviewed. Glad you liked it, but even at the time I felt that this was just far too simplistic... meh. Glad that people like it though. I'll get back to reviewing, ASAP. If I've not done it in about two days, let me know, cause I may have forgotten :P
once again, great atmos, its relaxing. however the bongo's you added are offkey somehow.. try to do something with them pitch knob(s). its a ffing sh*t job to do, but if you get them right it feels so much more natural rather then just "alright lets add some bongo's" if you get what i mean that is..
anyways, still a great job man i look forward hearing more from you!
Wow man!!..this is really good,i mean REALLY good..not often i enjoy drum n bass, but i played this twice,so i guess i enjoyed it!.shame about the no DL tho, maybe when finished? Keep it up
nice mix of ambience and drum and bass. Your really good at the chilled stuff. Got a relaxed yet could quite easily dance to if I wanted to rhythum. Like it alot :) d^_^b
Cheers, I just can't force myself to make agressive stuff, don't know why, I really wanna do a traditional-ish DnB track but everything I make turns out like this.
Yea man luvin the finished version man. Vocals tie it well and synth and effects working give it a lush funky liquid groove fella. sounds like it could be on the cover of a cool d+b band album. Nice 1 d^_^b
