Yeah Chris, that is getting better. Your percussion loops still get out of tempo at times.... Remember "snap to the grid" with your loops and samples. The synth work is good, I like your vocal stuff in this track and the other one as well. It actually has some what of a structure musically (applause applause applause).... good for you. It kind of has an ABCA format, so the recap at the end when you bring the A section back really closes the track up nicely and gives it a finish. It also makes it far more interesting to listen to than a minimal track that doesn't develop at all. I think at times there are too many things going on in the track which makes it really muddy and garbled but there are points in the track that are really quite nice. A great art composition still not much of a dance track, but if you wanted it to be an art composition... you nailed it. Chris, I would suggest writing your own drum and percussion tracks rather than looping samples of somebody elses work. As a composer, you will get more satisfaction from the composition as a whole if it was all composed by you. Plus writing your own drum and percussion tracks I'm sure would solve your "rushing" and "dragging" problems with the percussion. It's exciting.... remember when we were writing the percussion tracks to "The Last Sunset" and how adding different patterns changed the feel of it... Plus using a drum kit program also eliminates the sound quality differences in the looped samples you use. Keep up the good work buddy.
Hey Man! Really like the heavy percussion you got in here along with the infectious melodies! Really nice stuff and work really well into creating a cool tribalistic style house track! Nice Work!!
hey man I think it sounds pretty good... At times that drums may have gotten a little outta sync with the over all melody of the song but maybe that's what you were going for... Anyways sounds good keep up the good work...
all rite! i was wondering when id get to hear those percussion tracks. you worked them in well. you got some really good stuff happening here. good job! i should be sending you the loop pack i promised within the week here. peace and bless Ark(Justin).
I can tell you really like percussion, and use it really well as a foundation for the other things you weave in. Have you found psychotropic_circle's loops here yet? You'll dig the percussion he/they've made available. Lots of ethnic flavors that really lend themselves to percussion driven music.
Oh I really like that synth that kind of wavers! Awesome composition on this one. That bass is crazy, never heard anything quite like it. The beats don't suggest house to me, but I like them all the same. Very cool track!
Description : Unofficial preview* of my upcoming first produced track named Therapy. Litterly a cut out of the track. Uploaded with first thought of letting it hear to a fellow Looperman member for a possible collab later on.
Comments are welcome tho!
About the preview, after the drop will start to another semi drop and with an harder more rawish main chorus part behind. Everything is as good as done now and being checked by demo listeners for response and feedback before getting a last hand at mixing&mastering.
Description : My first house song (on looperman). It's actually mix of progressive and dutch house. Hope you'll enjoy this! :) If you have time you can leave feedback, it's always appreciated!
Description : Ugly ass witch house beat that isn't technically a house beat. (The Drum Track is by LM's Danke.) The Track's based on an older beat of mine with the same name. This version's half as long & not as busy. The Synths are Synthmaster, Massive, Dark Keys & Creep Piano. And of course, It wouldn't be a Clickbait Cabaret beat without nine zillion FX plugins. Pretty sure all of them are on this beat.
Description : check out janimifsson for these vocals
learning how to do house
good vocal effects
terrible drums
couldnt find a melodic loop to fit the track
figured out the key
the harmony basically matches the melody
probably in some dorian scale or something so
have to learn about that
the drums are my weakest point
good at the start but awful after the beat drop
please comment any songs to listen to to learn drums in this style
any advice please comment

Description : As I was in Berlin recently I was inspired by the Beachhouse Radio from FluxFM . I had a beat lying in a cupboard for years and it was time to do something with it. Together with the great voice of Odarka I did setup a beat that does have a deep feeling to it. I kept it raw and unmastered for now. Let's see where it goes.

great work....your percussion used adds that little extra....bass is really solid and the vocals add to the overall insanity
