Listen To The Dunes (Dream Ending) Fusion Song By ParkerMusic At Looperman.com

6th Oct 2010 18:07 - 14 years ago
Description : This track has more of a world music feel. Maybe a Chill track. The whole genre thing is difficult for me...lol Thanks to loopers pianosounds, dj4real, sterixx and sector7 for the loops. Hope you enjoy.

Love the sitar and the ethnic feel this track has. I'd love to leave a review for all your tracks but you have too many! Good work it's awesome to find well produced tracks that I just instantly fall in love with. It's a great feeling when that happens. Gonna be downloading a lot of your tracks! Maybe a colab sometime?

I got to play on a sitar 2x back when I lived in Seattle. It was rough, as the sound was so sweet that my eyes would tear up after a few riffs. Like the kora, I turned down babysitting the instrument as I new it'd cause me to flunk out of grad school. I'd end up sitting for hours just tuning the thing.

This is lovely work. Very visual, and emotional.

Faved.

Quite lovely, you've done a great job fusing various "acts" throughout the piece, I also have a personal lean towards worldly so appreciate the sounds, well done sir - DF

This is very nice. Ambient in feeling and moody. Creates a nice atmosphere. Easy listening but interesting and calming. Very good.

Love this, very 'worldly' so many influences from the pallet you have chosen, especially like the sitar driven by that rhythm section and the bells. It is quite chilled and I find this relaxing

I think fusion might be the right choice for what is offered. I would agree with you that world music or new age would better describe it.

It def has some nice ethnic sounds and percussion and the guitar added a nice touch to the first part of the song with more of a straight up beat. I like the title too. Overall, I liked it, sweet track, would have dl'd it if offered so I'll just fav it. Nice job putting this together ParkerMusic!

==============
Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.

Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^

Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.

After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
