Description : Melancholic ambient about the passing of time. It was inspired by this fragment from Roger Ebert's book 'Two Weeks in the Midday Sun'. Ebert is interviewing Tony Curtis about this thing called life and Curtis says this to him: ''Let me tell you a story, sort of a parable. One day in 1948 I went to Hollywood. My name was Bernie Schwartz. I signed a contract at Universal, and I bought a house in the hills. It had a swimming pool. Unheated, but it had water in it. One night I came home late, I jumped in the pool, I swam a few laps, I got out, I dried myself off, I put on my clothes, and I walked directly into this room and sat down and started to talk to you. Do you see what I'm saying?''A short piece of a loop by Looperman-member was used in the second half of this track

Description : I took a couple poems by a very talented Looperman poet and but some drums and tunes behind 'em, and withoutmyarmor has some words for the chorus. It's a somber, thoughtful piece based on a simple piano/organ loop, but evolves and changes often. And you gotta wait for the last verse, they're Patroklus's best words. I did however have to shorten the intro and outro to make it fit. Bummer.

Yep :), it's been a while since I composed something genius with it.

Description : I was working on a different project when I came across Romy's pella and had to create something from it. Such beautiful vocals. Acapella downloaded from Looperman, made by facebook.com/romyharmony. I did this during a business trip while at the hotel and all I had were my earbuds so the EQ is off I'm sure. Description : Last year I worked a few collabs with a girl from the loop, APZee...We had planned to make an entire album but then the girl got signed, whereas I was having a lot of problems in real life, so this is how it ended.
Pleasant work though, so here is my favorite one... I hope you guys will like it...

Description : 'In Paris With You' is a poem by James Fenton about breaking up. I found this audio reading of that poem a few years ago on the net (gone since, would like to give credits). I took out the parts of the rendition that fitted the mood of this track. The sensual singing is by Janis71 (merci!), courtesy of LooperMan. I went for an 'early Enigma'-sound combined with a lazy jazz-trumpet and rich ambient violins, giving it the big city-feel I love so much in soundtracks like Last Tango, Taxidriver and work by Lalo Schifrin (the melancholic parts of Rollercoaster). This is also a hommage, certainly, to Serge Gainsbourg.

Description : I could mess around with this track all year and it still wouldn't sound amazing to me. My bass sucks and my kicks are lacking big time... but i can't seem to get it right. I think the best thing i can do is leave this one for now, keep making tracks, keep learning and eventually i'll get some better mixing skills.. Tell me what you think guys!
