Description : A unique opportunity arose for me last weekend to meet one of my all time saxophone hero's. I had arranged for all of my pupils on woodwind to have master classes with Snake Davis. Now some of you might know him, but I can imagine the majority of you are saying WHO! Well this guy plays with the cream, Paul McCartney, Amy Winehouse,Lisa Stansfield,M People ect.... One of the things which came out of these five sessions was the ability to play solo, no band or instruments, just one saxophone holding a melody/solo with chord changes, and making sure it sounds good. So hey ho I gave it a bash this morning and recorded this first time through, I'm really happy with it and if you all agree, then I will chop it into loops so you can all play as well, cheers Slap...

Description : This is my attempt at the one-hour challenge for LM (finished at 57 min 48 sec). I had to mix/master on the go and this was the result. Some bad chords here and there that I did my best to conceal, one-takes on guitar and piano and used an awesome acapella from a1000times, who wrote the words that Dikaiko sang over. I really like her voice. Anyhoo yea, I like this one a lot so probably gonna come back to this in the near future. Comments welcome.

Description : I put this under acoustic even though I did use a couple midi tracks. I felt they sounded acoustic enough to put the track in that category. Suppose it could be chill out as well, however you want to label it, do so. I used an Indian flute and an electric guitar sounding plugin with some tremolo added along with acoustic guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Nothing too complicated here and I felt it sounded good enough to upload so enjoy!

wow, ive never honestly listened to a sax solo just to listen to one until today. well in my opinion F@*KING EXCELLENT! so smooth with the melody intact throughout. timing perfect with the smoothest transitions. you absolutely have a gift and look forward to using some of those samples your gonna supply. ive never used sax before but after hearing what i just heard, im looking forward to the project. just an idea, what about you and bilbozo doing a colab? that would be something...maybe mrrobots loops/samples and arrangement.
