It was recorded in 97 or 98 I think......Still sounds fresh today..Has that kind of timeless rock sound I think where it cant be pigeon-holed to a specific decade....The lyrics speak for themselves I think....Hope you enjoy and all reviews are appreciated! Description : This song is an homage to a forgotten time - it's dark, medieval, melodic and epic. The theme is a crusade... the templars, the East... warriors, poets and thieves.
I used an array of instruments : cello, timpani, xylophone, dulcimer, steel guitar, piano.

Description : This is my new song I made for my next video I am doing for machinima.com. It is weird, I know. It isn't the direction I plan on going with music, but it was sure fun to write the lyrics.

Description : Heres this one. Everything by me except for the awesome beat, its from Wounded Buffalo. I labeled it adult content for the one word of curse I use in it.

For the lyrics Ive been on a power of now mindfulness kick for awhile now, leaving the past in the past trying not to worry about the future and focusing on this exact moment. Ive done well with the pass but the future part I need to work on. So this is a positive track from me to help ya stay on the point of now, dont know if I accomplished it but hey I gave it a effort.

Far as vocals I did it in one take(verses and hooks seperate but one shot for each of em) and thought i nailed it down pretty well. I used some compression on the vocals and for the first time boosted the low a little, and a touch of reverb for the end.

All feedback appreciated. Any criticism on how to make it better would be awesome

Description : About three months now since I started this song... And I STILL havent finished it because im not sure what to do with it. This was inspired by the track "dance with me" by Blake Reary and Laurie Webb. It uses 2 of Fl's drum loops. One is Faxing berlin and the other is autophresh. Everything else (incuding the pad at the beggining) is mine.

I know its repetetive, which is why it needs vocals. To make it more... Interesting, I geuss.

The VSTs used are Genesis (thats the pad) refx nexus (prety much all of the other synths) Fl studios drum samples.

If you can sing please try to make an acapella for this song. I am terrible at lyrics so i cant help you there, but the BPM is 128.

Description : Ive been wanting to do some punk type ish and I found a song by The Humps called People In My Way(cool track by the way) i asked him for the instrumental and put this on it. Had the chorus in my head when I listened to his song and jotted these lyrics down, went together pretty nice I think. Not much on the mixing end, and this song never heard of mastering. I should start a punk band, songs would be a lot easier.

Any feedback appreciated and anyone with some punk style instrumentals that could use some words feel free to let me know.

Description : Warning contains Explicit lyrics. Dual Bass, Dance Beat, NIN style influence. The Vocals are clean and dirty at the same time. I duplicated the clean vocal tracks and applied distortion and EQ'd in a manner simlar to Band Pass filtering. This allows the vocals to have a clean yet, distorted industrial sound. The Vocals are craddled inside of things instead of standing out in the front. Crank up the volume a little and hear the mean sounding dual bass line and the vocals together. Analog synth applied here and there. There is a Darker Backup Vocal Track on the chorus, stands out more when you crank this up. I added this as a subtle almost unnoticed touch to the chorus. I also used Phase Shifting on the Distorted vocal tracks. Again, I had made duplicates of the clean vocal tracks and applied distortion, Graphic Band EQing (for filtering), and Phase Shifting effects.

Description : Hey guys,
I've been working on this song for awhile now. I LOVE the lyrics and the main melody, but the rest of the song is just not taking the direction I want it to. I'm stuck and I don't know what to do! "/ It's missing something, has no life. I'm not sure what it's missing and i'm getting so frustrated. I know it needs to mastered and such but that's not the problem. Please tell me what it's missing or what I should change to give it that extra umph! If I can't figure it out maybe i'll just let you guys have the acapella and make something outta it "/ just don't want this song to go to waste, so any ideas, thoughts, comments, are welcome! :D
