Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.

I find this very imaginative as the muddiness adds to the effect and i especially love it when the beat kicks in

Really good quality intro enticing the ears to hear more...and yes the female vox somehow does seem familiar somehow?

I use polyverse "Comet" for all reverbs and spacing for vocals and percussion and would suggest testing it on your music...you can thank me later...those reading this that dont know - Polyverse creates mods for midi and daws and mass influenced input from infected mushroom.

I really like the percussion but to me i would pan it wider by 200% want to know how?

? Do you create double or even quadruple channels of the same sound or loop ?

I love it as it is...nice1

    Regards,

Thanks for the heads up on comet. I've already watched a video on it. Seems pretty impressive. There's like eight zillion reverb plugins on the market. Picking one for purchase seems a daunting task. All my reverb plugins are freebies, so I can't complain about their limitations. The drum synth I use is the sonic charge microtonic. Mapping beats with it is pretty idiot proof, that's it's key advantage. It's low on CPU use as well. I make the beat track, then make Audio stems out of each drum part & stack them into multiple tracks. They're not panned at all. Up the center drums is tried & true old school. Next time I'll mess around with panning & see what happens. Thanks for the criticisms. That's what I need.

amazing track man, i would have let those percussions hit stronger (for me at least) I feel like they are to low on volume, or maybe its the low ends need a bit of boost.

overall real good man I love it.

I have been working on getting the percussion tracks to sound "bigger" which I have actually made some progress on. Maybe still not enough though. The keys on the chorus don't come through the mix as well as I would like them to either. There's always room for improvement. Thanks for the criticism. That's what I need to read.

Thank you. This track started out with me mapping a version of Phil Collins drum work on Intruder. (I've always loved that song.) I used the sonic charge Microtonic drum synth, converted each part to a stem, then stacked the stems & ran them through various effects to get a big sound. The microtonic is more of a hip, hop, trap oriented kind of plugin that sounds thin on it's own, but you can get it to sound big if you stack & treat the tracks enough.

A fairly dark and ominous theme you've created. A bit of cinematic, horror themed music, C#m will give that sound to you which is why I love minor chords. This would probably make some decent video game background music, candy crush will never be the same! ;)

Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!
***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : The tangled skein of life permeates all creation, binding the known to the unknown. This track, in its own subtle way, attempts to convey that.

Description : The answer to Close Encounters is Hymn Of The Pleiades. This is a strictly groove track where the elements of ambient meets electronic funk and Hip Hop. Track was recorded, mixed and mastered using Mixcraft Pro Studio 6 software. Results were achieved by using a FATA Studio 90 MIDI keyboard ran through a E-MU Proteus 2000 sound module, - for the phat funky bass synth. I also used a KORG O5R/W sound module for the retro lead synth parts and ambient sound pads.
I utilized what was essentially a old school Hip Hop drum track, arranged and beefed it up for that extra umh! I greatly appreciate all the positive feedback the track has garnered thus far. Keep listening and by all means, your comments are much welcomed... thanks.

Description : This one has a lot of changes. Pretty unique. Lots of dubstep sounds, glitch and other sounds. I always enjoy listening back to it. Throw on some headphones, crank it up, and experience the awesomeness of this epic electronic composition.

Description : Recently I've been quite into future bass and this my first real try at making it.

Looking forward to some constructive criticism. Hope you enjoy

Update - This is the updated completed version of the song featuring Eshar on the vocals. This is a very experimental track and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised by it.

I don't know where else to put this, but I really want to thank the Looperman community for giving my track a chance. It's almost hit 800 plays and it's got so many favorites, it's insane. Thanks to everyone who made this the song it is right now.

Description : Electronic blend. Starts off with a wup wup wup wup bass wob, then a rock beat with a bass line, and synths and samples are weaved in. Glitch sounds invade, and dub step robo voices speak up. A sliced up climax tops off the structure. Thank you, come again.
