Listen To 11 - I KEEP MOVING LIKE STAYING WOULD KILL ME Acoustic Song By LINEARFADE | Looperman

15th May 2026 10:59 - 1 month ago
Description : I KEEP MOVING LIKE STAYING WOULD KILL ME is a cinematic journey through highways, blurred cities and emotional displacement. The song explores movement as survival, where freedom and loneliness exist together. Nadine's deeply emotional vocal performance brings vulnerability and intensity to the track, perfectly capturing the feeling of someone searching for meaning while constantly moving between escape, memory and the need to belong. This work is thick and rich. Wonderful vocals. The chord progression is packed with emotion. Lyrics are meaningful. Nadine delivered in a big way. Mix quality is highly impressive. Truly an emotive and reflective listen for me.

Peace,

Mark

Thank you very much my friend Mark. Urban Stories has a very clear aesthetic identity. It does not sound like something created to follow trends; it sounds like the personal work of people who truly had something to express and communicate. With appreciation, LINEAR FADE band.

Dan, thank you very much. You know, many of the songs we wrote and performed are deeply personal. This one as well, where the interpretation of our singer makes it feel like part of her soul, part of her own desire and emotional world. As I also wrote to Mark, Urban Stories was not created to become commercial. It was written because we felt the need to explore the human condition moving through everyday life, sadness, despair, and loneliness. Experiences and emotions that all of us have lived through, and still live through, very often. Personally, I thank you for walking with us through the dark streets and among the endless indifference of the people around us in the world of Urban Stories.
With appreciation,
Chris & LINEAR FADE Band

Yes, we also consider it conceptually one of the most important tracks of our album. The need to escape, to try to find another way out of anything that makes you feel unhappy and lonely, is reflected not only in the lyrics but also in Nadines outstanding performance. I personally thank you on behalf of all of us for the attention and the time you dedicate to our songs. With appreciation, Chris.

love the acoustic work Chris, the whole instrumentation is quality. Nadine's voice is gorgeous, an emotional delivery that is gentle and warm with a vulnerability, but it burst into life too, with power lines of wanting to belong, love that line 'I talk to strangers like they know me'
we all do that here really lol, but when you build friendships you tend to feel the stories your friends sing about, the words resonate with me, my mum was murdered when i was 15, i have always struggled with it mentally, i have always searched for the answers, they never came but when i found music, i found an outlet to relieve the hurt i carry and finding that needing to belong was a long Journey for me, until i found LM, this is were i feel i belong with friends i can talk to and a platform that lets us perform, this a great work, well done Team Linearfade, a great listen at 1am and of course I've got a scotch Chris a nice 12 year old malt I'm sipping as i listen along :-)

My dear friend,
The feeling of familiarity and friendship is absolutely mutual. I am sincerely sorry for the tragic story you shared with me. Unfortunately, the world is dark much like the city we sing about. Most of our songs come from real experiences, stories behind true events that, one way or another, all of us have lived through at this age. Sometimes in tragic ways, sometimes in quieter and more indifferent ones. We are truly happy that our music is able to carry these images to the listener, and that, even for just a few minutes, it can make them feel like the protagonist of what they are hearing. And perhaps even more important is receiving positive comments from musicians and producers of your level. Personally, I thank you for your friendship. Our album is almost finished, but the memories, experiences, and emotions we managed to express through it are not. Often, after a recording session, we would go out for a drink and none of us would speak at all. It affected us very deeply. Let me tell you a little secret: all the lyrics were originally written in Greek. The Greek language is very beautiful, very rich, and has wonderful ways of expressing emotion. The choice was intentional. Later, with Steve who is a native English speaker we translated them and adapted them so they could be set to a piano and guitar arrangement. So, as the Greek person who originally wrote those lyrics, I felt even more strongly the weight of what we needed to convey to the listener. It seems that we succeeded, judging from the comments of our friends here. I have been around LM almost since its foundation. I made many friendships and collaborations here. Back then, our group had a different name, then we disappeared for a while and became inactive, but I always felt this place was also my home. You are a true bon viveur, as we say here in Italy, with your fine whiskey and your appreciation for quality and enjoyment. I am happy for you, my friend stay well. You know, my niece lives in Portsmouth. Perhaps one day, when I come there, we may manage to meet, even if only for a whiskey or a session at a studio stage.
With appreciation and friendship,
Chris and all of us from the band.

I don't know what else to say about your work, it's amazing.
The sound is always perfect. The lyrics captivate you and draw you into the story thanks to that incredible performance.
I have to admit, Nadine has me completely smitten, haha. The way she starts singing practically in a whisper and then suddenly, at 1:30, she breaks into that raw, powerful voice. I imagined Nadine traveling along those endless desert highways in the US, going through cities, stopping at motels, searching and not finding.
I loved it!
Congratulations to the entire LINER FADE family.

My dear friend Juan Carlos, I dont really know what to say anymore about your comments and the strength and joy you give us once again. Honestly, I look forward to your feedback every time I upload a track, because an opinion from an artist like you (and some other very good friends here on the site) is extremely important to us. Well, Nadine is a sweet girla professional musician and performer. She is a wonderful singer with extensive studies in her field. We were very lucky. There are many great voices out there, just like here on the site, and once we finish this album we should start thinking about collaborations. But what is not easy to find is the ability to step into the role of the lead character. She helps us a lot in composition, harmony, and everything in between. We will be losing her now, as she is going abroad to continue her studies alongside, as far as I know, important figures in the field of theatrical music. But she promised she will also help us with our next album, INDUSTRIAL STORIES. Another big thank you from all of us.
Im looking forward to hearing something of yours soon, my friend. Chris

Phenomenal work. All your tracks are polished and tight. What are you using on reverb's. Is it hard or software and which processing do you do if you don't mind me asking. They have some subtle movements but with some nice expansion and throws.

Good evening,

Thank you for your time, and thank you for writing your comment to us. Most importantly, we are allmyself includedvery happy that you liked our tracks.

Of course, I can explain everything in detail, from the mixing process all the way to mastering.
Regarding reverb, mainly on the vocal and guitar channels (there is also another one there, not just a single instance), I have been using for a long time ALTIVERB 7 by Audio Ease. Im not sure if there is anything better in IR technology today, but for us it is ideal. We mostly used to record in small, not well-equipped studios, so I was looking for solutions to create a proper ambient sound.
I tried several reverbs; one quite good option is MC ConvolutionEZ, but I consider it slightly inferior.
For guitars (depending on which ones and what is being played), Riccardo always uses the Boss DD-3 delay and the EMT 140 plate (you can see its a love affair with Gilmour ), along with other gear he has (R200).
I also use the free Classic Reverb (Kjaerhus Audio). Sometimes I need to use both plug-ins in the same mix.
As for me, on drums, beyond some average Shure SM57 microphones I had and still use, I focus on proper tuning. In mixing, I use EQ, compression, reverb (Altiverb), and a gate to remove unwanted resonances and reflections.
Anything else you need is at your disposal.
Thank you again. Tomorrow I will listen to your songs. Chris LINEAR FADE Band
