Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!

Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Since most of the inspiration came from this wonderful site, I will post all of them here.
I am more or less done with the mix, I need to master the track and even if this is just for myself, I would like to get the best possible sounding record.

Description : This unconventional metal track is dedicated to Valvedriver https://www.looperman.com/users/profile/841435 though it's not a parody of his fine music or me actively trying to sound like it. I struggled for months with the first few minutes of this track knowing that I must be able to take it somewhere deeper, more psychedelic and powerful. Then I loaded some sampled choir voice instruments, as used in my track Reckful https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/160356 and suddenly found myself happily in Valveland - not a place I visit often. Feeling amply Valvedriven and newly inspired, I added the last few minutes fairly easily and very quickly. So: it's a twisting, turning mixture of grunge, menacing ambient, mystical metal and ultra-heavy funk. Instruments: electric guitar+bass, synth basses, female choir voices, one synth pad, some other synths on the nastier side of things and a few programmed heavy acoustic drumkits playing a mixture of triplets and straighter grooves. Interesting thoughts appreciated. Favourite bits? ##### bits? Please listen on good headphones/speakers as there's a lot of heavy bass in this. Now get ready to rock: balls out, hands in the air and with rebellious joy in your heart. Just try not to headbang the hell out of your laptop. Go!

Description : Here is my contribution to the mixing and mastering competition hosted by ShortBusMusic. Spent quite a bit of time on this one, and it was mainly a morning activity for me - the song seemed to suit that feeling. Quite a bit of detail work went into the mix. Tried to keep much of the dynamics intact. Hope I have kept to the guidelines in an acceptable way. Description : First Of all I'd like to thank All the contributors of samples to this site much Appreciated. In this traQ I used 2 beats one at the beginning and one is the foundation of the traQ, I never use one beat I layer my traQs with about 3,4 or more beats to get a different sound plus effectsin Logic. A big fan of Pat Metheny I was learning a guitar part from the way up album. Wanted to color way out the box so the foundation beat here I couldn't resist (Thank U looperman-l-0373650-0057551-gman15-killer-drum-loop.wav and looperman-l-0676737-0065505-dontrale1-clockwork-snare-and-clap.wav) I felt the Pat part I learned didn't go so I put it at the end and came up with a different guitar part that fit perfectly with this traQ. I'm an Instrumentalist who's goal is to create not just for radio but for movies/TV etc. I listen to all genres especially jazz but when I create I fuze sounds together.....I'm not pop or R&B country jazz...I just like creating good music.
