Description : A rudimental piano piece I came up with. The title is a reference to historical events of the summer of 1914 that plunged the world into the seminal catastrophe of the 20th century. The track has some synth FX I've never used before. I didn't send this to LANDR for a final master.
Description : TRIGGER WARNING! Controversial theme & Vocal track. It's a remake of one of my earliest tracks. If it's "better" is debatable. The original has a lo-fi, cheap AM radio sound that suits the theme. I didn't alter this much from the original. It has a bass line rather than a Reese. This version definitely sounds "bigger." Disclaimer: I DO NOT SYMPATHIZE WITH THE THIRD REICH.
Description : Vocals By DJ Samples. What can I tall you about this? It's ClickBait Cabaret & man does it ever sound like it. I'm a believer in sticking with your signature style. We've all known bands who's "earlier work" was better. That's because they drifted away from their original style & turned to shit. It happens all the time.
Description : Remake of one of the first tracks I ever recorded, originally titled, Terrifying Science. It's a reflection on the end of WWII and what nuclear weapons had unleashed upon humanity. This is IMO the best example of what I was aiming at with Clickbait Cabaret when I first started the project. Dark, ominous & at points, even terrifying. As CBC evolved I drifted away from that, sort of. CBC definitely has it's own style. This is the essence of it. The prototype Clickbait Cabaret track, If you will.
Description : I've been in a dry spell creativity wise so I'm trying to work my way out of it. If you've ever been in a Train station at 2AM when the bars let out, you get the gist of the title.
Description : Ugly ass witch house beat that isn't technically a house beat. (The Drum Track is by LM's Danke.) The Track's based on an older beat of mine with the same name. This version's half as long & not as busy. The Synths are Synthmaster, Massive, Dark Keys & Creep Piano. And of course, It wouldn't be a Clickbait Cabaret beat without nine zillion FX plugins. Pretty sure all of them are on this beat.
Description : A friend of mine said this beat reminded him of the oldie, Telstar by the Tornados. (Telstar reached the billboard #1 spot in 1962. Possibly the only instrumental with an organ lead that ever did.) Synthmaster, Massive, Tal NoiseMaker & Izotope Iris 2 are the synths I used. You can get synthmaster player for free from plugin boutique. They're selling Iris 2 for 10 measly bucks as well. For 10 clams, Iris 2 is some synth man.
Description : Guitar instrumental. The lead guitar is Evolution Strawberry, the rhythm is Electric Sunburst. Synthmaster player, Izotope Iris, Exhale, Microtonic & Waves Bass Fingers are all the plugins used.
Description : One of the short, ambient pieces going on the CD, It Is What It Is. Good old Massive from Native Instruments is heavy on this. So is Synthmaster, Izotope Iris & Exhale from output. Exhale is like the freakiest synth ever.
Description : I burned out from overthinking my beats, so I'm working on a CD of short, quickly made beats of about 30 sec/2.5 min long each. For this I'm taking a scale, screwing around with it & knocking out a beat in a few hours. There's no rhyme or reason to any of it, save quickly made without nine million separate tracks & FX as I've been prone to in the past. The CD's title will be "It Is What It Is."
Description : This is a remake of a song I did over year ago called Clickbait Cabaret Pop. I couldn't mix for shit back then. The tune is about the only track I've ever done that could be described as a "happy" pop song, so I really wanted to redo it with instruments that don't fight with each other & a mixdown that doesn't sound like it's coming from the middle of a goddamn swamp. Pretty sure I succeeded with that. Cheers.
Description : This song came out of my fondness for true crime documentaries. The two Drum Loops are LM's danke, the two guitar plugins are Evolution Strawberry & NI Electric Sunburst. The Bass plugin is Output's Substance. I did the vocal. I Kinda sound like the WWF.
Description : The rapper is BadgaNFK. One of the drum loops is cg5music. The rap is about Genghis Khan when he was a young man known only as Temüjin, living on the steps of Mongolia. These were rugged tribal peoples living as part of nature in what could be a very hostile environment. I tried to capture that in this, hence all the nature sounds. The ending is Mongolian people singing.
Description : There's no LM loops on this. I don't think this is "ambient" really, I just don't know what else to put it under. The weird sounds I did with Output's Exhale vocal Synth. That's some crazy ass instrument baby.
Description : Working with DarkKZ by Beatskillz, Synthmaster 2.9, Waves Bass Fingers, Microtonic drum synth, Izotope nectar 3 elements, Ozone 8 Elements & several other plugings I'm trying for the first time. The vocal samples are from Ghosthack, LANDR & Sampleswap. Hope you like it. Cheers.
Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : Something by Clickbait Cabaret that's bit less, "apocalyptic" let's say. Drum Loops by LM's danke. Vocals are "What I fear/ Morning. I got them off a vocal pack from ghosthack. The rest of the track is yours truly
Description : Vocal; DJ Sample. Drums; The Savage. The rest is me. I mapped the bassline by watching bass tutorials themed on Bootsy Collins, hence the funk vibe. Despite that this is still a Clickbait Cabaret track, so the spooky vibe is still there, hence the trip hop tag. I dig trip hop.
Description : Demo outline. The "I was born to die" lyric is backward & forward. Some of the drum parts are loops, some I made. I'll likely remake with some changes to the instruments, about 2 minutes longer with instrumental breaks.
Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : My grandmother was from Belarus. She was the lone survivor of her family after the Waffen SS massacred everyone in her village during a retreat from the Red Army. She escaped soviet occupied Belarus & through a series of wranglings by the international red cross, found a family to adopt her in New Jersey in 1947. She was 14 years old then. She was the strongest person I ever knew & I miss her terribly. This song is for her.
