Description : Just a simple country waltz featuring a number of instruments, and the main instrument...Pedal Steel guitar. Not an easy instrument to play and certainly not a cheap instrument to buy. Decent new ones start out at around $2,500, but like everything else, if you have the desire, 'you can do it'.
Drums, Fiddle are sample loops. Contains 2 rhythm guitars..one with tremelo. Piano, and the usual Lead, Bass guitar.
Near the end.....they all play at once together.

Hi there, Im a Brit but I lived in Louisiana for many years and just love country, but my accent is obviously not right, so I have some lyrics that would be just right for this track, I wish I could sing like Willie Nelson . Would really like to have a go at it, it has a great sound and the slide is fantastic. Stay safe , take care.

    Hi there codemiester,

I appreciate your comments. Your welcome to put lyrics/vocals to my songs. Here is a country one that a lady on here did. The song is short as it was orginally a 2-part song.

yes sir - I absoulutely love it (and yes my spelling is intentional there) - LOVE it!

and so - that is you playing that steel? Are you avail to add some parts to some of my country tunes?

    Hi again Haven,

Thanks for your nice comments. If you haven't heard any of my music before, then you will be pleasantly surprised by the variety I do.

This waltz was done on a dare by a fellow Looperman last year, to see if I could do one. So this is what I came up with. Some of the parts are loops as I don't play Fiddle or drums.
Any parts that I don't play myself, I always say which parts they are.

I don't play mandolin either, but I do play 5-string banjo....but not that often anymore at my age. Lol

I am retired now and I don't do that much music for others as I am traveling around here and there. I have done a few songs with other folks and it has worked out for the most part.
I am doing a rock song with a fellow from Mexico at the moment.

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate them very much.

Excellent job! A good-sounding country track - not too slow, easy-listening C&W. Folks like myself who like steel guitar as a lead instrument will appriciate your efforts. Layering "live" over the rythym produced a track that ranks right up there with a lot of studio recordings I've heard.

    Hello again Vince,

Thanks for the compliments on this tune as well. In the band I use to play in back in the late 60's-80, we did a variety of music for different audiences...and we usually had to to play several waltzes during the evening.
So it was fun to do here, and to also add in loops of instruments I don't own or play myself...like the fiddle in particular.

I am working on a classic type rock tune now and will do another country one after that.

Take care, and thanks again for listening and reviewing my tunes.

Wow! This track fits perfect with the melody I've been humming for lyrics I wrote!!! Have you collaborated with anyone yet?

    Hi again Geneva,

Thanks for listening to this waltz tune as well. I didn't think that mnay people would like it....being so slow. I don't play my pedal steel as often as I should anymore...or even the 5-String Banjo that took me months to learn. It sits in the closet. ;-)

If you want to try adding lyrics or vocals to it, let me know and I can make it happen, as far as spreading the tune out and making some parts quieter for the voice.

    Hello there Kikajon,

Thanks for reviewing 3 of my tunes thus far. I am not on here as much as I was because of work. But that is fortunately slowing down....as far as overtime I mean....so I will have more time to devote to music.
If you read my profile, then you know I can play several instruments, and if you'll look at my gallery (Pictures) then you'll see the instruments as well.
I play a variety of music with my own style, and also with the big help of loops I piece together to make a song. I don't play nor own drums so I usually use these: www.betamonkeymusic.com

I am using Protools software as well and that puts everything together, and I usually also do my own mastering. Sort of a jack of all trades in the music end.
At the moment, I am working on a classic rock type of tune. Even tho I am OLD, I still love rock.

Later, and thanks again for reviewing my songs.
I hope you'll enjoy most of them.

    Hello again Vicen,

Glad you enjoyed this track. I left you feedback and more on one of your 3 songs I just gave reviews on. Waltz's are usually slow, but not always.
If you go out and play in clubs, you'll eventually be asked to play one during the night.

    Well...... hello there Rei....!

Your right, it has been a long time since we wrote. I see you on Facebook tho still. I guess I am not that great on keeping in contact with everyone I know...so...sorry about me not writing either.
I am on FB, but not that active...playing in the Farmville or Mafia Wars games as most of my friends do.
I don't have that much time to do that these days.

Anyways, I am glad you enjoyed the waltz. I wasn't sure how it would go over as most waltzs tend to be fairly slow and possibly boring. I didn't want that to happen, so that is why there are quite a few different instruments playing.

I have gotten a quite a bit of feedback on it and all is good so far..so I am happy with that. Not sure what I'll do next...possibly another country one as I love the 'Chicken Pickin' sound and I have been practicing that technic lately on my Tele.
Also I have a desire to do another heavy rock tune as well. So we'll see...

Thanks again Rei, and glad your back! I'll now go over and see what you have up new.

Thamks for your review of this waltz tune. I played a lot of them in the band I was in 25 years ago. Now I am just doing music at home myself.
So I am glad you enjoyed it. Sorry for the delay in responding to you. I see you don't have any songs up, so I can't review any of your work. :-(

    Hello there JfW,

Thanks for being my first reviewer. I don't expect to get that many reviews for a waltz. ha ha.
But it was fun to do as I have had several request for one for months. So I am off work this week and decided to fire up the Emmons steel.
Thanks again and glad you liked it!

Description : Here attached is a new country tune I put together using several loops I bought off a disk set. I call it 'Old Tyme Country' as it is close to being Bluegrass as well. (Bluegrass usually has a Mandoline, Fiddle and a 5-string Banjo, and a rhythm guitar at least).

This instrumental features no guitars or regular drums. Rhythm here is provided by a Dulcimer, a Shaker and a drum like instrument called a Djembe. (An instrument from Africa, looking like a tall Bongo drum)

An acoustic stand-up Bass is used along with a 4 string Banjo, and the Fiddle is the main instrument.
Put all these together and this is the sound you can have. Hope you'll like it.

Description : Hi ya,

Well, here is my latest country tune...called "Welcome to Nashville". It is an instrumental. Maybe someone will add vocals to it? Also I added a screenshot of the 'ProTools' program I used to put the song together so you can see what it looks like with in a software program as completed.

The song is uptempo featuring an acoustic guitar for rhythm, also an electric rhythm guitar doing more of a vamping sound to add in fill to the overall rhythm.

Also has lead guitar which is quite busy throughout, and Drums, Bass, fiddle and pedal steel round out the song.

Hope you like it.
