This is really good, I love the peacefulness you have going on and the imagery of the planet. I don't really imagine being in the space around it so much as the planet itself, as if I'm floating over it slowly and drinking in my surroundings.

hmmm..I like this one. It reminds me a bit of the Flashbulb, only more cohesive and a bit less crazy.

I love the little melody you have going on in the background, it really helps to catch and hold my attention. Good job on this one, I'll check out your other stuff too. I don't mean to be one of those obnoxious people who advertises their stuff on other tracks, but I'd appreciate if you would do me a return favor and look at some of my work as well, and comment wherever you like.

I remixed some more and blew up my headphones..

Ultimately it was worth it.

I have to be honest.. the simple motif (psh) .. the drums.. alone had to be a jigsaw.. I always admired that .. I always like.. Trying to accept that you were baddass, and that I shouldn't stir the pot unless it was getting cold.. and I took the LinnDrums to the extreme with some 808.
I played some real violin too..

I was gonna e-mail you, but it's been a long while.. April since you where on, and my e-mails are a current mess.

Anyway.. this song, despite your general apathy has a lot of emotion.. I often wondered what 5 centimeters really meant you know... In a lot of ways.. I think I do..
But..

I will never forget you man.. If nothing else... I have all yer e-mails printed out and I always look fondly on your work... The universe and some of the bass excursions you did back in the day lol...

Cheers man, no worries if you don't like it!
It's basically RAPING your idea.. ... It's the only way I could make it work for me lol

Hey siensystem

Mate this is a very club ready trance piece, so love the bassline, excellent, working well with the beat and kick moving the track along very well, excellent synths and pads, dont think I heard the other version, all I can say this is great, clarity and the arrangement is spot on, as you know I do trance, this is brilliant, massive fav mate, can not fault in any shape or form...Peace n Respect...Estefano...

I just thought I'd check up on your profile, seeing as I haven't done so in a while, nice to see a new track from you. Definate fusion of styles here, really mixing dubstep, ambient, trance, and glitch together fantastically. Shame to hear your not doing music anymore, but I'm just glad to see something up here.

The drums in this are fantastic though. Definatly sounds like they took you a while to do.

Fav'd + Downloaded.

Ste :)

on DIFFERENTIAL by siensystem
At the first seconds I thought it would be some kind of goa trance, but when the lead synths come in it is clear to be some more dance/techno thing.

I like the song, but at some parts it sounds "overloaded", especially playing more than one lead together. Maybe some elements are missing the song unique - like an effect, break or something.

Don't get me wrong, but the arrangement felt a bit like "synthesizer demo song".

Great blending of styles, love the drum and the wobble bass. Nice bits of glitch too! I think it could be a bit longer though, maybe some break with the bass off.
Anyway, nice work, very sci-fi-ish, really enjoyed it!

Thanks Alx! Appreciate your comment and suggestions! :) Unfortunately I never got a chance to finish this one and it's now been a year. And I'm no longer making music, but I'm sure I'll revisit this one someday. Off to your most recent work, thanks again!

I ... think in the way the textures pull and push.. it's like newborn breath.. It sounds just like it feels.

Breathing. Full of life. And Emptiness.

Hope you are well my friend.

This is a superb track! Awesome atmosphere in there. I really like the bass work and the drums are very relaxing. It would be hard to classify this, and that is def a big part of greatness. Nice toon, man!

Sweet track! It's awesome to hear some real drum n bass when most of the stuff that comes out now is that boring Pendulum shite! Really good!

Really nice track, i like the pace of it. Although the alarm clock noise somewhere around 3:30-4:00 sounds exactly like my alarm which always gives me a weird feeling. Outstanding.

Very interesting soundscape! I've heard of this style of composition before, but haven't heard much of the output! It's really fun to hear! Definitely a little bit creepy, but in a good way! Nice to hear something different from you, this is definitely different, and a nice change from what we usually hear on looperman. Congrats on being experimental!

Yes I agree, with guys really interesting!
honestly I've never heard that in this way you can make music!
But I like it, different, it definitely reminds me of the UFO,
you do a little bit dark, cripy, and atmospheric mood!

I will not say weird, but different track and very good job!
(I think we all learn something new)!

Hmmmm, interesting. How complex can you get the sounds, prob depends on the amount of time you want to spend doing the math, huh?

Old scifi music, theramin sounding at times. Sure is different, but cool.

Thanks theHumps! You are correct, it all depends. In this case I didn't spend too much time on it and it could probably sound better. Truthfully, I think the logic is where things were more dicey. Greatly appreciate that you liked it and I welcome your review. Thanks!

Pretty interesting to hear experimentations like this. I've heard of this way of making music or sounds, but never heard the result. So basically this is a program which runs programs/algorithms to create sounds? I'm curious!

Definitely weird, kinda haunting and scary. This is really an interesting result! And yeah, it was maybe a little too low on the volume.

Peace!

siensystem replied Unknown
Thanks ALXSIX, I was really not expecting anyone to be interested or would enjoy this one, really thank you for the time taken to listen to provide some kind words. I updated it with a little boost so it's a bit louder, thanks for that note, that is appreciated very much.

Basically the track is made with code. In this case I used a programming environment called ChucK:

http://chuck.cs.princeton.edu/

A programming language for music composition and real-time synthesis. It's really cool and very useful for algorithm-based music and also very fun to experiment with.

Anyway, glad that you enjoyed this one and thanks again for noting the levels.

By the way, you can also use CSound:

http://www.csounds.com/

Which is another tool I use frequently.
