Thanks! I like songs that have a fun, twisted or interesting tales to tell. Been trying to work more on the telling of stories in my songs.
That loop might have been fit in there somewhere, never thought of looking for those types of sounds to add.

Things are going as good as they can, I suppose.

First off I have ringing in both my ears so that affects how I perceive high freqs. Second, I've found that if you let cymbals and tambo's(higher freq instruments) get too loud they can overtake your mix so lately I've been trying to just fit them in the mix more subtly.
Honestly, I wasn't even going to add the tambo, last min addition to add some high freqs that seemed to be lacking in the mix.
