Description : Updated-Nov 25,09
Here in Montreal, on Sundays in Mount Royal park during the summer, there's a bunch of lads that dress up in medivel armor (styrofoam) brandishing swords and sheilds (more styrofoam) of the same, and enthusiastically attack each other. Added to the fray are other lads on bicycles with jousting poles. Well, one time around 2002 ( it was covered in the Montreal Gazette ). A bunch of other people decided to stir things up ( as if that was needed ). So, they all dressed up as zombies (including zombie makeup ) and met at the local McDonalds to plot strategy to visit the park and introduce themselves. ( zombies ... strategy ??? ). The manager of McDonalds was not impressed, saying to them 'No, brains are not on the menu ! Please leave now and pick up your appenages from the floor on your way out.
Well, to make a long story short, they all gathered quietly in the woods and emerged from the tree line of the park and all at once, lurching forward moaning and groaning for all they were worth. After a very short startlement, a cry went out. "Tabernac ! Les Zombies !" ( approximate translation "WTF ! Zombies ! ). The medivel combatants quickly formed an impressive battle line and charged forward screaming ( in both offical languages of the country )... Well, you can imagine what happened...zombies getting whacked, arms falling off, zombies dying slowly, only to rise once more and try to bite everyone not zombie...there were pictures, anyhow....ZOMBIES !!!!!!!

updated - Oct 4,09 - Ok, not my best work - it kinda fell off a bit and I'm worried about the repetition level, anyhow, I put some lipsick on this pig, I don't think she can hold anymore - that's enough for now. I'll let it wallow around a bit before I take it to the slaughter house.

My loops, Magix.

A work in progress, for halloween...bwaaa haaa haaaa.....

My thanks for your kind words. They are truly appreciated. I used to play french horn in high school ( badly ) and at one time ( before I discovered Jimi Hendrix ) i was addicted to brass. I was surprised when I automatically brought the sounds into being.

I guess I'm a little late to the party and I've already given the fish I caught away. Rats! BCWay, you're one of my idles and I do love your crazy tracks. I can't hold a candle to the images and feeliings you evoke with tracks like this one. It is complex in its use of instruments, sounds and moods created. I think I detected some DNA of mine on one of your keyboards or whatever you call that thing with knobs on it.

Hey hey hey !!! I've been away for a very long time. Mostly because I just didn't feel like it because of my face all bandaged up. And when I did try to do something, it sounded like what I had already done or it sound cheapo - ticked me off it did. All of this has nothing do do with our zombie friends. Anyhow, thank you for the review and I will drop in and abuse....err...i mean have a listen to your new tracks.

I loved your story about this song in the description. Kinda dark and menacing and I like the sounds you used to create this.

I'm trying to picture zombie arms at McDonalds and how everyone mut have reacted to them in public, lol. The whole event at the park must have been a hoot!! Wish I saw that!!

LOL, ya, they did publish a couple of pictures in the Montreal Gazette with the story, on page 2 no less, of the Sunday issue. I remember that clearly enough, but I forget things like to bring home cat food when asked - oh well, back to zombies ...

I am pleased you enjoyed it, so download away my friend, but be aware - this may attract them thar zombies...

Nothing wrong with putting lipstick on a pig. I thought it was a cool track. I can hear it with some smokin' guitar.

Thank you for reviewing the track - you have made a very good suggestion about the guitar track. I never thought of it, and this is another reason why this is a great site. One day I will revisit the track and apply your idea, I will have to look at other software since Magix is royaly ticking me off...
If I may say sir, you create oustanding tracks - I stand in awe...

Description : A song I wrote over a guitar track that I found on YouTube. Link to the original track can be found below.

Have been attempting to write 2-3 songs over the past couple of months with little success, when this one just appeared out of nowhere.

It's a bit odd I guess (which is why I tagged it as weird) but I enjoyed creating and listening back to it, so here it is.

Thank you!

Description : Many of strangeness here ....
A link between two musical worlds quite different but united in this message of harmony.
"Silverpaw" (former Looperman) had in the depths of one of its hard drives, this arrangement that I made the past year: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/120846
He decided to bring this theme, with a text and this voice ....
Very surreal but I really enjoyed ....

I hope it will be the same for you.

Thank you for listening.

Description : I am quite open to all kind of music out there. This time I had some Church organ pipes lying around. With the help of 2nick8 and IMHO one of his best songs out there I put him into a big room and let the organs speak. Yes, maybe weird, maybe different, maybe 2nick8 will throw some egg against me ... I did it. What do you all think of it? (I changed the Genre to "Weird" in the meantime but "Experimental" would do also.

Description : Hey guys! Well, this is the first time I upload a song with my voice. I have to confess that this is not a style I usually sing. And, as an extra point, this is my first song in english. My native language is spanish, my english is not perfect, so sorry for mistakes (grammar, pronunciation, etc). Well, about lyrics, I explain the story on description of the instrumental version. If you want to read the story or hear the instrumental track, go here [ https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/146653 ]. This song was made on Magix Music Maker 2013 Premium and Adobe Audition 3.0. I hope you like it. Thanks! SUN & MOON... FIRE & ICE HEART... LIGHT & DARK FUSION...

Description : I wanted to do something different, TheFrenz sent me the stems to his excellent track 'Transformer' - And only one of the several versions of the track, using many of the same elements each time.
So I threw my hat in the ring with a version of my own, taking the elements of Transformer and doing some transforming. It only makes the song title that much more awesome. Music can certainly be transformed, taken to its next form...and the music can also be what transforms US. Pretty deep, man.
