My greatest technical achievement was passing Grade 8 at age 15 (19 years ago now!) with distinction and one of the highest marks (142/150).
More recently, I was amazed to be accepted to study Music Technology on an unconditional offer without the right qualifications and only my solo album to convince them. I have now graduated with an upper second in music technology and popular music.
I have just finished my masters degree in Music Production scoring a merit which I am totally made up with!
I think that any form of creative expression should be respected, encouraged, and used to it's maximum potential in whatever way it comes.
I prefer to take the view that it's about what YOU want to do with your talent, not what other people want, otherwise you will have a miserable frustrating life and that can't be good for anyone...
