I normally do original stuff, its just in this case I had nothing else to upload. I'm geussing I'm alright to upload remixes of the FL demo songs seeing as so many other people have done it on so many sites, including this one. Glad you enjoyed the track though, I'll go check out the dubstep track you mentioned in that Facebook group thing.

Damn, that was quick. Nicely done though, just make sure you ask permission to use it, like I said in the review though, I don't mind you doing it here, but other members will almost certainly want you to ask first. That bieng said, that was pretty good :)

Absolutelysick break down. that being said although the grainy intro was cool maybe a shorter or more varied intro would work better. idk, id like to hear more from you def. any of the stuff u using free?

I'm thinking about cutting the intro down to 32 bars (going straight to the melody you hear before the drums) so you can get to the breakdown in about a minute rather than two.

Most of my tracks are up for download, except the ones which are unfinished or demos.

Yes it's too short... lol I think you know that already!
Nice spacey intro, I like the chilled vibes, the drums sound great with the reverb, adds to that chill sensation. And the bass too, it's heavy and all but it really fits the mood. Really well done.

I'm surprised how well recieved this track is, especially considering the lack of time I put into it. The bass is the only thing I think I'm even slightly proud of now, because I'm leaps and bounds ahead of this. Probably gonna make another dubstep track sometime soon though.

Here's my thoughts.

Take whatever the lowest note is on the melody line -- the first one?
and then count down seven notes to start on the 5th of the key.

I feel ... that i need a really good wuuuuuuummmmmmmmmbbbbbbbbbhphphphphph sounding bass... and nice sidechain kick snare pattern.

Being that this is right around 150bpm... I wanted instant DnB.. but I like that stuff..
But also.. I really felt a huge rock drum, but very much still trance?
That might be interesting.
I will make a loop and post it in a few.

Anyway, I don't know anything about music and I am an idiot actually lol.

Definitely let me know how this progresses!

I feel like I failed you, but I tried following the basic rhythm.. which for some reason I had a really difficult time following.. But you really need to think..

Like what does this mean?
What does "Into the sunset" mean?

If it's just, "Oh, well I came up with a cool progression, and it felt like 'into the sunset'"

Altho... now writing that... I realize I am never satisfied with anything I do lol.

I want you to tell me a story?
Can you think of anything from a .. creative side that... would musically show me what it really means to you "Into the sunset"?

Anyhow.. I came up with this
it's at 150 BPM, and I tried to match it with a quick breakdown into the next part I heard in my head...

The title was a spur of the moment one, no thought into it whatsoever, so of course the title probably doesn't fit too well, but I have got plans to do lyrics for this one, so presuming I make some, I'll re-name the track with a more appropriate title.
I will be making a deeper bass for the drop, maybe turn this track into a slow DNB track (I tried it at 160 and 175, both sounded a little wierd).
The drumloop sounds pretty nice, sounds more like what I was going for.
I tried lowering the first note from a G to a C, but it sounds a little disharmonic and out of place, so I'm gonna end up keeping that the same.

Dude, brilliant intro, i simply loved it =O
may i suggest you keep on building up for a bit more, and then drop a kick+bass on it, and go from there? usually for me, when i reach that part, a track just writes itself xD

I'll be waiting for the finished version ;)

I'm waiting for the finished version too, hopefully I'll actually get somewhere with it soon. I might make the buildup longer, although it may prove difficult or too slow, or I think I might just add a white noise sweep to move the track along.

I think I can recall the first time you mentioned this track a while ago, unless im thinking of the wrong one, but im pretty sure its the same one.

I really like it so far, Id try working with bringing in a strong/up-front square synth at the 50 sec point. Somthing to bring out the rythm thats already there and trun it into more of a hard-hitting melody.

Anyways, thats my two-bits.

Feelin it. Does not sound sad to me. More uplifting to my ears. I would "spit" on it as you say. But track to short. Need atleast 2mins. You wanna draw it out some. I can't really add to this with half the vsts used now missing, and besides, I've been making more new tracks.. that unfortunatly have samples which I haven't yet cleared.

Some Really nice melodic stuff going on there my man! that WASP synth is a beaut by the sound of it, I'll have to check it out. Would love to do a breaks mix of this track if you're interested, got a few nice idea's already, real Hybrid style.

I'm planning on finishing this up myself before I send this to anyone else now, (as in, I'm gonna make a full length track: Possibly 6 or 7 minutes long)

WASP is a vst built into fl studio, I'm not too sure, but you might be able to buy it off imageline.com.

You don't take it seriously, but it sounds like you approached it sincerely. This is good.

It needs to be longer, but you know that.

Subverting Mozart is something that should probably be done more often.

I think the reason I chose mozart is because of the music studies I've been doing in school.

The original idea was Beethovens "Ode to joy", but I prefered turkish march.

I do think people should take a look at classical stuff, just because its old doesn't mean you can't learn anything from it.

Same place as all my other rediculously short tracks: In my head. I wanna get some decent string sounds, samples don't seem to do the trick, and I'm yet to find an affordable VST with a realistic sound.

But I'll get there eventually.

You should have gave us more of the track. I hate when people only give you a minute of a song because they think it's hot. Yeah I liked how it sounded but I expected at least 2-3 minutes of a track so I can get the feel of where that producer is coming from. But anyway "Keep'em comin & Keep'em movin".
