Description : My second soul track
Description : My salute to James Jamerson, one of the most influential bass players in modern music, he played unaccredited on dozens and dozens of Motown number one hits and as a kid I loved that music and still do. The secret to JJ's tone is quite simple, a Fender Precision bass, flatwound strings and a foam mute.....and last but not least learning how to play with feel.

Description : Well guys, if you gonna do a cover and fuk it up, go big. make it your own i have. re-wrote it, changed the music and tempo bags of swing, some funny lyrics, i had a blast with one of my all time favs, you all know this banger, but not like this you don't. this will be interesting, it was a right mouthful too :)))
Description : This is my little 16-bar sketch of a Soul-style track... my purpose in making this was to experiment with Melda's MDynamicEQ, which allows you to remove resonances, and to apply EQ's from one track to another. I even EQ'd this thing to sound like a 70's jam.
Description : I heard this track and decided to write some simple lyrics to sing/exercise my vocals since I have been tied up with other Interesting things so, I'm doing my own thing and as usual this is for my hubbs Enjoy bb XXX
Description : Neo Soul

Description : For everyone who needs to hear this: we can be our own worst enemy, our own fiercest critic and our most demanding boss. Don't do that - this song for everyone who does that and needs a hug.

Description : When the film The Land Before Time came out in 1988, I was just 3 years old.
The song has accompanied me all my life! Important in a time when wars and natural disasters shock us every day! So now in the run-up to Christmas a cover version of this great song by: James Horner and Will Jennings in a country-pop version arranged by Angelica Schwanitz.
The Band:
Manuela Boekels
Angelica Schwanitz
Sophia Berkel
Paul Scherner
Ulli Stein
Peter Schninkel, Ben Perl
First few seconds in...Prince.
Then blues, sad blues.
It's got soul!
Lots of soul!
Oh soul!
Love it!!!
Hey Neuromancer, this definetely has a 60s/70s vibe like "Hey Love" by the Delfonics ... Absolutely brilliant!
Soulful indeed! Youve really captured that soul sound here, lovely tonewheelorgan too. Guitar at 1:44 sounds really authentic adding soul to the organ stabs! Well done my fiend very nice work!
Everything about this is fantastic. The long organ chords, the organ stabs, that freakin groovy bass. It transported me back to the '70s. I just loved it, grooving in my office chair.
i like that riff and the sound of that guitar at 0'40''
cool track mate
very soulful track...
Nice!
Epic...bit reminds me of the 70's big progrock bands...needs vocs on my humble...great track neuro...quantity is not at the expense of quality...:-)
