Description : Another one of those things I've been tinkering with for weeks. For me, it's another exercise in layering polyphonic vocal phrases, something I'm trying to develop further. At some point, it's enough to keep refining it so now it has to come out... Hope you like it!

Greetings, Now this has some nice flow to it this track. I do like it. Not sure about the vocals & vocodex part though. But the melodie itself is a solid one. And i like it a lot. It has a nice vibe to it which i do dig. So yeah well done. Keep on creating. Have a good one, Verdi
Hi Verdi, thanks for listening, I'm really glad you like it. But I'd like to point out that I never used a vocoder or anything like that. It was all done without any such effects. There's just one part where I added a bit of flanger to the vocals, but that's all.
Cheers,
Micky
Those vocals are gorgeously layered. The track has a lush sound to it - very easy on the ear, but at the same time, engaging and intriguing.
The lyrics seem personally pertinent as well... a sign of a very relatable track.
Hello aboemusic, thank you for listening and for the encouraging words. I looked it up and noticed you're from London. I'm sure you've heard of some of my idols, REEL PEOPLE, HUMAN MOVEMENT, URBAN SOUND LAB, TERRANCE DOWNS, etc. Well, they're unattainable, but for me, they're a great source of inspiration for good contemporary R&B music. Not everyone's cup of tea, but definitely mine.
Greetings to London... I've been there a few times and loved it.
This sounds so lush Micky. I've always dug your vocals. The timbre of your voice sits so well with this music and vibe. And thanks again for your bass on that other thing.... Cheers Chris
I really enjoyed this. Ill admit, I was a little hesitant to hit play when I saw the RnB tag, but knowing you consistently put out quality music, I gave it a chanceand this is no exception.
The structure is fascinating. At first, it feels like a collection of individual parts, each doing its own thing. Everything is cohesive, yet distinct. As the track progresses, the elements begin to blend more and more. By the time it reaches the 3:20 mark, the sounds merge so seamlessly that it becomes a rich, enveloping groove you cant help but get drawn intoand dont want to leave.
The overall energy is fantastic. It has this acid-jazz, funk, disco hybrid vibe that feels very Jamiroquai-esqueand that is definitely.....A good thing.
Hey V, now that's what I call a detailed review, one that reads exactly how I imagined it. And that's despite the fact that you're not that passionate about R&B, let's say. Honestly, I have no idea how to properly categorize this track.
So, while your positive review is a real treat for me, the absolute highlight is that you got in despite the "R&B" sign on the door.
Hey Cincocent, I'm especially pleased that you like my track, especially since, unlike me, you're a man on the absolute contemporary front. Thanks for listening.
a fine piece of music with snappy drums great bouncy vibe, great vocal, i expect nothing less from you Micky, get your dancing shows on, come on you've pulled :)
Hi Paul, I'm glad you like my "vocal experiments"... I'd love to do a lot more, but I just don't have the time. It's really a pain. It's great to have you back...
Cheers,
Micky
Hi Anthony, I'm glad you like my track. I always assume that making music is a self-rewarding activity, but it's always nice to receive validation from fellow musicians. Thanks my friend.

Description : Whilst remixing an older song I did discover Purpl from Bristol here in the Acapella section. She was also looking for a remix and now I merged both songs together. It was a pleasure to do because it feels like a positive song lifting up the mood. Hope she is Ok with putting her into a different genre. And yes, the kick is a bit cheesy :-)
