If you have time take a listen and give RonGallagher some feedback.
This track of yours is definitely saying something. be great to hear vocal on it with strings and organ maybe. I imagine a gutsy vocal like Joe Cocker on this..lamentable and straight at you..
Thanks Daniel.
I do have a lyric and a few more progression options in the works. Going through one of those overwhelming periods we all go through as artists. Many loose ends calling for attention.
Thanks for listening and commenting. Much appreciated.

Nice arrangement and great guitar playing! I like the lead guitar -blended well for me! again man you can play the guitar!!Had to check your recipe- you forgot "Now Beat Well" (Memphis Soul Stew) lol Take care!! Using your song next week in the kids play it is a hit here! Thanks for sharing also!! Fila
Fila,
Thanks again for another kind review. I am so honored to be included in your mentoring the kids. Just shows what can happen with a little bit of understanding, sounds and a whole lotta soul.

I agree with Eshar, great chill going on, though when you got to those really fast arpeggio notes it didn't sounds too good to me. Goes into a really psychedelic trip with all that sliding near the end and I love it!
D,
Thanks for the props. Yes I tend to get carried away on the guitar picking once in awhile. Others have mentioned this as well. I gotta lay off the coffee...Thanks D.

I don't think I have reviewed one of your songs in a few months. Sorry about that. Today is review day as I am about 20 behind before I post my next tune.
I like your acoustic playing and this tune overall. Acoustic guitars always have that nice ring to them. I myself bought 'Mitchell' last year and it sounds beautiful. I used it in my last country song.
I like your use of controlled feedback as well and the use of harmonics. Almost like a Sitar sound to me.
Very nice arrangemnt.
Thanks for sharing it...your a really good musician!
Randy
Randy,
Thank you so much for the kind words.
I appreciate your regarded opinion.
Hope to do more acoustic works as it just seems like the thing to do right now. I'll stop by for a listen soon. Many projects underway. Your encouragement is very much appreciated.

Wow..what a great panning lead....this is layered with that acoustic tracery of tinkling sound..there's nothing quite like the chimed resonance acoustic fingerstyle lends to a piece...it's why Crosby,Stills,Nash and Young were so popular...it has that universal appeal...the lead work is outstanding..I think this track is beautifully poised...it's a living breathing thing...marvellous work man..excellento!...cheers Dave :)
Thanks Dave.
Your kind comments are very much appreciated.
Hope to give this one a bit more attention today.
The last few months have been a struggle on many levels. I am happy to say hope survives...and so do I. More soon.

hope to hear more tunes like this from you! nice outside the box track. i'm thinking not having a bass line on this track enhances all that's going on!
therealneil, that's my tag!;)
ps your not going anywhere are you?
Neil,
I may well take your advice on the bass. We'll see. I do have a few ideas to at least try and see what happens. I can always stick with this rendition, but it still calls out to me for something more. As for going places, I am happy to get something posted here in the friendly confines of the looperman community. It feels like coming home in many ways.
Thanks Neil.

Description : Remastered March 2023. Recorded live on two mics. For my wee daughter Tui; I wrote it sitting on the bathroom floor, keeping her company while she was in the bath....
Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!
Description : A rhythm guitar track I made and sent to my cousin on the East Coast. Made with Tape-A-Talk app. from the Google Play Store. Download and collaborate with it.
Description : My very first acoustic piece in quite a while..
I hope someone grabs this and puts some vocals to it.
The software I used is Reaper, Addictive Drums and Gearbox.
Hardware is a Jackson RR3 plugged into a Line 6 Pod X3..
Description : Thats my newest Track all made out of free vst of the dsk series. Its a kind of chill out acoustic string thing that makes me thinking. Its very calm, inspirational and gives me power...
