Description : EDIT: you can download the full album for free http://mrwolf14.bandcamp.com ....... EDIT 19.Feb 2015: removed some bass frequencies (-12db rolloff at 30Hz). Minor correction to my "vocals". ...............
Number 4 of my "album".
This one was already on looperman but I have changed a lot since that version (thanks to your precious inputs).
It includes a wonderful vocal part from 3v3sound:
All the rest played and programmed by your humble MrWolf.

WOW what an outstanding piece, beautiful clarity/arrangement/the whole lot brilliant, this sounds like should on radio matey...Nothing more to add but admiration and respect...Hear some great stuff here when reviewing, occasionally one hits you being something special, and this is one of them....Made my night hearing this being the last track reviewing before bed...MASSIVE fav...Thank you...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
well Domenico...I had to stop back here and give you hell (HaHa)...you are being way to hard on yourself man...I think the bass goes just fine with this one...its not too low and I think you have gotten rid of any of those mud frequencies between 2 & 400...I find I often boost the bass a bit around 80 Hz where it really seems to hit the big lows nicely...and the vocal is good...I personally like to hear a little warmth in the vocal especially in a mix like this where it smooths out nicely.....anyway....give yourself a pat on the back my friend...it sounds good and so do you (isn`t it funny how most of us don`t like the sound of our own voices...I wouldn`t dare sing myself).........Keep on doing it......Ed
Thanks Ed for your support.
I have uploaded a new version where I decreased a bit the frequencies between 150 and 350Hz: that's to say that I think you are right. :-)
I did not boost the bass (yet?) … need to listen on good speakers before.
I really appreciate your advices and your kind words.
Take care, Domenico
I can hear that you must have put a lot of thought and work into this mix Domenico...its really good...very nice contrast and yet in sync with the two voices...You really did a great job on this one (as usual)..The mix sounds good......Ed...(PS..human hearing doesn`t on average go below 30hz when its petfect...you can cut up to 40-50 & likely not hear the different except the amount of air the speakers move),,,
Thanks for the kind words Ed. You are too kind as usual.
And you are right with your comment on the low freqs: I usually put a low cut on 30Hz on "everything that I record". In this case I am having problems because I have some deep synth notes which may create some problems.
And I have probably still too much bass-freqs on my voice: trying to hide myself. I cannot sing and I am not too sure of my English pronunciation...I need to get over this.
Once more: thanks!
Ciao, Domenico
Very nice song Domenico. I like the opposing vocal styles, one talking and one singing, it works well with the music, a ballad pop/rock song. Every song needs that gut wrenching guitar to pull at the heartstrings a bit. Nice tone and phrasing on the guitar, really helps build the song and create emotion. Great use of strings and piano which to me can set that ballad feel on their own.
Your vocals could cut through a bit more, maybe too much bass on them. Seems like you plan to adjust the bass a bit. That would be my only suggestion, other than that this is a very pretty song, well done!
Thanks Wayne: the problem with my "vocals" is that I don't trust my voice that much...so it is very hard for me to have it "clear in the mix" :-)
I am working on reducing the lows: I usually work with earphones and there the "natural low cut" is hiding the problem.
Thanks again for the input!

your vocals blend very beautifully into your mix. also like the drum sound you get as well. very full and rich. nice work! I feel in general you could cut the lows a bit on the mix. All the best. Dan
Thanks for the kind words Dan...
I was actually thinking of adding a low-cut filter to the mix, to clean it up a bit. Thanks for pointing this out!

Description : This one has been sitting on my computer for a bit now but didn't really like it. My friends say it can use some vocals and I think that is what this one needs. If there is anyone who wants to put some vocals on this, send me an email at .magic41151@yahoo.com. or post below. Thanks for tuning in and have a great day!
