hey L, this is a wonderful track for the matthew album, love the piano and the lyric. As spiv said, this moves...
btw, How is the album coming along?
/pmk
Thanks for the kind words.
Album will be released on Friday 5 Nov.The nerves are kicking in!I only hope Matthew would approve....
release date changed to end November as some tracks were not ready to go
This song reminds me of one of my favourites from the later part of the seventies, The Alan Parsons Project. A very well put together track (love the japanese touch), vocals and harmonies. Very professional. A fav and dl.
I bow in admiration, dear sirs.

Jamie did a wonderful job playing and arranging the music and the mixing and haven vocals are perfect. I'm very pleased you enjoyed it. Take it easy.

Oh, this is so cool. With lots of air, wonderful production, vocals and harmonies. And I have to admit, the psychedelic touch with some reversed sounds, you had me there. XLNT!
/pmk
thank you for the time to listen and review, im trying to find my level ground still, but im definitely finding out some new methods that work quite well.
Welcome to Looperman, what a great entrance! Nice tune, and I really how you used your voice. If anything, I'd love to hear this tune with a big reggae outfit with a real brass section. :)
Anyway, you got me smiling.
Cheers

The more I use GarageBand I realize how great it is. And this track is evidence enough it really sounds well. I also like the sound of your (?) voice.
Anyway, one think you might consider applying is the AUMulibandCompressor (not the standard compression) effect under the edit tab to even out some of the volume differences in the vocals. It works miracles and I use it quite frequently, vocals just sounds better with it on.
/pmk
Hey man! I like these raw guitars, even if I think the guitars are a bit to much off in the tuning.
Besides that, this reminds me of Niel Young, one of my all time favorites. The vocals works fine, a I lika that nice touch with the strings in the end. Good work!
Cheers
/pmk
Yeah Kikajon,I think too that guitars are out off tune, but I dont have the nerve to play all again.I was in the mood to express that energy and not had enough concentration and will to polish all the details. One day maybe I finish it and correct all the errors.Thank you for you time, and of course your comparison with Niel Young who is also one off my all time favorites...
hey Stina, I like this soundscape and your voice fits right in. I really like the low pitched, semi spoken parts, creates a very special mood. Good stuff.
Ha det gott

Hi, I'm listening on my laptop and the mix feels a bit uneven, or unbalanced. There's something about the drums, I'm not sure. An other go in the mix might do the trick.
Having said that … I really like this song, the voice and the guitar solo is fierce. I think the chorus is great.
Keep it up.
/pmk
I agree completely with your observation. Thats me singing and I don't consider myself a singer. The drums are off I know. As far as the solo goes its Real Strat and Guitar Rig 2 and my Korg M3
Nice, soft track and a great vocals performance. If I could make a suggestion; check the gain settings on the vocals, now it sounds like you're in the red. Maybe try a little compression too.
Having said that, I like your voice. Keep it up!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it and I welcome your inputs. Had great recordingproblems, all solved with a new microphone. I learn more about the software everyday. Yeah, I should do a new recordning... just a little lazy ;)
Hi Emann
Some really good guitar work here, nice chord progression and vocals.
If I may make some suggestions: less reverb effects on the vocals and some of the guitars – it's hard to separate the sounds and it gives an untight feeling. A bit more work on the production would make this song great.
Cheers
/pmk
Update: This second time around it sounds better and I like the lead guitar sound, Les Paul?. Keep it up.
Thanks for the possitive advice. No axcuse, but time always seems te an issue. Lately I've been rushed 'to just get the song finished,' and have permitted things that could have been improved, Maybe I'll edit this and clean it up a bit.
Perfect title for the song, sounds lika a marching tune for some serious head to head battle. Great piece, thrilling and great sound. Well done, keep it up.

Hay Allen. Very sweet playing – there seems to be no limits to your skills. I like this very much, it shows a totally different style than what we do together – and you shine here too. Professional is the word.
/pmk
Thanks Kikajon,I'm afraid I'm showing my age and the fact that I've played covers for 30yrs...lol.
I appreciate the complement and I guess the bottom line is it doesn't matter how you get there as long as you do.I would like to say that I pursued all these different genres but they came to me and it has proven to be an advantage now in collaborating.
Thanks again.
Sweet track, love the guitar sound and the laidback drums (That beat is one of my favourites in GarageBand). The only thing about this track is that it feels a little short…
Great job.
/pmk
That beat is one of my favorites too ... but it is the first time use. I made a small modification, and was very good. Posted on LM to receive some criticism and suggestions, and I was glad you enjoyed . I'm trying to finish this track soon, and I believe the final version had been good. Thank you my friend ....
