Description : While it doesn't contain any looperman loops it was based on and inspired by a couple different loops by a couple different members so I figured I'd upload it here. It's four eastwest orchestra samples, put together in Ableton. It's fast but there are a few different themes, some decent changes, I don't know, I've been trying my hand at orchestral compositions and this is the first one I've finished that I feel is worth anything. Constructive (or even destructive) criticism is always appreciated. And if you get bored skip forward 20 seconds or so, you'll hear something different.

Description : A pop song I did last year when I was starting to make my own tracks and not really used to mix .Bear used some of its pellas to do this marvel entitled 'Fleeting Shadows' which he uploaded today :

Description : New 'houserock'-mix combining rockguitar, houserythms and a classic theme. This track owes a lot to Looperman-member Chris Neal who produced the Silhouette-melody you can hear in the beginning. This is the Leitmotiv for the whole track, giving it a 'floating feeling' (I hope). Also I introduced some Phil Collins-like drumbreaks that are essentially rockbased and don't belong in house - if your are a purist - but I used them anyway because I love the 'delayed pleasure'-effect it achieves.

Description : Featuring fragments from Marinella Mastrosimone singing Ophelia's Song on the album Mice to Meet You! by Musetta. The voice-samples are from CC Mixter. There was also a fragment used from Looperman-member PlanetJazzBass' excellent, moody piece The Death Of Gagarin. The whole point of this mix was to combine deep house/melodic trance with rockguitar, an unusual combination. The idea to try this emerged when the rockband (Bastardi Di Blues) I play in did a gig at the Solar Dance Festival in Holland last summer. During soundcheck a housebeat was played on the PA system and the drummer and I played some loose licks with the beat that were picked up by members in the audience (they started dancing). Eventually this emerged as a new idea: rockhouse. This is the first mix in that subgenre.

So a bit of a departure here in that it's a real bass guitar (apologies to Dave Marshall in advance!) My trusty Ovation Celebrity provides the acoustic which is spread across the stereo image, EZ drums and EZkeys (I should be on commission) and some other patches from Logic. The solo is on the acoustic setting of my Godin XTSA.

Description : Not really sure about the genre, I'll put Cinematic because I can imagine a story behind each instruments like they are a family? Please help me if I'm wrong.Here is a old song that I just discovered on my computer. It is called "My life as a vintage videogame" because I truly think that we can listen to this while playing a old video game on an ultra old nintendo. It's sort of hymn to gamers... on a strings and synth point of view.
This version has no drum and is done with Reason. listen until the end... there's a true story behind each instrument. (And pauses are for the drum version:) )
And ! When you download it it says Document 2. No Title (No Drum), no worries... I just didn't have titles at the moment. It came out of nowhere while I was posting this song on Looperman :P

Description : This was a collab to pay tribute to the Late Great Gary Moore. I had the opportunity to collab with all of the talented gentlemen on several occasions. As always it's been a true pleasure and honor to work with such great guys.Several of the Looperman residents I have tremendous respect for. There is a point of great sorrow when we lose an artist we all admire. I hope for the memory Gary Moore, we have done some justice in paying tribute to his great music. Comments always welcome.
