Description : Sept 4, changed the name - It's what John Wayne said in True Grit before hostilites broke out. I've used this line on the wife over the last piece of chocolate cake - you had to be there.
First off - a great big thank you to Sterixx who supplied terrific keyboard work - he should not be blamed or served with lawyers letters if this offends anyone. Anyhow, got me a light snake. Wooot !!! Plugged in my base and guitar and off I went, and then experimented with the drums (guitar track in middle-not mine- from Looperman). Do not expect any finesse. This was a bit of a celebration ( name of track notwithstanding ) rather than wanting to knock any body’s socks off. As usual I was having a bit of fun.

Chocolate cake is the best ! that and some fresh coffee.
Lately I have not had time to visit Looperman and I will not have much until maybe the weekend where I will have a listen of your tracks. You have a very interesting style.
chit man...im freaken crying i can not stop laughing at these descriptions..wow i can only imagine what happend after you told her that...
as for the track great work man i love it!
It gets like that around here. Sometimes it starts off so innocently and then some damn fool with too much mischeif in the their blood says something to inflame matters...take for example the legendary "Monkey Brains Incedent"...
A really fun track - motivates movement, and I'm a sucker for anything that makes me want to dance. And those synth loops are damned HAPPY sounding that I have to grin as I bop along to it! I actually found myself remembering how much I liked the early Men Without Hats tunes on my first play of this (weren't they a Toronto band?)
This would be brilliant if you polished it a bit more. But you're absolutely right, if you're not having fun, what's the bloody point. Keep having fun and making such fun music!
4th play - added to may faved list. Dude, I so dig your bass work on this! This is great stuff!
Wow, thanks dude, great review. I'm very pleased that you enjoyed it.
Usually when I play bass, I kinda overdo it a bit, but for some reason when I plug in to record, I make a concerted effort to be tasty, and, bring a support concept to the track - sometimes it's difficult when having lived the life on stage and so used to being the center of attention...but I digress ( as usual {sigh} )...
Men without Hats...trying to remember...I may be confusing them with another Kanuckistan group from Quebec... Did they do Saftey Dance ?
This is a very fun track. The bass playing is very cool! I like the steppy feel of the track, if that makes any sense. The energy in this track builds up really nicely, and then fades away quickly and quietly. Really cool use of loops on this one. Great work overall!
Thank you Spivkurl for taking the time to listen and review my track. It means a lot since you are one of my top 5 favorite artists on this site.
Having fun with music is one of the very few great escapes in my life, away from the daily bull crap of my life. Fun is one thing, but when it is enjoyed by others, it's like icing on the cake. Thanks again.
Some of these loops seem a lil familiar..but who knows. This track rocked!! Loved the drumbeat and the guitar was fitted perfectly into this track. There may be a couple of spots that could use a lil tweaking here and there, but nothing major. This is a solid track..well done!
Thank you for the review. The synth loops are from Sterixx, there is a guitar track from Looperman but sadly I do not remember from who. The base is me (woooot first time using the lightsnake) and the drums I prog'd myself.
Oh yes definitly some spots can use tweaking, unfortunatly I lack finesse, patience and the time to make it more presentable, my primary motivation is the fun of it. Most of my tracks are a little rough around the edges - it seems I put more thought into naming the tracks than engineering :) Anyhow, thank you for the review.
Sweet track.loved the bass and guitar work.similar style to the group Justice.loved the Sterixx loops.i've download alot of his same loops, just havent had a chance to make anything with them yet.lol.anyhoo-Great track }:)-
I have not heard of Justice - I must check them out.
Sterixx is a prolific creator, top notch stuff.
Thank you for your review - I had a great time doing it.

Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.
Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.
After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
Description : I had to go in on this track. This is a future bass, electrofusion song. I posted the full version here full the Looperfam because you guys give me sooooo much support. I can never thank you all enough.
