I really like this little showcase of your tracks, it's a really good idea. Nice variety of tempos/compositions. Fave tracks for are; 3, 5 and 8 (really like the guitar on this). Good luck with the album.
nice work bou, there is a good variety and change and if your happy with them thats what counts most, it's also refreshing to here a snippet type promo great idea it paid off, i liked all the tracks the first two being my favs a good lead into an album and you finish good too, back slap bro
The 5th track is quite a lot louder than the rest, as I'm sure you know but there is a nice stream of tracks here. Best of luck getting the album together.
Holy crap yes it is, and no I hadn't noticed. It's one of the tracks that was mastered by somebody else - I guess ideally I should update the others to get to the same level. Thank you so much for noticing!!
Hello BaoBou ,meant no criticism at all.Bro...maybe I put it wrong but if possible I meant if they're able to listen to all of the tracks....my bad with the wording.
Hahahaha no man, I totally got you, but I am the one who expressed myself wrong. I was _hoping_ for criticism. Criticism makes me better.
A fantastic artist like you liking what I do is a huge honour! but an artist like you saying "actually I think that the X could be a bit more Y" would be even more fantastic ;) I'm just greedy.
But thank you so much for your nice comment and thank you even more for stopping by again. You're a gent :)
They alll sound great to me man i like the way you have did this 8 tracks on one love the sound of the guitar in the last track all in all good work and good to see you again :)
Hello again
Very nice work you've got here. Best of luck with the album on Spotify.
My favourites were 1,3,7,8, closer to my musical taste I guess.
Best regards, Anthony
That's really good to hear Anthony, I think people agree on those choices. I may even consider to change the order a bit... but there's also a logic in the tracks that I want to keep :) Xronia polla shmera!
Hello BaoBou, personally I think all are good and worth a listen....your efforts make them all so worthwhile....and interesting to listen to if possible.
HAhaha that's great but I also appreciate criticism, especially from someone as skilled as you, so I sort of hope there was also something you heard where you said "nah" or even "meh" ;)
But I think I'm gving everything a last listen and press the publish button today!
Welcome back - this is a very interesting journey - I love the opening of Stenia - it reminds me of the ambience of A Sea of Honey by Kate Bush, melodic and beautiful but with a longing and wistfulness. The 2nd track didnt 'grab me' as much but when it got to The last Thing on my mind I felt a Fleetwood Mac type of buoyancy which had me hooked in. Those guitars and percussion! This is What we Need had some real strong emotion that is conveyed by the music and your voice - I enjoyed that depth. I noticed a fair smattering of prog rock in amongst the tracks but if you held a gun to my head I would say the tracks that are salient for me are 1,3 and 4. You have worked really hard and have a v distinctive sound. It would be good to have all the tracks in their entirety to listen to, if it was possible. best wishes my friend Kay
Hello Baobou !! I vote 1,3,7 ! hahaha All 8 tracks are very nice to me my friend but I give more points to these three !! Wish you great success on your new work !Cheersssssssssssss !!
Description : Well, It feels like I have not sung for yonks, being busy and all so I quickly wrote/ recorded this song just to indulge myself and for my hubbs we don't drink alcohol or smoke everyone who knows me knows Ive always been a health freak lol
This is such a sophisticated track & it's right up my street. Had so much funnnn!!! singing this and I'm happy! :)
Description : This is my little 16-bar sketch of a Soul-style track... my purpose in making this was to experiment with Melda's MDynamicEQ, which allows you to remove resonances, and to apply EQ's from one track to another. I even EQ'd this thing to sound like a 70's jam.
Description : Here is another track we are currently working on for my forthcoming album, "Songs from the Closet, Vol.1"
Ed Cunningham was gracious enough to provide this composition to me for which I'm grateful. It's a groovy track and the lyrics, for the most part, wrote themselves. My project co-producer and I are working out the vocal arrangement. As per usual, this track isn't mixed. I repeat, it is a rough vocal and isn't mixed. I hope you enjoy the listen!
Description : "The Light of My Soul," written and produced by Richard Shekari, is a devout worship song that celebrates the transformative power of Jesus Christ. The lyrics express profound gratitude for divine intervention and salvation, highlighting the personal journey from despair to fulfilment through Christ's love.
Description : This song is a work of my late big brother RIP., Who happen to be a gifted poet-songwriter. I did the vocal as well as the music based on written notation witch, he always provided for his productions. Hope this song is appreciated. Going to redo in the future.
Description : I actually love the slight imperfections in the muzic, the slight imperfections in the vocals. As long as it’s ok with nln1 I will allow downloads, but even then I would prefer a better mix. For now, enjoy Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel.
I would be willing to send the accapella if you are willing to play in same key, same tempo, some similar version as here. Just message me. :-)
Good luck with your album.
Cheers!
