Description : This is a song I wrote in 1990. I was in a band called Spoiled Brat with this phenom guitar player that was seriously full of himself. I was programming sequences on an Ensoniq EPS back then. (for my self, not the band) I programmed the drums, bass, and Acoustic guitars, while Troy McDowell did the guitar. A great singer friend did the vocals named Jimi Chappell. I wrote the words and music. This is for all you guitar players out there in LooperWorld. Please let me know what ya think. Rock on!

Hey my friend, I stopped by for a piano lesson, and ended up rocking out, haha. What a great track with some absolutely stellar guitar work. Hell, all of it is just top notch. I could hear the Skid Row "influence" but I also thought this one had a bit of "Journey" thrown in for good measure.
No matter, this was an amazing tune. Timeless.
And it proves that good music can transcend eras and genres. If it's good, it's good.
I remember the old 4 track recorders, lol, bouncing tracks down to sneak in a few extra instruments, seems like ancient history now.
I love this track. It definitely has an older rock feel to it that makes me feel quite nostalgic about that period. I think the guitar work is fine, it is just what was required for this piece. Vocals are great.
oh wow!!! the sound of this masterpiece immediately reminded me of Skid Row ... I need to grab out that LP ...
1990 ... where are the years gone??? that was a great time ...
thx a lot for this little time journey!!!
im not really a rock person anymore(more of a techno artise now)
but this song has a nice 80's feel to it,the guitar sounds clean and prfessional, love the vocals by jimi.overall the song is very catchy, good work devodale!
Good to hear a good rock track!
The song is really well structured and I really like the vocals and guitar playing(makes me think of some crossover between Guns and Queensryche somehow).Gonna check your other tracks.
Nice track. I think the guitars for the most part are pretty simple. Well placed but pretty run of the mill for that style. The soloing was cool and by far the highlight of the guitar playing. What really stuck out to me was the vocals, the sound quality (got that true 80's sound) and the overall structure. Kudos to you guys! Hopefully you dont take this as me being some kinda jerk!
Jerk?? Not at all. I totally respect your opinion....especially after that tune you wrote with my loops, pure genious. I programmed every single note (Ensoniq EPS)on the Drums, Bass and Acoustic guitar around 1990, and then a couple of friends did the guitar and vocal track as a birthday present to me in 1994. Troy did the electric guitar track in all one take, one track.(as he usually could!)and doesn't Jimi have a great voice? Considering this was done on an old Tascam 246 Cassette Recorder 4 trak, in my living room, I'm pretty proud of this one.
I plan on sending you some stuff to collab with soon. Do you have Reason 4???
Great track took me back to the late 80's early 90's power rock era, love the lyrics, and arrangments, guitar is great but I know what you mean some great musicians can be a pain because of their attitudes (shut up and play), not all only some, lol.
Really very nice guitar work with the effects and all.
Very cool lead work. Wish I could play like that more.
I like the vocals and the overall mix is very good. You can hear everything clearly and its nice to have the vocals out front.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : This song was not supposed to be the fourth track of "Diverse waves", but it finally is. Anyway it's a rock oriented track with some interesting sounds. I hope you like it. Worked in zenbeats DAW, by Roland.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
Description : This track was like the inhale after an exhale of aggressive industrial-electro-sludge tracks that I had put out that summer and fall. This was the more reserved, and introspective winter track. It's nothing spectacular, but I still really enjoy it. I hope you do too. Take care. V.
Description : when i was a kid you could go down and buy acid drops at the dairy - sour boiled sweets....vox, guitars and keys by me. Bass a LM loop by megapaul.

Sounds like some classic rock stuff.
Great work even though it was made two decades ago.
