on Katie Dilemma - Come back down(Acoustic Mix) by JohnAidan

I really like this one, slow and with a gentle. The voice works well with the acoustic set up.
One of the acoustic guitars doesn't sound that well, a boomy sound that brings down the impression slightly. An eq-thing maybe.
Having said that: the track is really good.

I appreciate the compliments on that. I'd love to do a collaboration with anyone so that'd be fantastic :D. It is gonna have to wait a bit though as I'm sick and my voice is pretty bad right now lol. But I will DEFINITELY keep that offer in mind :D

Your guitar is on fire and the drumming is flaming too! Some parts of the drumtrack sounds like Bill Bruford goes heavy metal.

p.s. The cymbals sounds a bit over the top i my head set Ã¢â‚¬â€œ like a lo res mp3. Does not change the fact that I'm a bit envious of your skills.

Thanks Kikajon, ever since I got the EZdrummer software, I have finally been able to record the songs I have in my head. I'm not limited to the simple 4/4 timing found in most loops. I did notice that when mixed down to mp3, you do get a pretty big fidelity loss on the cymbals and hi hats. But the WAV file sounds great. I would absolutely recommend EZdrummer to anyone wanting that real sound for drum tracks. You should check out the youtube videos of people using EZdrummer and the Drums From Hell expansion; really cool stuff.

I love this, the blend and true musicianship shining. I find it interresting and thrilling, like a journey in tones.
I wonder a bit about the drums, they don't sound as solid as I hoped for, sounds a bit distorted and a little too bright.
Having said that, great playing and I find myself a bit envious of your talent.

So we meet up again. I think I'll probably be answering your comments for a couple weeks! LOL

Anyways, I didn't have a title for this song so I just chose Rock-Made in Japan. More of a general comment, I suppose since a lot of our things in the USA come from Japan and China....music items as well.

Hello again Kikajon,

Thanks for reviewing this country tune. Chicken pickin style takes a while to learn. Basically using at least 3 fingers, including the thumb and using a Fender Telecaster to get the best sound.

I love this style of music and will do another of this type after I finish the classic rock tune I have started.
I'll listen to your music and give a review(s) back as well.

Thanks for reviewing 3 of my tunes thus far. I am not on here as much as I was because of work. But that is fortunately slowing down....as far as overtime I mean....so I will have more time to devote to music.
If you read my profile, then you know I can play several instruments, and if you'll look at my gallery (Pictures) then you'll see the instruments as well.
I play a variety of music with my own style, and also with the big help of loops I piece together to make a song. I don't play nor own drums so I usually use these: www.betamonkeymusic.com

I am using Protools software as well and that puts everything together, and I usually also do my own mastering. Sort of a jack of all trades in the music end.
At the moment, I am working on a classic rock type of tune. Even tho I am OLD, I still love rock.

Later, and thanks again for reviewing my songs.
I hope you'll enjoy most of them.

Not what I usually listen to but this is a really nice tune, excellent performed and I really like the way you treat your voice Ã¢â‚¬â€œ sometimes the tone reminds me of Shakira.

Vicen, you bring Sweet, sweet sounds. Definately a track in my taste.
Even if it sounds like an All along the watchtower laid back version, I think you did wonderful track with beautiful guitars and an excellent vocal performance.

This is rather good, some really, really nice parts. The first piano and guitar blew me away.
Now, for some critique: This sounds like you had a lot of ideas and laid the out in a line Ã¢â‚¬â€œ I wish you'd saved some of them for another tune. The themes are really good but they deserve to get their own song, if you see what I mean.

I really think you're a talent and I hope you don't get this wrong. I do think this is something good that has the potential of greatness.
