Thanks Kikajon! I have some major work to do on completing this one. I haven't decided what direction to take the rest of the song yet. It may also be a while before I can complete it due to having to go to work and attending college classes at the same time. But, I should find the time to get it done sometime in the next two months. Thanks for fav-ing man!
Sweet track, nice arrangement. I like your voice and I think you use it nicely but I'd like it more in the center, the pan is a bit to far out to one side. A small matter, it's a great song.
Keep'em coming

p.s. Jag såg att du är ganska ny på sajten,
Välkommen till Looperman.
Thank you. We love making up and recording a song a week. I am listening to some of your tracks and you are amazing. So, getting a compliment coming from you....I am the lucky one for sure.
Great song and what can I say but: excellent!
Man, you shine and you're one of my favourite singers and the one of the best here at looper. period.

I dig your voice and the tune is pretty good. I think it could gain a much with a sharper production: a new mix, better balanced volumes etc.
keep 'em coming.
/pmk
Thank you very much for you review, thats what I was thinking Id need to improve my production and sound quality, you know those volumes really take time, but Ill try, theres no excuses
I really like this one, slow and with a gentle. The voice works well with the acoustic set up.
One of the acoustic guitars doesn't sound that well, a boomy sound that brings down the impression slightly. An eq-thing maybe.
Having said that: the track is really good.
Cheers
/pmk
I appreciate the compliments on that. I'd love to do a collaboration with anyone so that'd be fantastic :D. It is gonna have to wait a bit though as I'm sick and my voice is pretty bad right now lol. But I will DEFINITELY keep that offer in mind :D
This is great! Smooth and I dig the bass line and those guitars. All in all, an excellent track, I'll think I'll download it. It's a fav. Great job.

Thanks Kikajon, ever since I got the EZdrummer software, I have finally been able to record the songs I have in my head. I'm not limited to the simple 4/4 timing found in most loops. I did notice that when mixed down to mp3, you do get a pretty big fidelity loss on the cymbals and hi hats. But the WAV file sounds great. I would absolutely recommend EZdrummer to anyone wanting that real sound for drum tracks. You should check out the youtube videos of people using EZdrummer and the Drums From Hell expansion; really cool stuff.
I like this, spaced out and yet incredible presence. The bass is suggestive and when the guitars break in, I felt you took it all the way home.
Cheers

Again, you prove that you're a master. It sounds like you had some fun recording and the groove addictive. I really like those harmonies towards the end. You have your own sound and frankly; you have your own leage too.

Hi
I love this, the blend and true musicianship shining. I find it interresting and thrilling, like a journey in tones.
I wonder a bit about the drums, they don't sound as solid as I hoped for, sounds a bit distorted and a little too bright.
Having said that, great playing and I find myself a bit envious of your talent.
Take care

So we meet up again. I think I'll probably be answering your comments for a couple weeks! LOL
Anyways, I didn't have a title for this song so I just chose Rock-Made in Japan. More of a general comment, I suppose since a lot of our things in the USA come from Japan and China....music items as well.
Thanks for reviewing this country tune. Chicken pickin style takes a while to learn. Basically using at least 3 fingers, including the thumb and using a Fender Telecaster to get the best sound.
I love this style of music and will do another of this type after I finish the classic rock tune I have started.
I'll listen to your music and give a review(s) back as well.
Hey. This is so not my genre but I can really appreciate this tune. You've created a sweet and beautiful piece that is nothing but excellent. Thank you.
/pmk
Thanks for reviewing 3 of my tunes thus far. I am not on here as much as I was because of work. But that is fortunately slowing down....as far as overtime I mean....so I will have more time to devote to music.
If you read my profile, then you know I can play several instruments, and if you'll look at my gallery (Pictures) then you'll see the instruments as well.
I play a variety of music with my own style, and also with the big help of loops I piece together to make a song. I don't play nor own drums so I usually use these: www.betamonkeymusic.com
I am using Protools software as well and that puts everything together, and I usually also do my own mastering. Sort of a jack of all trades in the music end.
At the moment, I am working on a classic rock type of tune. Even tho I am OLD, I still love rock.
Later, and thanks again for reviewing my songs.
I hope you'll enjoy most of them.

Man, what a beautiful waltz with a desert touch and tumble weeds.
It's Quentin all over and I guess Bill better watch out, Beatrix Kiddo wants to get even.
I love the heavy bass and the song – an instant fav. Excellent work, my friend.

Your guitar is on fire and the drumming is flaming too! Some parts of the drumtrack sounds like Bill Bruford goes heavy metal.
It's a fav!

p.s. The cymbals sounds a bit over the top i my head set – like a lo res mp3. Does not change the fact that I'm a bit envious of your skills.
Edit: Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.
