The beats on this remind me of some action movie (like the stuff that plays during the intro of the main characters or during the outro, post climax when the lead is making either the mission statement of his/her group, the film, or is announcing their version of "Happily ever-after"). And despite the somewhat slower flow of the synths on this I think that it creates an interesting dynamic to the fast paced drums. In a way, creating a sort of Lounge-ish vibe to the song. As if the song itself is a duality (like the epidermis of skin or water-table, separating gas from liquid... inside from outside). In a way, it's as if you've captured the voice of contemplation here. Creating a soundtrack for our inner-monologues (or firing neural synapses... which gave me a thought, since they're electrical impulses, I wonder what sort of sound they produce, if any). Cool stuff here mate. Would make for a great video. Lates!
