Hi Chris.
How are you?
Long time ago isn't it?.
This track remembers me of my birthday when my children didd give me a wellness moment with massage and face mask etc. I was listen to this kind of music .
So chill and relaxed.
Nice work!!
Hi Rita, nice to hear from you again. I hope things are going better for you now. Been a few changes around here eh? Yes, muzak for cave dwellers lol. Gonna try and catch up on some listening but it's Sunday here and I'm still working, then away in the bush tomorrow for about 10 days with no connectivity. Which is kind of a wellness moment for me. So I'm sorry if I don't get to listen to what you've ben up to. All the best, Chris.
Ahh, very meditative approach to the track, peaceful, tranquil. The drips are nice. You have a good grasp on making an audible place to go and visit in my mind.
I like these kind of tracks, water ones are nice. I have an hour long cd of ocean waves on a beach that would put me to sleep in no time.
Hey Chris - Im floating in cave somewhere and thinking I shouldnt really have eaten those mushrooms but it's going to be alright because my friend Chris told me I can just play his tracks on repeat. Warm, wet, gentle and reassuring.
: )
Classic, maybe one day! You ever pop over this side of the ditch look me up. Goes without saying I love your music. When I hear your creative genius and others on here I sometimes think man, my music sounds so pedestrian. But it is inspirational too. don't work too hard man. chris
Hey Zootman, really like this. The stereo pan on the water drips give it real depth, and the meditative synth layers sound really nice. I love ambiance, the way it drifts and takes you on on a journey is such good ear candy. Really great job, faved for sure my friend :)
I've been trying to put together a "Ambient"
track for forever. The Feeling you get from this
track is hard to put into words.
That was the fastest 3:39 ever. I could have listened
to this track on loop all night.
I don't know where you have to go inside your head to get
this but, keep doing it.
Too much Jynx, thanks a lot. I don't generally start anything with a specific idea in mind but this one I had been thinking about an Eno/Bryne track called Mountain of Needles off the bush of ghosts album. Didn't turn out anything like it but it was kind of the inspiration. Really appreciate your support and feedback man, much appreciated.
Yes I enjoy trying to make different atmospheres. Ive done a few ambient tracks now, one day I might put them together into an album. Thanks heaps for listening and for the encouragement.
Thanks Michael, I have something on the go that is a bit more 'outward' but might be a while before I finish it. But I do really like ambient music, can't help myself sometimes.
great feeling from the opening note Chris, serenity personified. this cleanses the soul. there's something about the sound of water be it dripping, flowing or trickling it instils calm. i grew up 10 mins from the sea, moved to southwest coast to work 2 mins from the sea, i will eventually end up back by the sea hopefully. you can keep bringing this everyday and twice on a sunday as far as im concerned, so relaxing
The Humps once said that dripping water can also drive people insane, though that wasn't my intention! I lived and worked in the UK for a couple of summers in the early 90's in Newquay, selling ice creams and generally being a surfie bum. But I really loved Cornwall, it's a place I could easily live. So I can well understand the pull of the sea. Cheers man.
hmm, this proves that one can go spelunking in the rain. gorgeous and very subterranean mix. the motif cluster is especially cool, there’s some crazy folded spaces between the notes that ooze from the rumbles like glow-in-the-dark cave painting. bliss to my ears, chris!
Hi there, subterranean was what I was after. I had a friend a long time ago who was a spelunker. Mad as hatter (maybe goes with the territory), loved his psycadelics but an interesting and lovely guy.
Yes that was the idea. My wife (who hates all my music) says it is 'beige'. She might be right but then true ambient music in my definition is music that can equally be listend to or ignored. Thanks for listen and comment.
Description : Headphones are recommended for a more immersive experience :P - - - A weary American soldier is walking through the remains of what used to be a small town in the middle east, only to rediscover the horrible reality that sometimes war can affect even the ones who have no part in it.

This is my first attempt at creating a virtual environment to tell a story and convey emotion. Hope you enjoy! Comments are welcome!
Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!
Description : Working with DarkKZ by Beatskillz, Synthmaster 2.9, Waves Bass Fingers, Microtonic drum synth, Izotope nectar 3 elements, Ozone 8 Elements & several other plugings I'm trying for the first time. The vocal samples are from Ghosthack, LANDR & Sampleswap. Hope you like it. Cheers.
Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : Ambient, psychedelic chill out rock or something or rather. Lyrics, vocals, guitars and keyboards myself. One drum loop used (free Loopmasters ambient pack). If you want a bit of a back story on the words check the lyric page.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : EDIT: I adjusted the ending as per Paperkup's suggestion. I like it better. Maybe you will too.
The realization, and inevitable acceptance that the last ember of life is smouldering into obscurity. Then finally, and peacefully, exhaling the final breath of life.
This is a dark ambient track that will go between two of my other tracks. A good pair of headphones/earbuds are highly suggested for this one.
Opinions and criticisms are welcome. Enjoy, and take care. V.
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. Feedback is always welcome. Thanks.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
Bye

I think we are going to need something for our water treatment soon.
Well done.
