Description : Hey everyone! This is my second attempt at a techno song to date. I got the idea playing pacman, beacuse its so awesome, and then i thought, why don't i do a remix of this song! So i set about learning and sequencing the main melody in Matrix, a analog sequencer utilising Subtractor, a polyphonic synthisizer which is based in Reason, adapted for Protools. Once i had made the cool melody, i then went about and got some drum loops from this site! I ended up using three drum loops (snare, bass beat, and breakbeat) and the pacman noise, the 'remix' voice and the explosion sound effect. I wrote, recorded, sequenced, panned, layered, mixed and mastered everything else myself after i had found the loops. Well sorry about the boring description but i couldn't think of anything else to write! tell us all what you think of my track, any improvments i can make, any ideas for anything else i can do, or simply just ANYTHING AT ALL! (reviews much appreicated) THANKS! -DjSomnium (Lorin)

very catchy, I cannot stand the matrix in reason, try out the thor and Arpeggiator, you cannot go wrong! Try putting scream on it and cranking the rez for a boss effect
I'm loving that bass, I don't like to use matrix in Reason though, unless I am Amp Gating a sound rhythmically. The clap could be a little louder too. Around 1:20 or so those pads that come in are a bit louder than everything else, drowning them out a bit in my opinion.
ahh ok, i quite like matrix, but i mean thats the only sequencer i have seeing as i only have a small adapted version of reason.I would like another more advanced one that would be good.
And yes, the pads are a little loud, but i guess they still sound ok though, it seemed like everyone else liked it i think.
And ill make the clap louder yeah :)
thanks for ur comments!

This is an awesome track. I can see myself to this in a club, with pacman on the video screen. Great piece of work. How long did it take for you to create? I added this to my favs, thanks for sharing
A very catchy tune. I get images of the little pacman doing a kind of robotic dance to your track. Do you know anyone who could make such a video for this track? I think you could do a whole album and videos of this stuff. Great track.
Hey dude, thanks for the review! And the awnser is yes, it probably is your loop! i downloaded like 150+ loops from this site a while ago, but i only just realised that there were no names on the loops etc when i came around to using them. So, im sorry for not mentioning you in this!!
Cramps... You read my mind man. OMG, this is so crazy. A week ago I was watching Club Dread and that maze scene came on- with this track. And I got to thinking about how cool it would be to remix this track. Kinda hinted at doing a collab mix with Splish though I dunno if I ever talked with him about it in one of the few messages I've sent him recently. Looks like ya beat me/us to the punch.
As for the track, this is so cool. Man, I'm floored. I love the whooshy-like effects ya used and that drum build was cool. The bass is nice and juicy too. The only thing detracting from this one is it's short length. Please, plz, plz say that you'll make a longer mix of this? I could maybe try if you'd like. I'm thinkin like 5-8 minutes, somewhere around there. Lemme know, cool!? Anyways, massive props for doin this one (though not for reading my mind, haha, jk). Lates!
Haha, wow !! well, that i was not expecting!! i guess great minds think alike right? well i also heard that fools think the same, hope its not that one :) As i was making this track i was accually thinking, wow i think this is way too long and everyone is going to be bored by the end! but i guess not right? and now that youv'e said that, of course i will make it longer!! I will need to think what i can add in to keep vareity and to keep everyone listening. Maybe send me some ideas as to what to add in to make this longer? Perhaps even, if you would like, you could download this track, and think about extending/remixing it?? send me a message tell us what you think. thanks! -Lorin xD (Btw, there are also a few pacman remixes online and on youtube etc so you might wanna check there for some more inspiration?)
automation skills are sick in this! i see you have put in some effort, because it is filled with heaps of varied melodies! i think you've done it some justice seeing it's only your 2nd attempt at this genre!
well done Lorin!
keep this up, sounds like you had a lot of fun with this 1
Thanks heaps for the review! yeah i tried some different melodies, to see what would work best! It was pretty fun making woulda been cool with some more pacman sound fx but hey!

Description : I have been using LooperMan for practice for some time now. This my most recent track. The only loop in the song is BabyGee's vocals. Free to download and if you repost tag me so I can share it as well.
Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...
Description : Summer type dance track, for those precious 2 weeks off, if you can get them! Made around a selection of different loops and some keys from me.
Description : Inspired by an experimental percussion piece I heard. Rhythmic ticking builds into pounding beats and heavy soundscapes. I haven't done any mixing or mastering yet so tell me what you think. Any and all comments are welcome.
Great track!

Thought I'd stop by and see what you had up and I see this as a featured tune.
I think you did an outstanding job on this tune. Capturing all the essence of Pacman sounds and a good feel.
I like this tune a lot and you did a great job of piecing the loops together.
Thanks for sharing it with us,
Randy
Is that my loop I can hear in there?
Keep up the great work.
