A campfire song. Beautiful Shekari-soul harmonies. Tight but not restricted. Love the jazzed up chorus. 3 in 1. I thought, first of all, Mind Body Spirit but then I clocked it's to do with the synergy of David, Moses and the Almighty. Do you ever have campfire sing outs??? Kay0s

Thank you, Kay0s! I love that interpretationsuch a powerful connection! Campfire sing-alongs have such a special vibe, dont they? Theres something magical about coming together to share music and stories. Lets keep that spirit alive! Would love to hear your thoughts on future tracks too! Ive actually never had a campfire sing-out experience, but it sounds amazing! Id love to try it someday.

Richard, we have only recently become acquainted and our musical tastes certainly differ, you and John are possibly the most refreshing change to our community that i can possibly think you change genre and still deliver your message, you are craftsmen. i like reggae, Gregory Isaacs, Barrington Levi, Steel Pulse, Aswad, i use to toast to Smiley Culture Cockney Translation when i was younger lol, i would of sang about spreading love and happiness while smoking the herb and the hurt of corrupt governments, and the racist bigotry that they spread to keep us divided, if i was doing reggae :)
you are probably the least likeliest people i would connect with, but they dont understand we do the same thing just different ways, we still spreading love, i just add the suffering the majority feel and i am not writing off the idea of collaborating with you both in time, we met for a reason, that reason just might be to bring an absolute banger bro, keep sharing your positivity and your message

Thank you for sharing such an insightful and thoughtful comment, brother! I really appreciate your openness and perspective on music. Its amazing how different styles can come together to convey similar messages. Theres so much depth in reggae, and I love experimenting with various genres as I try to find my footing in this music journey. I completely agree that were all spreading love in our own ways, and the idea of collaborating sounds fantastic! Lets keep the positivity flowing and see where this journey takes us. Cheers to creating something special together.

Greetings,

Reggae was the first genre of music I started singing and recording in studio so it holds a special place in my heart. I have to say this is such a sweet! track and again the vocals are always on point and super melodious, I particularly like that sound like a steel-pan sound at around 1:58, my little ears pick up everything :) but overall this song is meaningful and carries a nice message, the most high is AMAZING! indeed and so is this song. Well done fella's you both are a beacon of light bringing hope to all hearts. What a breath of fresh air you are to the looperman. keep on keeping on indeed. Bravo!

Description : Music composed by Alex Richard and Laurent Wirz. With: Hanspeter Dubach Lead and rhythm guitars, Alex Richard Bass and rhythm guitars, Claude Barbotte Hammond organ, Joël Perrin Saxophone and me at the drums. The two grooves I used for this one are to find under Loops and Sample, member laurentwirz, reggae. Also an excellent loop from member ebae. I have to say that I asked Michael Mayo before publishing it but I received no answer yet. It was pretty difficult with his acapella because it's a pretty short loop with not a lot of words (for an almost 5 minutes track)! You can ear also some background vocals from Patricia Edwards and I hope it's okay for her.

Description : A quick idea I did in one day, 2 mixes, more an exercise for myself than anything serious. Inspirations were a Peter Tosh docu for the reggae feel, a surfing vid on what a point break was for the vox, the Ace of Bass vid The Sign for the drums and Jaco Pastorius song Crisis for a bit of inspirational bass thrown in. 2 drum loops used and a vocal effect loop for the heck of it in the middle, he. Live percussion, cabasa, guiro and double maraca. Me on git, bass, vox. Here comes Summer!
