Description : Not a horror jazz or experimental this time. There are a lot of guitar based and rock tracks here on LM. So this is my little one I am fancy to share. We are recording album after 7 years of brake, really liked how organic this little simple fusion\urban jazz part sounds at this point wwithout a lot of post production. Not happy with snare drum sound (bottom mic was placed to far from the strings, ghost notes are dim and lame, haha). So just a moment when it sounds oddly organic and I like it.

Description : Technology is great, I haven't had a chance to play with this drummer since the 1970s. He's in Texas and I'm in South Carolina. He sent me a link to this track with him on drums and Electric Piano. I added the rest. I can't wait to put together some more tracks with him. This track has 4 min. of jazz then 2 min 50 sec. of fusion.

Description : This may be a first for Looperman and one or two of you may even like it (but I doubt too many more will.) This is a New Orleans or Dixieland style jazz track and I don't believe I've ever heard this style here. Dixieland is one of the oldest styles of jazz in America (although they didn't call it this back then) and it's still quite popular in New Orleans. I had the pleasure of playing this style at Seville Quarter, Pensacola, FL., back in my younger years. I did this track for my 93 year old Uncle John, who loves Dixieland. Hope you like it.

Description : Here's a Jazz/Funk track I'm working. This will feature alot of live adlib and freestyle play on my keyboard. So far it has brass and woodwinds with some funky drum patterns and a shaker. Also, the first few seconds is me playing the Jazz Guitar live on my keyboard. Description : First Of all I'd like to thank All the contributors of samples to this site much Appreciated. In this traQ I used 2 beats one at the beginning and one is the foundation of the traQ, I never use one beat I layer my traQs with about 3,4 or more beats to get a different sound plus effectsin Logic. A big fan of Pat Metheny I was learning a guitar part from the way up album. Wanted to color way out the box so the foundation beat here I couldn't resist (Thank U looperman-l-0373650-0057551-gman15-killer-drum-loop.wav and looperman-l-0676737-0065505-dontrale1-clockwork-snare-and-clap.wav) I felt the Pat part I learned didn't go so I put it at the end and came up with a different guitar part that fit perfectly with this traQ. I'm an Instrumentalist who's goal is to create not just for radio but for movies/TV etc. I listen to all genres especially jazz but when I create I fuze sounds together.....I'm not pop or R&B country jazz...I just like creating good music. Description : This song highlights a few different styles of jazz. First it starts with a kinda early 20s and 30s groove. Than it melds into a New Orleans style. Than into a sort of Maynard Ferguson big band jazz/rock groove, and finishing off with the 20s and 30s style again, all held together with some cool horns and bass. All n all, it's...Pretty Cool! Description : Probably the greatest banj-metal-hiphop-jazz joint ever. With lead saxophone, house bass, rock and metal guitars, Eastern banjo, jazz and hip hop drums and a tasty dose of drum and bass thrown squarely in your face. You can headbang or throw some body-poppin hippity-hoppity shapes to this mofo, for real. A lot of genres covered in 7 minutes so hopefully the time will fly by. And, yes, there really is acoustic banjo as a lead instrument on top of some crunching and crashing metal guitar and drums. Long live Banj Metal!

Description : Nu-Jazz groove featuring LisMarie from LooperMan and her autotuned solo 'Chase'. I put her solo on a chilled plate, adding lots of floating percussion and strings inspired by Claus Ogerman (who did the Bossa Nova album of Frank Sinatra) hoping to create a melancholic atmosphere while still jiving. I especially like this because her singing is like a jazz instrument. Sometimes on, sometimes slightly after of before the beat. I did not try to sync, because I like it better this way. It gives the song a 'live' feeling.
