This reminded me of Tubular Bells, very cinamatic I thought. I could hear this in a thriller or a suspense movie. I can see what you trying for here. Nice track Jowe and Navishy!
This is the second time by this song and both times I find myself playing along with the rhythm on my acoustic. Nice little blues progression to jam along to. Half of the greatest songs ever written use these chords!! Nice one Donnie!
Prech that mate. And I think that this would sound sweet with some good ole 'coustic pickin. Was thinkin along the lines of stuff like my dad plays (bluegrass/celtic). Heck, might even ask him to see if he can lay somethin down for this. Speaking of which, lemme know if ya do, would love to hear it. Later on!
Hey man, this was pretty cool! Liked the lyrics, I've been to parties with the floor sagging and bouncing up and down, haha! This song would def get things going!! Cool collab!
Pretty track, nice lyrics, The vocal track sounds like it could some eq work, some reverb and widen it out a little. Nice track though, good job, look forward to the update!
Thanks for your criticism's....The vocal was done using a really shitty headset and mic combo as my mic is out on lease to a mate but needed to get the rough vocal down but I will be redoing it shortly...
Nice job with this, some cool chanting and dub type sounds mixed in, I have to say I like this!! gonna dl and fav, too cool!!
I have a singing bowl too and when you circle the rim with the wooden mallet it rings out such beautifull sounds. I'm a Buddhist and have the Om Mani Padme Hum tattooed on my arm, the mantra of compassion. I saw this and just had to check it out. Well done!
Sorry Slap, haven't been by in a while but this track more than makes up for it!! Great funk happening my soul brother!! haha
No complaints from me, just sittng here tapping my toes and getting into the groove. Sweetness all around, Alexander was excellent, great track! More cowbell, where's the cowbell?!!
Hi Wayne, I'm pleased you like the track and your suggestion of a cowbell will be looked into at the next mix stage. The tracks I will be uploading from here on in and for a Saxobones album, so any positive comments / suggestions are more than welcome. I will pass on you message to Alexander. Cheers, Slap...
I've heard a few tracks using this a capella and this one is the most unique so far. Great job with the guitar modulations, some cool sounds! Well done!
This is wack man, haha!! Some interesting sounds and transitions but a cool listen for sure. Nice production. May contain adult content, haha!! Felt like I was trapped in a pinball machine at times. One track had a feeling of rappers delight a bit. Cool collection of ideas!
I love tracks that were written when in an emotional state, you can really feel the person's emotions especially if the track is a sad one like this is. Great piano sound and composition and that panflute was a nice touch. That scattering sound made me jump a bit, that was a little unexpected, ha!
Hi Wayne :) Thanks very much. I'm glad you found it quite emotional! I was a little bit drunk so I woke up today thinking... oh god... what the hell did I put on looperman! But its ok i think. I need to make the transition to the flute a bit better and yes the scattering sound made me jump too! :D Thanks for listening bud!
Very nice track! I would maybe push the music a little farther back in the mix to hear the vocals out front a little more. They are battling it out, maybe too much compession on the final mix or master. It is a nice recording actually, don't be so hard on yourself, cheers to both of you! You have a nice voice!!
Way to go Bones! This is nice, maybe pop rather than country but country is so pop these days, hey whatever. Nice track, sounds like it could use some eq work to brighten it up a bit. There were some cool effects on the vocals, you built a nice song around them!
Float that string track in behind what you got and remix it, you're on the right direction with this one, look forward to hearing it polished off!
I am glad to have your opinion on this one it took me sometime to find the loops but i feel like this still incomplete maybe in the future i will make some changes and add something more
Nice mix, the drums sound great! AJ's voice is always a pleasure to listen to. Great use of her a capella, I remember her track this was on with Barry. Cool track man!
I love the jinge bell sound, just recently used it myself. Christmas already? I guess so! Hey this was cool, got me thinking about the holidays, starting to cheer me up, Thanks!
Bangin' beat! Loved it when it was all going on and then that really cool break happened and then a great job bringing it back after the break too!
I've been trying to learn a little more about the dance genres like trance and I can really see some good structure and basics of a really decent trance track here. Thanks for posting!
Yes, some country rock!! Loved the first change, great chords!! Sounds like a fun jam, too bad you live so far away cuz I wanted to join in!! Tell your neighbors to learn an instrument and join in!!!
Great intro! What a fiest for the ears, everything about this track I liked! I saw Johnny Cleg and Savuka once and this just brought me back to that show.
Great percussion and vibes and a very nice mix. Excellent job with this Babbba!
Pretty crazy track Donnie, amazing sounds, noises, beats, excellent creativity used here! I could never put something together that was this abstract, great job!
Yep, though that part was thanks mainly to the original artist, Moke. All I did was add to the atmosphere he laid the foundation for. As for doing something like this, sure you could- All you'd have to do is pair up with someone who's rather "Out there". You'll find that the rest falls into place pretty naturally. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Nice collab fellas! I liked the original instrumental so this was def worth checking out. Way to go theThanks on the vocals, interesting reverb you used. I like it guys! Gotta love that flute!!
Thanks humps! The reverb (and actually everything else) was pretty much all dungbeatl. I just sent him raw vox and he did the rest! Thanks for the listen
This tracks is very cool, tons of energy from all directions, the drums, the synths the vocals, the tambo, love the tambo! Great arrangement and mix, I keep laughing everytime that low laugh happens, haha!! Well done Trax!
