She picked Techno so I am too. (smiles). Anyways, had some difficulty finding the original coz she's got it disabled at the mo (shrugs). Hey Elaine, this one's for you chica.
There have been a number of her songs that I've felt inclined to mess with. This one took the Cake (and ran, haha). Yeah, this track has been nagging me, pleading for me to remix it. So I did and this is what we came up with (so far, might revamp this a bit later on).
I just went to town on this, going crazy with the reverse and adding in some effects here and there. Not as many as I normally do, but enough for it to qualify, I think. Dunno why, but Detroit Nights kept poppin into my head tonight when I was mixing it. So I went with that approach.
Though originally, I was wanting to go with a cleaner & more basic approach instead. Breaking this down to the core samples and loops to import 'em into another program of mine to add similar soundfonts so I could channel isolate 'em (like the bass or the drums, etc). That would've taken a whole lot longer though. So for this version I took the lazy route. Shame on me, shame, shame...
The remix name comes from the back & forth action mixed with a current trend among certain couples in their night life activities. The echo part has to do with how I tried to place emphasis on parts of the vocals.
I would say that this is kind of a rough cut that I'll need to work on tweeking later. For right now, I want to share what I've done so far. I hope yall dig my Spin on this truly amazing song. Later on yall!

Mysterious intro continued by a hypnotic yet very energetic trip through different techno productions. I have at least 2 more techno parts to add and a few more scary booby traps. All together a 3/4 more mins to stack behind it. After that i'll run through the piece again, finalize mixing, master it and upload incl. download. Any feedback is welcome! MMMMMMMH FRESH MEAT!

Annyway the track was cool.
I like the reversing of the beats a lot but you did it for too long, it's a good way to bring in changes, like hat or bassline or whatever. The fading in the beginning doesn't sound good to me. The vocals work well. There are some clicks after the reversing too, or it happens in a subtly abrupt way. Where did you get the acapella?

Considering how most people on here just scan through the first 5 or 10 tracks, know what I mean?
The revo style's something that I've been experimenting with for a hot minute now. And I agree, I think I may've overdone it on this one (specially that part with the vox in rev section).
As for the problem areas, yeah, I see what you're saying. This is kind of in the 'rough sketch' stage. So I'll def haveta go back & tweek this one some.
As for additional parts, I did this in my conventional (mostly unchanged) style of remixing stuff. Single song, 2 or 3 channels, mostly with just effects and volume level manipulations.
As for the vox, I asked Esh and she said it was off of Magix. She must have a different version then the one I have coz I could only find one of the voc-sams she used in my loop library.
But anyways, aren't they great? And have you heard her vers yet?? Glad ya dug it. Later on!
