Easily the best song on Looperman, amazing production, cute voice, reminds me of the Final Fantasy: Advent Children Movie, during a scene where a little girl speaks about the Life Stream, or the worlds Life Stream, definitely if you haven't looked at it you should, if she makes any more music will you be uploading it? I' be very grateful to hear it from here.
Truly amazing, well done to her and you, seems like music is in the family eh? :)
Hehe..I don't know about that..thank you very much for the wonderful review (sorry for my late reply!) I 'd love to make more tracks with Vanessa only trouble is she lives in Florida and I'm here in Oz! lol(sister visited)..cheers planet :)
super work - its like futuristic star treck - great bass lines and love the muted stacato mixed in - great percussion - it just all is so well put together - congratulations on this one!
Wow that was a great ride. Took me back to my days listening to Weather Report. The Drums and Bass is rocking and the Keys just take you away. I closed my eyes and was transformed to another place.
Great feel, great mix, great track.
Thanks MrDZ...Oh how I wish that band was still up an functioning...if there was a direction I could kneel and pray to like Mecca it would be Weather report!..cheers mate :)
I really cant say anymore good about you buddy. I have ranted and raved about your talent so much, I was scared you would think I was a stalker or something if I said more...lol.
But you had a loop contribution to my song "Everybody Funk Now", so like always...I like to let you know.
Thanks mate!...an interesting combination pensive and laid back,I like that, sort of tension without the hangups...I get that in my playing,on the beat then an esoteric period of transition then on the beat again....cool mate..cheers Dave :)
No doubt about it - more stuff with JFW and Zappo PLEASE! You're collaboration work is always synergistic - and always exceeds the sum total of musicians involved.
There are some moments in this where it sounds like JFW's guitar and your bass are on and the same, and then like RNA transcription they unzip from each other.
Everything is fantastic about this piece - composition, arrangement, and even the glitchy texture moments. Another favorite added to my list! Thanks.
Hi Sean..thanks man,,yep no doubt there's more than a bit of simpatico happening.....initially when the digital age arrived I thought "great, now I'll be able to make music without all the baggage of band members and their ego's"..little did I know at the time that it would introduce and expose me to like minded musicians as well...sometimes I think Looperman is more an introduction agency! lol..(perish the thought)..cheers mate Dave :)
love it - great work and thanx cuz this is a very enjoyable listening experience - all goes together so well and has a suspensful and mysterious quality - yes, great soundtrack material!
Cool buddy..so happy you like this track,I'd like to play this material live and see what reaction it received...I think I'd have to be careful of the venue though, can't see it going down a storm in a Cowboy bar! lol..cheers mate Dave :)
this track is ill fam...you got a nice organic sound...sounds like the surface of a distant planet where hip hop is played on the radio instead of bullshit...nice work son...check out my page...maybe we can collab...one
Very nice piece you have here, great arrangement, something I have come to expect of your tunes is the clarity and this one is right up there, nice percussion, loving the bassline, nice relaxing beat, beautiful jazz piece, also nice synths, actually love everything about this track, instant fav Dave, mate hope you have had a great weekend, thank you once again for sharing your talent, that tracks a very enjoyable listen, again ty...Peace and respect friend...Estefano....
Man what a brilliant piece, excellent guitar, that and the angelic voice of Elaine, is what stand out for me in the great piece. along with the clarity, mate you have so much talent I am in AWE, total respect to you Dave and your great talent, one damn talented Aussie, massive fav this one Dave, thank you for allowing us here on the loop to enjoy this great track....Estefano...PS Dave mate I have another new house piece up, hope you get chance to listen, it is called A Night To Remember, enjoy...Cheers buddy...
Love this man, sounds like something from a movie soundtrack. I like the ambient glitch thing you got going here. So relaxing, like theme music for a vacation.
Well this is very good...and no offense to anyone else but this tune seemed to actually match the genre that you gave it.
There seemed to be a great connection between the tele, the clock and your song title.Everything was real moody as it should be and the quality was extra nice.
Great!
Allen
Hey Al..thanks man..I liked the metronomic feel against the organic elements..also I've been thinking about buying one of Zoom's new micro digital recorders that you can put in your pocket....sort of like bringing what you hear in your day to day life into your tracks sort of vibe...cheers buddy Dave :)
My favorite parts where the harmonics and the bridgish area.
I wanna ride the gravy train!!
heh
What's this about the VST midi bass???!?
Been really thinking about going the direction of guitar in midi out... there's some cheap interfaces with horrible ratings and of course.. Expensive ones with amazing reviews.
Thanks mate..de train takes all passengers and makes unscheduled stops all de time! lol...yeah midi guitar/bass is pretty cool..I got the Sonuus G2M for guitar and the B2M for bass as well..these are a bit iffy, only play monophonically and a little bit of post production midi mapping clean up is required occasionally, but their not bad for the price..I borrowed a Roland Gr2 bass midi pick-up and module ..these are better but still I don't like it hanging off my guitar..what I think I may get is an Industrial Radio Midi Bass..they seem to be the real deal..but I'll have to test one first..about $2500..bit pricey for something you won't use all the time..but we'll see..cheers mate Dave :)
wow... I had to do a double take really quick...
For a second I thought this was gonna go Hip-hop!
lol
Wow... JFW's synths are totally making me feel the space of time ... how moments float in and out depending on the tonal mood.
(EDIT) OH wait those were yours?! NICE!
JFW's Guitar playing was right on too... I would have a hellava time following the deep waters you treaded on this.
your bass work has SUCH clarity?!
I love how you play it on all the right blue notes. yum.
I am really appreciating the glitchy little tid-bits here and there.
This reminds me of doing LSD. But the audio type.
Great stuff!
Hey Abe...Audio Lsd!(but no Hip Hop unfortunately) lol..it wouldn't surprise me if the CIA discovered away to do it..they'd only lease it to the record companies to give them one last grasp of power..I know what you mean though,it's like when I got this synth sound..a little light in my head went off and I thought..yeah this will work...cheers mate Dave :)
wow mate this is so good, right from the start I was hooked, excellent beats and bassline, great synths and effect, great use of percussion, mate love everything about this one, most people already beaten me to the best bits lol, seriuosly stunning track, extremely clear production, arrangement excellent...instant fav here dude....Peace and much respect of your talent Dave..ty for sharing it he with us on the loop...Estefano...
Thanks mate...glad you enjoyed the ride..I'll be happier when it warms up a bit..I have to play for about half an hour to get the system warmed up in the winter before I can record one note! lol..cheers Dave :)
Hey mate..thanks for listening, maybe it is a little mystical I was thinking about my youth! lol..more power to the old dogs I say! hehe..cheers MrFunkenhosen :)

It is not easy to evaluate themselves, but the result is clear.
All in all a good production. the driving force be created to link the elements and something new.

Wow man another impressive piece from you, great beat and bassline, synths very good, this is one of those tracks that you close your eye's when listening to it, and it takes you on a journey, massive track, clarity and arrangement again top rate, as I have come to expect from you my friend, can not fault this in anyway, excellent collab mate...massive fav this one...Peace and massive respect to you Dave...Estefano....
