Fire In The Air - Planetjazzbass

Description : This track is a direct response to an unfavorable comment made about a 22Catch acapella..(the one used in this song).....it's a genre I've never done, but I felt the best way to deal with some uncalled for criticism was to see what I could do with it.......I really dig Mike's effort here and what he's got to say is solid....I hope I haven't done too poorly by it.

I like finding these old gems hidden in the Looperman archive...
I listened to this after hearing Psychotropic's version: your version is more a "song" in the classical sense. MrPC has "spread" some jazzy-feeling over it, which provided a completely different result.
I love both versions!
Well done (but I was expecting nothing less by our MrPJB!)
Ciao, Domenico

Hey man, this is really good! I like the style of it, and you've worked with the vocals very well! I'm starting a hip hop/rap sort of show on loopradio.net and I'd like to play this if it's okay? Thanks for the DL!

Many elements to gush over.
Style points and story joints.
Chronically speaking, nice work.

I actually thought the levels were perfect.

This is nuts! (LMAO @ splish's comment)

I like it!

That accapella has done some good in general.

Drums more in the mix maybe?

This is a keeper.

This is great! I remember reading that poor review. I couldn't help but blast the dude. Maybe that wasn't the right thing to do but it felt great to slam the slammer. :) Great mix. Pep

Funky!! Very interesting mix...sorta like if Mos Def was to do a track with Jamiroquai or something...Another very alien sounding track...picture Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope...Obi-Wan and Luke meeting Han Solo for the first time...

Umm, originally was just wanting to go with the 'Proto' part, but like a political campaign it just kept growing and growing...

Anyways, first thoughts are disassociated with this track and are- That's one super sweet painting you've got for yer avatar!

As for the song, it's an interesting jump going from Green Day's Walking Contradiction to this. It's pure underground funky freshness. I'm def gon fav it and D/L if I can.

I'm really lovin this man. From the soft ambient keys to the Electro beats and finally capped by this superb Rap. Massive props to all involved on this. Five out of five stars mate!

freaking shweetz !!!!!!! I love it ! this turned out real good, perfect retaliation track for an out of place comment on an absolutely perfect
a cappella, good tune, nice music, and great lyrics, of which I can relate to I have been smoking the ganga since I was 16! pretty much daily on an average, well i'm 44 years old now, and have been rope sober for 48 days now! first 2 weeks were interesting to
say the least, but I'm fine now and some what proud of myself, the new woman in my life led me to realize I needed to change!
don't get me wrong, she didn't ask me to change or stop, in fact she liked me just the way i was, and that would have been fine!
but I needed a better job and had to move on in my mind so there you go! "It can be done!"
"Take it from an old redneck hillbilly from corn
country"...................................:-}

Perfect Tune,

Description : For some odd reason, the titular acapella I used for this remix had vanished from Looperman. Luckily, I saved it before it disappeared.

Anyway, props to Stephanie Kay for this acapella! I've always wanted to remix Stars Collide, but I never got around to finally making a good instrumental for it. The acapella was akin to that of Genki Rockets' work (ESPECIALLY the lyrics), so I tried to retain the same vibe. Enjoy!

Description : This is a worship song celebrating God's beautiful creation, unfailing grace, and boundless love. It reflects on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the gift of salvation, and the light of God that shines even in the deepest darkness. It is a reminder to rise each day with gratitude and give praise to the One who saves, guides, and sustains us.
