Description : started as country - turned a bit reggae ! ? changed as i experimented and added differant loops, i have a limited selection of guitar and keyboard leads so i tried to cut and patch them to give a melody to the tune, i f anyone can realy play and can think of a better lead or melody for this i would be very pleased to share, get in touch, or if you can add vocals i would welcome them. take a listen and let me know what you think, cheers

Description : Just produced using a bass plus various effects and drum loops from Riffworks. Song is about how nationalism even if approached from a socialist angle is still very dodgy! We only need to look from WWII to present to view how it goes. Entirely me on this song. First ever rap song ever recorded. A bit TOO much like The Streets and changed vocal style to appear like MORE rappers than there were..

Description : simple reggae tune put together entirely from EJ2 loops, found burried on my hardrive, ej2 is quite a few years old now and the loops rather limited but i think it came out ok, used a couple of loops in reverse just to be a bit differant, anyone spot them ?, enjoy and let me know what you think, thanks.

Description : Another collab with Califken...he uploaded the music to his profile and asked me to listen to it. When I heard it I just had to jump on it and thus, SUPERCHARGED was born!! It's a bit short but it could be great for a commercial or something. Enjoy!

Description : A piece which is bordering on soundtrack music (possibly could fit into a John Carpenter film somewhere).
In this track I have used instruments from Golden ASET by ArtVera, Alchemy (mainly a new bank of presets just released called Planet Earth) and good old Absynth.
I have just recently upgrade my DAW to Sonar Producer 64 bit. Again, put myself onto a learning curve but this is the first track off the production line. The last part of the arpeggiator reminds me of SanJacinto by Peter Gabriel.

Description : basic popish track, took acapella loop from "colesade" and tweaked it a bit with reverb & echo's then added some drum and acoustic guitars, simple but ok i think - could do more with additional verses

Description : Even though the beat is incomplete (Still trying to layer the drums a bit more, and throw some ambiance in the background) I thought it was decent enough to post up here.

Kind of melodramatic, all natural instruments (orchestral, 12 string) except for the chorus bassline and the drumkit.

Description : This is a kinda dark atmospheric D&B track. I used one of DJ Aeriths pellas for this one. (Thank You Moon Whisper) I made a good majority of this with headphones so the levels might be off a lil bit. If they are way off please do let I know so I can fix it. Description : I haven't created a song in a couple months now. I am a bit rusty (hence the title). I have been messing around trying to get a selection of instruments together so that I may start creating a more consistent style of music (though I have no idea what genre it will end up being related to).

This is something I kind of threw together today to try to get an idea of how some of my instruments will work together so that I may begin tweaking them. I may end up working more on it and adding vocals, but I haven't decided yet.

I would really love to hear some technical feed back. I have the feeling it my either have to much treble or compression. I would love any nit picking advice you are willing to offer on it.

Description : a collection of piano and orchestera to give a basic backdrop to a rapper or RnB tune, dont do much of this stuff so may be a bit repetative but i liked the blend of Pianosounds loops with the orch loops, easily chopped as you like, any suggestions on how to improve ?

Used Pro Tools 8 for this comp. FXpansion Guru for the drums, with a little drum spice from Xpand2. All of the instruments (there aren't many) are also from Xpand2.

I had this comp done before I found this acapella, so I had to touch the pitch of the chorus down a bit. I also 7band EQ'd the verse vocals (took away LF, LMF and MF, added some HMF and HF). Nothing extremely special, just needed to give it a more studio quality sound.

@Xtaticauk: Good advice. You were right, it does make it a bit better.
I did everything but make kinky love to the main loops, and I just can't get them to run smoothly without distorting them really badly. >< If only! Ah, the limits of Acid.

Description : Update: New amps sounds a bit differnent in a new mix and with a new master. The song remains the same, though.

This is another heavy rock song (I've got two left to release). It started out as a tiny riff on my fretboard – I recorded it right away and as the take went on, the chords just came. I played up to 1:50 before I cut the recording and started editing. This track came strait out.

Description : This is a remix(re of some kind more or less) for 'A Drowning' by How To Destroy Angels. I'll say I'm kinda hesitant to put it up. It's got some great sounds and new ideas, but I felt it was...not fully fleshed out in the end. Not to say it I don't like it. I've listened to it for the past two weeks before putting it up here. It's also not a quick remix. Nothing against anyone that does that. I'm just slow lol. In all seriousness, it was quit a bit of work. I can go on and on about how I set up all my instruments, the methods I used to make some string sections, etc.. The most I can say is, the first verse is more thought out than the second(only two in it). The bridge passage is from the original. That bridge really p*ssed me off. In the end I had to use the original tracks version. I'm not thrilled with it, but lack of creativity hits and its a punch in the face back to reality. The second verse is pretty back to form as the original. Not complex but felt like it put it back in place I guess. Then an outro that pretty much tails off. Most of what took the longest was the mix(s). Over and Over and Over... Headphones, Monitor, Ipod, CD... Just a constant "this still sounds like sh*t" mentality. It probably still does sound like sh*t in all honesty. I'm my worst critic lol. I'm ranting now. Anyway, this isn't the final. I put it here to receive some critic and maybe another pair of fresh ears response. This isn't mastered. Just mixed. I don't think making it all compressed and loud is going to help. It's also going up in Orchestral cause it's kinda orchestral maybe? Idk.

Description : Its a bit experimental. worked it around a sample from a Kill Kenada track that i messed with in gross beat. its now got a really dirty electro kind of bass feel to it. i then added some layers to it round 3 piano chords and tried to give it a nice funky feel, with some breaks for tension.
Have tried to master it slightly to try and tame some of those sounds, but to be honest i dont really know what im doing!
