Listen To Eshar- Still Tribal (DVs Angry Ants Rmx) Deep House Song By DonnieVyros At Looperman.com

Description : So this is something I spoke with Esh about doin mid-last year and she sent me an email with the stems that I completely forgot about. Discovered the Zip file with 'em the other day when I noticed the 'attachments' part of my email thingy. Thought it was odd (and I guess new) so I clicked on it to see what it was all about. And in the 175 messages with attachments is where I rediscovered the email she sent me.

So 1, 2, skip a few and I started working on the Hard House version you hear now (but since that aint an option I put it in Deep House instead, amirite or no?). Originally I had started work on another project for this in the attempt to do a more beats/breakish focused mix, but when I started messin with one of the bass loops she sent me I opted to take it in this direction instead.

I'll also be adding some of the loops I made for this mix (so yall can play with 'em too). Anyways, I hope yall dig this joint I rolled for ya. Later on!

PS. Opps, almost forgot that I used one of Mhyst's loops from the Awakening remix competition too.

I must say, that was one hell of a fun ride. Great mix of sounds moving at just the right pace and ever so friendly to the ear :-)

I like it.

Nice toon mate, thanks for suggesting it. As for this one, yeah I had a whole mess of fun making it. I kinda had a feeling it would be going all the way back (years ago) when I first heard Elaine's original. Glad ya dug it mate. Lates!

NP@all mate. Esh is really the one we should be thanking here. If it wasn't for her killer original this wouldn't've even been dreamt of. I really had fun messin with this one once I rediscovered the email w/stems she had sent me. Glad ya dug it. Later on!

Haha, thanks mate. Well my total armor point value is somewhere in the neighborhood of 23000 so when pitted against other mid-range SVs I can stand my own for a couple of hours. Glad ya dug it. Later on!

Not used to this kind of music - kind of all over the place, but i guess it's what it is when working with loops eh? Nonetheless got a good vibe going, it's pretty constant throughout.
Keep working on!

Yeah, a good percentage of this was loop based (save for the intro bass stuff and drums I rolled for this). And the all-over-the-place feel this has was my way of trying to encapsulate a global sense of the word 'tribal' in the title, but in a modern sense, ya know? Anyways, glad ya dug it. Later on!

The fading was really nice and smooth. I really like the intro pad...the verb on it gave it a unique sound. I thought some drum patters you chose immulated ant feet and the synth were the bites... Also with the fading...nice job of still having depth from whats left after the other sounds leave.

Yeah, when I was listening to this as it progressed I kept seein lines of ants marching away from a picnic basket or the way they swarm when someone's stepped on their mound. And the conversion part at the end was done to give tribute to the original (since this is so vastly different). Downside is that I don't think Eshar has the original of this up any longer (shrugs). Glad ya dug it. Later on!

This track is down right menacing! Pretty hellish, really like it. Heard some familiar sounding loops at the end. Killer track Donnie. I really like how everything blends in and out; very smooth indeed. Great work.--Jack Ripper

Prech that mate. I was thinkin that this had that vibe to it so that's where the idea for the remix name came from. This is a continuation of what I did with the Crystal Method remix I did (though more original sided here). Those familiar sounds at the end were from the original mix, unedited (save for the volume drop on the last ones to make the track fade out). Glad ya dug it. Later on!

Description : An attempt at writing a deep house track. Recorded in some guitar, chopped out some loops and built the track around it. Not sure if you could call it a deep house track though but there you go.

Description : A slightly hypnotic song here, a little impulsive but also comes very relaxing.
As always tinged slightly dark.
I knew again not what kind of a genre it is really.
Therefore, it is under Deep House because that fits in my opinion, quite good. But who knows ....
Who wants to understand the text, but not be German, which can be read by a translation.
To see under - Lyrics ....
Hopefully you like this song - feedback would be nice.

Description : So I took just one pad phrase that Alex wrote and built this monstrosity entirely around it. A gentle deep house ambient sentiment with soft jazzy pianos and deep and dirty bass withs lots and lots of percussion. I really like this one And I hope you do too!

Description : Instrumental version - NOT THE FINAL MIX
Used loops and vox by Joe Funktastic, Loop by Sharpnotes, vox by Sheba (who doesn't seem to be on this site anymore). If I've left anyone out I'll come back and edit this.

Anyway, I haven't uploaded anything in a while after a death in the family. Hope to remedy that with more tracks.

Description : Now for a bit lighter topic I thought I uploaded one of my most recent tracks. I wanted to make a very deep synth and think I managed to do so. Build up to the 2nd part really gives it more depth. Let me know if you like it or give me hints to make it better. I did not use an actual drop in this. Thought it did not fit the track.
