Description : A little bit of an experiment I did with fl studio's strumizer and arpeggiator tools, and it sounded a bit dull, so I remixed it and now it sounds a lot better. I used the vst plugin Tone2 Gladiator 2 for the bass and the pad, I used refx for those chimes (which was originally a piano) in the middle and at the end, and also for the drums (with the exception of the kick which was fl's fruit kick) and I also used Nexus for the sweeps.
I spent a good amount of time on this track so please take time to review my song.
This song was heavily inspired by above and beyond (especially the intro) and also is inspired by some amazing piano artists on youtube.
Enjoy!

Really nice stephen. your mixing skills are really top notch for someone so young. you got alot of potential. wish i was that good at your age lol all i did was make tracks from nothing but loops. and amongst other things that distracted from me from getting any better at it. anyways this a great track man, remember just be yourself, dont worry about what other people say, they dont have the right to judge. well done.
and what do you compose with by the way, if i havent asked already
I felt like reviewing a new track of yours ste!
but I already reviewed your 2 newest tracks so I now choose this one...
Like KoolKyle said, this is a classic trance track that's nice!
But I can also hear a nice dembow type pattern in it (which I'm kinda getting addicted to...)
One piece of advice:
I can hear at the beginning that you used the Fruit Kick, which is nice, but there's also still a tiny bit of 'click' in it..
I THINK it would be better if you put that clicky, snappy bit all the way off....
this is great classic trance good work man how do you master it sounds like you have maxed it you should try a compressor the kick is far too punchy but all in all this is a good track :D
I didn't use a compressore before this track, but I do now, and I still need to learn how to use the peak controller, but once I do, its going to be a lot better.
Hi, this track has certainly got a bit of a kick to it, which is balanced well with that melodic synth line and fx, cool upbeat tune !!an enjoyable listen, nice one, and also many thanks for taking the time to visit my page, cheers and best wishes faceless fx.
hey Stephen4705, thanks for stoppin' by and checking out my collab with jfw, one of the more interesting musicians on this site, check him out when you can..we also did a cinematic venture together that you might enjoy!...i like what you've done with this track, I can tell you are good at developing your melodic ideas and the track arrangement as a whole...nice sounds and textures, dig the synthy-piano like melodic line you keep coming back, helps to anchor the piece I think!..be back when I can to check you out again man..I'm in the middle of a lot of original tracks and remixes at the moment....:)
Very nice track mate, really like the intro, then the string(chimes?) affect leading into the main piece, great choice of synths my friend, very arrangement man, adding to fav's...very nice work..
I enjoy cerebral trance and this definitely fits that need. The melodies are not cliche but are instead very unexpected in a positive way. The chord progressions are interesting and the way you layer the chimes sound on top of the other sounds (the slower chimes with the faster sounds) adds not only another layer of sound but also an interesting layer of tempo. It is contemplative trance that generates as much thought as was put into it. I enjoyed the listen. Kper
You've done a great job with this track! I really liked the intro, it led into the main sections very well. Those chimes are great, and they're not what I'm used to hearing on a trance track. This track is full of good feelings! Nice one!
I literally uploaded this 2 minutes ago. I did not expect someone to reply so quick! Anyway, as I said before thanks for the review, now im gonna look at some of your tracks :D

Description : Big thanks to Justze3 who released the four loops to his drake ovo style piece because he didn't plan to finish it, challenge accepted. I would also like to thank LankFrampard for the extra drum loop and av3 for the sample "trapped" which gave a lot of extra feel to the song.
Description : I really liked ABOE Musics (looperman member) cinematic track so i give it a go and after many hours in last few days this is it.
My RMX of his great track. Maybe i tweak it more in future.
Really enjoyed in making it.
It's Trance-ish House i guess LOL.
Enjoy!
Love and peace.
Description : this song is the last i created. I wanted to remix the famous "the chase" from the movie "midnight express, i love the original sound! i don't know if the result is enough good but i'm proud to say that all has been composed by myself: the instrumental parts, the arrangements, melody, recording and mixing. I hope you'll enjoy it! don't hesitate to let a comment after listening :)
Description : Progressive song that I made a few weeks ago. Tried to make an uplifting sommer song. I know it is nothing original but like the flow in it.
Description : Used loops from MHYST trance sequence 8,2 and Goa. Dune 2 Vst. also thanks to Fibonacci 1.1618

Description : A relaxed Trance-Trible-Electro-Wave track. Feel the power of the alien tribe connection. Dance your dream or dream your dance. Just be part of the connection.
This is what you get when i try to make a Free Radical song.
In the end, it does not sound like something I've ever heard from him.
But it was, after all, a try.
Thus, it is not completely different, ´cause i have not sung this time.
And it is electronic music but .....
However, I like the resulting song. Hope you too. Only 1 sample was used here - Anubis-Anubis-Loop all the synth´s are played by me and i added some drumsounds with powerdrums2 played by myself Comments are sure welcome.
Description : A drum and bass, electronic something or other inspired track. The main Melodies taken from short loops I cut from some sessions my bro &e's recordings he had made at my location. I had been meaning to use his sounds for a minute and he said it would be cool. Finally did.

Description : Another attempt in my continuing efforts to learn how make a trance track. Is intended to have a vocal doing the melody. Would try to find a singer but need to work out lyrics first. For this track I tried to make the melody not too repetitive. I limited it to four bars max of the same melodic phrase.
Description : This is a remix with permission, which goes to a contest. Basically progressive house with trance elements. The download option will be avaiable after the contest closes.
Update: mastering and mixing redone! it should work, well hope so. Update 2: now it must work! no more compression (at leas I think), not really satisfied with the waveform, but maybe it`s okay! Thanks for the help people!
Love the ride (but I may have gotten whiplash from banging my head to that bass, lol)
John
