Yes, some country rock!! Loved the first change, great chords!! Sounds like a fun jam, too bad you live so far away cuz I wanted to join in!! Tell your neighbors to learn an instrument and join in!!!
Great intro! What a fiest for the ears, everything about this track I liked! I saw Johnny Cleg and Savuka once and this just brought me back to that show.
Great percussion and vibes and a very nice mix. Excellent job with this Babbba!
Pretty crazy track Donnie, amazing sounds, noises, beats, excellent creativity used here! I could never put something together that was this abstract, great job!
Yep, though that part was thanks mainly to the original artist, Moke. All I did was add to the atmosphere he laid the foundation for. As for doing something like this, sure you could- All you'd have to do is pair up with someone who's rather "Out there". You'll find that the rest falls into place pretty naturally. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Nice collab fellas! I liked the original instrumental so this was def worth checking out. Way to go theThanks on the vocals, interesting reverb you used. I like it guys! Gotta love that flute!!
Thanks humps! The reverb (and actually everything else) was pretty much all dungbeatl. I just sent him raw vox and he did the rest! Thanks for the listen
This tracks is very cool, tons of energy from all directions, the drums, the synths the vocals, the tambo, love the tambo! Great arrangement and mix, I keep laughing everytime that low laugh happens, haha!! Well done Trax!
I've never heard the original version but I certainly think this version is quite good Donnie! I thought the vocal track was cool. I don't think the effects were overdone at all, overall a really cool mix! Well done mate!
Yeah, I def agree. In the email that I tried to shoot TCM when I updated this I said the same thing about the vox. And oddly enough, effects are what helped smooth out the bass I added for this. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
This has a cool 60's vibe going on, been getting into the organ sounds a little more myself so I was really diggin this! Hope you can find the right vocals for it!
Stay Gone, I like the phrase, good theme for a song. Nice collab with all involved. I'm not a big hip hop fan but I liked this, cool vocals all around, interesting music too. Thanks for sharing your music CarmenAlegeria!
I like this, I hope you add some backing harmonies on the update and maybe some latin style guitar to add some spice! Good luck finishing it up and look forward to hearing it complete!
Great job putting this together, the music and vocals are a nice fit. I like the concept, a woman proposing to her man, that's great! Sweet voice, in time you'll upgrade gear and we will hear the full potential you possess!!
Thanks for the thumbs up.I made it with samples that I downloaded here at looperman. I also put together a cool military video to it on youtube. it's under Destruction.
Catchy track, liked the vocals a lot, I'm assuming you are remixing this(with the comments you recieved so far)but the idea is cool. Nice job with this one!
I like the feel of this track, maybe because of the acoustic guitar in it or just the melencholic tone of it but I think this is a real nice piece!
I feel people should focus more on their intent for giving rather than the lack of appreciation from others. Why focus on the negetive when the positive creates happiness rather than misery? And seeing as you can't control what others do or how they react, what is the point of feeling unappreciated. I think it's the wrong way to look at it. :)
Thanks for your review, yes i produced this track using my own experiences in life, and recently observing Minor2Go. I felt that he reminds me a little of myself, giving to help, but not receiving thanks for the effort. I agree with you, giving rather than lack of appreciation from others is a negative feeling. But sometimes, you do feel a little disappointed when this happens to you so many times, makes you wonder if people really don't care anymore.
I think vocals would work on this as well, there has to be an a capella here that would work. Interesting track, nice blend of sounds! Good job billion!
Good to hear from you. I'm glad you liked it. Within the energy of the words I wanted to make the voice was soft. I am very happy that you will have seemed fine.
Cool track I liked it! I would keep working on the mix, in my humble opinion. I would like to hear more seperation in the tracks and maybe a little more movement with the sounds in the stereo field. Things sounded a bit too centered in my headphones. I think it's possible for you to get a fuller mix, is what I'm sayin'.
I do like the idea, don't get wrong, the guitars are cool and the drums smoke! Nice collab!
Hey thanks for the crit man... I hear ya loud and clear. Been dually noted and I will get this fuller sounding soon. I'm also still waiting for more guitar from ALivid. If he sends me some more I'm gonna add some more sounds and tweak out the drums a bit. Then I will remaster this and repost... I appreciate the honest review man...
Thanks mate. Yeah, I've been thinking that too (for a while now actually). Though I left it alone for the most part because I'd really love to hear what other people would do with it, ya know. Speaking of which, lemme know if you do, cool? Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Hey, how ya been, figured I woud swing by and listen in. Hope you find yourself well these days.
This has a nice soothing feel to it. I liked the star treck reference in the last comment, ya, the beginning had that going, haha!! It seemed like when it stopped, you were beginning to go in a different direction with it. Do you plan on finishing it?
If you don't, it's no big deal but I did like what you put together so far.
Hey there Wayne,
Mega problems here, i.e computer crash, more surgery (i'm good - just rebuilding the nose is all ), new security program that forbids my music program to run... or as other people call it - Tuesday...LOL
I was thinking of getting Sony Garage Band - i think that is what it's called. I neeed something new ( and relatively cheap ). I feel the need to create again but anything I try sounds like 3 day old squirrel poop - if it could make a sound.
Oh yes, about that track. I started doing it and I said "dang, that sounds familiar, I wonder where it's from ?" When I received the first review that suggested the Trek ref, I said oh bugger !
