Description : my last track caused controversy (object achieved), although the stats were meagre they seemed to suggest more people agreed with me. I was trying to stir this place up a bit, its gone stale you can all see that surely, its supposed to be a community, hardly anyone comments other than a small number of artist, we could all do better.
anyway my response track,
this community is better for me. I back myself 100% I'm kicking in doors

Hey dimestop Message expressed, Message received. As a long time participant here on looper I've always tried my best to listen to and give constructive / positive feedback to artist. As this is a community of artist who should support one another, thanks for "Keeping It Real." Great track and a unique voice,
ive been here 3 years now and from day one ive participated to the fullest, collabs, encouragement, advice, and loads of tracks about our community too Dennel, its all about support, ive received lots of advice too, i am known for waxing lyrical about myself its fun, im an old git really :)) its my alter ego but i am controversial and political, this track was in response to my previous track that dropped bombs and some wern;t to happy, thats it if you wondering https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/242949
thanks for your time listen and comment its appreciated and more fire reggae please
you got my support dimestop. I'm one of the people that could be doing better at supporting other artists. It's certainly a good reminder for me. their is so much overlooked talent and a simple comment could make someone's day better. You're good at doing that, it's admirable. Also, I like the beat and the originality in all your lyrics. it shines through. I find it challenging to write to my own beats and you do a good job of that.
cheers bro, thats exactly right. trying to support others, im not fussed about comments personally im nearly 60 and its not gonna change my life. dimestop is not Paul he's my alter-ego and behaves like a 21 year old :))) i love what i do, of course i take it seriously, i give 100% in to anything i do and have great fun, i slag this place off claim everything and laugh my head of listening back, dont worry about the challenge you will get where you want. the biggest tip i can give you, is research vocal processing i spend more time on the mastering than anything else, remember you can rap/sing as slow as you want, then cut it all and make sure you are on the beat you can close the words together and your rapping fast to a listener, you laying out how tight you want, put your metronome on its a massive help off putting but i big help, being millisecs off ruins the vox. when i used to sing along record i was always half a second off it was dreadful, i edited in to sequence, you have to learn to sing on time its an art in itself i only ever do one take these days and its always on point now and then i only have to concentrate on engineering. ive learnt how important work flow is, having good vocal presets and mixer chains that just need tweaking then, work smart not hard it makes the whole process much more fun, im sure your an FL Studio user, newtone patcher pitcher are good plugins and gross beat isnt just for drums what it can do to vocals or melodies is cool AF i also use quite a few EQ's i use a great freebie parametric from Tokyo Dawn Labs called TDR NOVA there's slick EQ too they are free no sign up just download and go https://www.tokyodawn.net/tokyo-dawn-labs/ hope thats a help bro, i appreciate your stop off and time and im just giving back.
hey Krotan thanks for the stop off as you get to know me you will see im a good guy at heart i encourage all especially the new members i want them to feel warm and welcomed to our platform i want them all to stay and play a part. your obviously not a newbie but our friendship is and it would be difficult to get my message out in a pop song if you know what i mean, thanks for your time bro
Personally, I don't get the hip hop attitude of out doing the other artists and claiming this and that about yourself or anybody else and all the rebuttal and hoopla that goes along with all that. It just takes your focus away from the one thing that matters, the music, the art of songwriting. In the world of rock it's just about the song, the musicianship, the rock attitude. I don't know of too many songs in rock that take that h/h attitude towards songwriting, thank god. Besides, most rockers want to perform and play alongside their compatriots, not worry about getting shot by them, lol!
As far as the song itself goes, the production keeps getting better and better, way to go on that! Keep up the hard work and congrats, grandpa!
hi Wayne, thanks for your regular visit mate. i value you and you feedback as your well aware, i love your work because its genuine your a fine musician too.
Hip-Hop attitude is like no other with its macho slagging off approach, lots of people don't like it for that reason its violent. i have a wide variety of musical taste, my favourite bands growing up were the who, the jam, i hated rock music, we done nothing but fight mods and rockers as you will know. but i loved hip-hop when it started off i was a great dancer and loved to show off spinning on my back windmills etc, i challenged everyone and anyone even if i was up against 10 men, id serve them all. i used to get jumped and a good kicking but that was part of it. competition is what makes you better and stronger. i know a few professional artists and sports men, all this rhetoric about its the taking part that's important is bullshit, that producers losers its about winning you get nothing for second place in life. im just going to continue being me and having a laugh
lol...P, you are tongue-lashing all the way to no return, I feel your frustration and have to say the track and your vocals are popping, very good sound quality also & you make a good point seems some can't be bothered but as I don't come here that much there's nothing to be vexed about It doesn't effect me, I'm living life & have bigger fish to fry but when I do make time to pop in, I listen & comment even though I don't allow comments because (Validation is nice but it doesn't keep me strong) I still share the love with others, always have done from the very start, no one can ever deny that about me. This site is still a good platform for people to put out music but it doesn't have the same feel as it once did. Someone once complained of too much rap and hip hop on this site, I guess we all want variety but stick to what sounds good to our ears. we can only change ourselves not other people but I see you putting it out there. Good Work on the track!
:)) Angel you are exceptional and im not just talking about your voice. you are a shining example of a community artist, you don't have comments for your reasons and that's fine, but you always leave encouraging comments, its not about how many times your here, its about what you do when you are here. if we all choose not to comment this place would fold. i actually don't do bad for comments and listens i joined to share express myself dimestop is my alter-ego all artist have one. Paul is not dimestop, some people forget that. and in my honest opinion the loud ones are remembered not the quiet mouse. im just trying to encourage and support OUR platform, i just have my own way of putting it
What up Dime, I hear you up to your same old thing, (MAKING HOT TRACKS). I'm really impressed with the sonic balance of this track while maintaining a great vocal balance and mix. You just keep getting better and better. I agree with you on the state of LM and the comradery, It seems to only be shared amongst a selected group of us here. We really do need to pump it up and appreciate the opportunity we have here to be able to share music and meet musicians from all over the world. I'm with you on this. PEACE. T576 OPUT.
hey T thanks for the checkin, now people like you who are in my opinion fantastic artists and producers, ive learnt so much from you all, lots of you give back. to have a platform we can express ourselves is fantastic, im one of them artists that appreciate this place, i would never not reply to a comment, that's just rude, we joined to improve and share with like minded folk you would not normally connect with, not playing a part is a waste of time I'll keep trying to improve and say what i think and if people don't like that its tough they wouldn't have commented anyway
Hey Paul.
Another amazing track.
Your text is now always on the right points.
The beat is crazy too.
Did you make it yourself?
Regarding LM...yes you are right.
We're in a slump or something.
I myself am less on LM due to certain circumstances.
But one day it will become more again.
There are also many newcomers suddenly.
Maybe they still have to find their way to decide if they want to stay and if they want to join the oldies of LM lol.
But my experience is that at a certain moment everyone who was gone will come back.
hello Rita, thanks for the comment, yes this place has slumped off, im just trying to stir it up, my last track caused controversy this one im slagging the community off other than the few artists that comment and give back, im not brilliant and never will be comments likes and listens dont bother me one bit, i don't need strangers bigging me up, ive got friends family and grandkids that do that. i joined to share and learn things and to give back to the community, excuse me if im wrong but if all the so called clever people the super dupers (i call them selfish wankers and im NOT afraid to tell them) read between the lines its not about being better than everyone else its about manners, i have good manners, i was brought up to respect people and not to be a shrinking violet i stand up for what i believe in. yet some people here could spell community let alone what it truly means
Lyrical miracle flop out dang SPIT MASTER!NUKES TO THE DEBATE! YEAH YOU'RE YOU'RE RIGHT TODAY STUCK TO ME TODAY ALRIGHT I LIKE IT HATS OFF D! JUST DOING ONE FAVOR I HOPE YOU DON'T TAKE IT AS AN INSULT OR ANYTHING JUST IF YOU COULD JUST SAY LUCKY CHARMS ONE TIME FOR ME JUST SAY LUCKY CHARMS THE WAY THE CEREAL GUY SAYS IT LOL AWESOME TRUTHFULNESS SUKAS! U FUNNY
:)) its great to have a platform to let your alter-ego out G. we been friends for some time now, and you play a part in our community and me being hip-hop am spoilt for choice with your tunes, although ive never told you, your critique is a big factor of were my vocal is today. that's what everyone needs and i thank you for that, i knew were i wanted it to be, but it feels a whole lot better for somebody rlse to tell you because you knew yourself.
never ever feel you would insult me bro, i would be honoured to do that shout for you not sure about lucky charm cereal but i'll research bro our is Kellogg's frosties they Grrreat...
I love how subtle this is. Like every instrument isn't super crisp & right up front. "Everything in the front," is common now & it lacks atmosphere. This has great atmosphere, which I know a thing or two about. I love this track.
thanks bro yeah you certainly know atmosphere, so im really happy about your comment your work is packed with it just a little snipe at our community not exactly a community most don't give back. its a bit same same all the time, im just trying to add fun and promote more participation, just have a subtle way of doing it :))
Yeah, I think listens will always outweigh comments because there are more just plain listeners than producers checking out the site. Maybe it would be better to have a star rating system from 1-5 instead of just a fav. I try to listen to tracks in my genre and that's because I don't wanna listen without leaving a comment, so I need to understand it.. if I do I only listen to the production even if I don't like the actual track..but, we have to face the facts...some folks think they are better than they are..lol..so it's really to be expected, but just love what you do, and forget the rest...
i fully understand your point bro, i too would really only comment if i thought i could input anything, usually the genre i prefer but i listen to ALL music differently now far more experienced so try to be more helpful with feedback and constructive critique
and like you i listen to things my mates be like have you lost your mind that's not music its just noise and i be like yeah but that bass is sic the drums are solid love that lead riff and the percs are off the freeking charts, they stare at me in blank confusion, its noise and its shit change your record :)) i never take myself serious I'll only ever be just average at best, im not stupid and know that, but i have fun. my son thought victory was the best track i done, he thinks your beats are sic bro, he thinks my lyric content and the delivery are my biggest strengths and is now getting more use to me spouting off and says i got more bars than his mates who consider themselves rappers and drill artists
thanks Chris i appreciate you bro, i am the happiest man alive my daughter rewarded me with my latest family addition this morning little Albie arrived just before 11, my 4th grandchild. my true goal in life is NOT to become a great artist, its to become the greatest granddad, ive already got 3 gold medals and consider myself lucky, this just tops it off 4 will be my limit so im told, but im greedy and would take more :))
bro really appreciate that comment, your in the 10% i don't callout :))
we have spoken a number of times about the need to stimulate this place, maybe im wrong but a community tend to work better when everybody gets involved, what's the point in joining if you are going to be mute, compared to listens comments are really poor don't you think. if i hadn't been grabbed by the old spirit we had I'd be gone, i might be holding on to something that don't exist anymore im trying to garner some support.
and as for the voxs, i was chuffed to bits with my processing ive delved into frequency splitting stereo separation expanders doublers etc and automation to get a stronger sound, workflow is easier having some good pre-set vocal chains then just a matter of tweaks or adding other techniques, my journey continues but whether that is here or somewhere else remains to be seen, we've lost loads of great artists simply because of boredom over the last few months. its down to us the artist to improve things, i try my hardest bro.

Description : Something i did when i was about 15, and when i still made beats. This particular track is actually the reason i decided to get into composing at all. I had a good run with the beats and hip-hop scene, but i always had a leaning more towards composing and this, i think, is the catalyst for that revelation. This beat is 9 years old, and gives you a sense of what it was like to be a young, passionate, musically driven teen. Thank you.
